just2good Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Ah, that makes sense. Haven't seen Episode IV in fourever! Anyways, LEGO Stores are already stocking on the 2015 sets... including the retail exclusive ones! Here's a look at the Azure Angel set! Overall, this set is very cool and a great representation of the Azure Angel from the Clone Wars 2003 show. The Asajj minifigure is very welcomed, as this one doesn't have the goofy Clone Wars look. Also, the $40 price point is alright, as the ship size is satisfying as is the minifigure selection... to an extent. Quote
namioik Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Hm, I likey. So I guess they're done with the Clone Wars style of faces, even with Clone Wars minifigures (this dude's from Clone Wars, right?). Where is this picture from? You can tell it's not clone wars style due to his eyes Quote

So I guess they're done with the Clone Wars style of faces, even with Clone Wars minifigures (this dude's from Clone Wars, right?). Where is this picture from? That's Wulff Yularen of the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB)! Seen first in ANH but also seen in a few TCW episodes. http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111029215424/starwars/images/f/f4/WullfYularen.jpg Quote
hjmediastudios Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 This is the ANH version- same rank insignia, same white uniform, same hairstyle. In the Clone Wars show, he wears a gray uniform of a different cut and has darker hair. Quote

He actually had black pants in ANH (he, or a VERY similar ISB officer, is seen walking around in an officer's cap while Han and Luke are escorting Chewie around, I think... white tunic, black pants) Quote
ChiefPie Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 So he was Anakins admiral in the Clone Wars series? Quote
namioik Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 So he was Anakins admiral in the Clone Wars series? Polybag is from original trilogy Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 So he was Anakins admiral in the Clone Wars series? Yes. We saw him a lot in the series. Quote
rollermonkey Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) That was my point, it's not exactly the same. Sorry if I wasn't clear. In my mind a re release is a set that is 100% the same. Same parts, same figs, same set number. I know I'm splitting hairs here but yes then you could count multiple sets that only have minor differences. That Technic rerelease even has the same set number even though it's years out of sequence. Yes, they do rereleases. That Azure Angel looks much better than in the watermarked preview images. Asaji's looking a bit like she's put on some weight, though. Edited December 30, 2014 by rollermonkey Quote
joelwuj Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the review of the Azure Angel just2good! I just hope that I can find it at a decent price here in UK.. Cheers and have a great birthday too Edited December 30, 2014 by joelwuj Quote
joebiwankenobi Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 That Technic rerelease even has the same set number even though it's years out of sequence. Yes, they do rereleases. To end the debate on an exact rerelease, what I heard secondhand was that it won't be an exact rerelease. There are many surprising aspects to it and I want to confirm that what I heard is legit from the informant. Will let you know when I can. The Azure Angel looks outstanding and I'm impressed they made Yularen from Episode IV which is great for OT fans like myself. I'll need to pick him up so he can be in the deathstar's conference room. Gremer Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Either Yularen was fine with me, and I'm glad we're getting one at all. For what it is, it looks amazing. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Here's that polybag! -Sci I like it, well aged and white uniform nice... Such an obscure choice though. Edited December 30, 2014 by Darth Malgus Quote
joebiwankenobi Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Maybe Yularen will appear in Rebels? That seems highly plausible given that the show is produced by the same people who made the CloneWars series. Edited December 30, 2014 by joebiwankenobi Quote

Agent Kallus is from that department. You never know. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 White pants? LEGO, do your homework!!! Quote
pcsguy88 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Isn't that the Rebel colors on that polybag? Same orange as my AT-DP box. Quote

irispen Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 The yularen poly has no rebel logo at the bottom so its not a rebel minifig. Quote
duboismerci Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Isn't that the Rebel colors on that polybag? Same orange as my AT-DP box. It is the box theme for this year. For all the sets even those who aren't rebels sets. (like Vader for last year and Yoda the year before) The rebels sets have an additional "Star Wars Rebels" label written on the box Edit: irispen beat me to it by a couple seconds Edited December 30, 2014 by duboismerci Quote
Fives Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Wow, I love that we're getting ANH Yularren and not the CW version! Awesome! This may be the first May the 4th promo I actually make an effort to get. Is it usually with a purchase of 75$? Quote
Doctor_ocks Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 This may be the first May the 4th promo I actually make an effort to get. Agreed. That's pretty awesome. Quote
Schneeds Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Where is the source/evidence that the Hoth set is going to be a large scale one? I'm not seeing it. Quote
