ACPin Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 FYI. US SAH already has these sets for release on January 1, 2015! AC Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I totally just noticed: the Shadow Trooper's box doesn't depict Mustafar in the background; it's Raxus Prime! Could we see a TFU crossover into the story?! Could it be re-canonized? Could we get Galen Marek again?!?! Or am I over-thinking this? Quote

I'd love another Galen Marek, the old one is really outdated now and it would be great to get him in one of his other outfits, maybe with a yellow lightsaber. The alien Jedi with the yellow lightsaber pike would be great as well. Can you think of any sets TLC could make based on this apart from another Rogue Shadow? And yes, you are over-thinking this in the grand scheme of things, considering how many uncanon sets we're getting. Still, I'm not complaining. Give us a Durge already! Quote
darththeling Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I think there's a strong argument for the "imperial carrier" set being the Gozanti-class cruiser. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gozanti-class_cruiser Quote

duboismerci Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Its weird the Battle Droid Troop Carrier (75086) is available on the TRU website (Canada) for 49.99$ (therefore US price should be 39.99$) No other new set are available. Just this one. Guess what is the TRU exclusive... Quote
pcsguy88 Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) Just waiting for the AT-DP to hit the shelves. tap tap tap tap TRU is just being cruel: Edited December 22, 2014 by pcsguy88 Quote

Tariq j Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Good to see the new sets are emerging on some websites. Overall I feel this is a very strong wave with some great sets. The stand outs for me are the Battle Packs, the AT-DP, and the Skyhopper. Quote
namioik Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 ANYWAYS, check back here around 8 PM - 9 PM for some exciting news, m'kay? But it's almost been 24 hours and no news! :( Quote
Darth Malgus Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Thanks for the feedback on the review y'all! I'm waiting for someone's heads up to share info. This may be the cause of some delay? Quote
Jacob_9821 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 But it's almost been 24 hours and no news! :( It's probably just something or other about the unnamed source wanting to make sure everything is good before this is leaked. Just2good has been very reliable in the past, there's probably a reason why he can't release the info yet. Quote
Venkefedo Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 If Bothan Spies operated like Just2Good, Episode IV would be about Rebels tapping their fingers on a table and some Bothans editing videos about Death-Star-Plans while the Empire rules the Galaxy. Bothan Spies had nothing to do with Episode IV's Death Star plans! Glad to see at least two face prints among the ITT Stormies; shame they're technically "clones" even if it's the new go-to generic trooper head. Still prefer Panaka's head for actual clone troopers. Clone 01354 Productions Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) ^It's okay, of course; take all the time you need. Don't worry, none of us will leave. In fact, some of us may not sleep. BTW, do you have leaks for other themes too? Like, say.....Bionicle.....?! Edited December 23, 2014 by LN-01354 Quote

You're thinking of Kazdan Paratus, and though he was crazy, he was probably the most memorable character behind Maris Brood (and Galen of course) I'm a huge fan of TFU (first one second was a little to bizarre) and i for one am really hoping that Rebels brings it back to life. Yeah, thanks for the clarification, I'd forgotten his name. I agree that Maris Brood is likely more memorable ( we're talking about the Dark Side girl who rode a RANCOR) but still think Kazdan Paratus would make a better minifigure though. PROXY would be nice as well, for his character not his physical appearance. I'm a huge fan too, and the battlepack has given me faith in more sets. I still can't think of any ships which would translate well well to sets (with one of the above minifigures thrown in as Lego does so much nowadays). Is there more ships in other versions/sequels of the game? Edited December 23, 2014 by Dragonlego27 Quote

TFU is pretty much dead due to Rebels showing the main events differently. The chances of recanonisation are zero. I think you're massively over thinking this, it just means that TLG has the licence to produce another EU (or Legends) set. Quote

I think you're massively over thinking this, it just means that TLG has the licence to produce another EU (or Legends) set. So far, from what I've seen, Rebels has been pretty much localised to Lothal and the surrounding sector. (Spoilers for Rebels below) We did see Bail Organa, in what was little more than a cameo, but that could have been before or after his capture and involvement with Marek. And when/if we see the Rebel Alliance form in the series, it may fit in with the TFU version of events. I'm not saying TFU is still canon, I just don't think its dead. And the fact Lego is still making EU sets makes me hopeful we'll see more sets in the summer (before the SW7 boom). Quote
markw Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Never been a fan of the Rebels stormie, but pleasantly surprised to see the new 'alternate' expression, similar to those seen on the Imp. Gunners. Hope the Shadow troopers feature one of each too. Also has the shadow guard got a plain red head or a red 'balaclava' style head? Quote
hjmediastudios Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 The shadow guards both have plain red heads. Quote
GallardoLU Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 well, in still speculating on what if any TFU sets Lego could do (assuming Rebels does indeed combine the 2 stories) there is: Stern's Walker a modified AT-ST Raxus Prime junk Skiff the Nemisis Class gunship in TFU-2 an Imperial dropship Bail Organa's Shuttle Ugnaught Walker (small 2 pilot cargo lifter) the Empirical(though this one is probably far to large to see as a set even if it was 100% canon) and as was said above we know very little of the back story for the Rebels so far. if Disney is smart they will use Galen Marek as part of the Rebels line, not his physical character but at least reference what he did to start the Rebellion as it is now. clearly they re-stylized the rebel emblem and that is Galen's Family crest. (so it is after the events of TFU, but possibly before TFU-2) Proxy, Juno, and Rhom Kotta could still be brought back to aid the fight. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Wouldn't it be great if in this year's advent calendar on the day for the 18th it includes a John Boyega minifigure or something for Episode VII?I say that because I seriously doubt that with super secretive JJ Abrams will want anything out before the film premieres and I doubt We'll get Episode VII sets in the Summer 2015 wave but instead the Winter 2016 wave that might get released officially a little early. Even if it isn't re-canonised (though I'd like it if it was), Lego might still make sets based on TFU. Clone Wars has been uncanon for almost a decade and Lego just made a set based on that. I like your ideas, the Ugnaught Walker would make a great Cloud City battlepack, with two Ugnaughts and two Bespin Guards. At first I thought the Nemisis-Class gunship would be to bizarre, but then I saw the Wookee Gunship and realised that doesn't really matter to TLC. Finally, I think the Sturn set is a bit unrealistic as for me his character and design aren't very interesting and we seem to have no shortage of AT-RTs. Still, loving the ideas and a new printed Rancor with Maris Brood would make a great exclusive (no unique parts). Edit: YES! I'm a Citizen! Edited December 23, 2014 by Dragonlego27 Quote
