Darth Punk Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) I find it odd that Demitri's first breaking of the Summer list designated 75101 and 75102 as Rebels sets and now they are TFA sets. Demitri's info has proven to be spot on except for that designation - which was confusing at the time given the "Wolf" tag was applied to the Rebels sets, whereas now we see all the Wolf sets were TFA sets. I wonder why Demitri or his source labelled them as "Rebels"? And does the placement of 75106 out of order signify anything regarding its source? Curious... 75106 is in that order because it's one of the 5 summer sets. The rest come out sept 5. I wouldn't read too much into the wolf tag. I imagine somewhere along the line someone just filled in the blank spots. @Jedi I agree the last of those sets are most likely rebel sets. And I too as I'm sure many others are disappointed in the lack of OT sets. But the two we are getting are great. Edited January 8, 2015 by Darth Punk Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 The final duel is more than the price of Palpatine's arrest? Hmmmm, so much for getting a cheap Vader. That implies more minifigs than just the big three in the scene. Other than the collapsing catwalk, the chair, the stairs and the window, I do not see what else they could include. Perhaps, the main platform will be elevated, and the set will be fairly high with many parts dedicated to making it tall enough to have the shaft deep. Otherwise, shaft where Palps meets his fate would have to be fairly shallow, like the well in Mines of Moria. Royal Guards would seem like the next obvious inclusion, but like others have said, we have a battle pack. Stormtroopers would be nice, but they are not really in that scene. Lots of questions...... Quote
Robianco Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 As Palpatine is seen conversion with Royal Dignitaries in this area earlier in the film there's a chance that they could be included. As much as we have a battle pack I think we'll probably get a Royal Guard or two. I think maybe a Stormtrooper and Imperial Official could also be included to create some kind of briefing scene rather that i just being set for the battle. It's certainly a decent sized set if the pricing is correct so it may just be that the build is pretty comprehensive but from what I can remember the battle over Bespin happened over a much larger area. I might be wrong though. It would seem odd to now give us the book exclusive Palpatine in a set so I'm assuming it will be something different as that's never happened before has it? New mask for Vader to allow the Sebastian Shaw unveiling and a slightly modified Luke from the Endor forest.. or maybe just the same version... I mean the Biker Scout from Endor ended up in the Advent calendar didn't he? Also we're getting a Tydirium so we can always use that for the dying Vader 'Let me look at you with my own eyes' scene. There was a link to a video on the official site several weeks ago and in it there was a Sheev minifigure that looked just like the one released in the book except it was grayer. So that might have been it. As opposed to IMHO a more Episode III looking Emperor Sheev Quote

Lego Sate Pestage, by the Force... Quote
Darth Punk Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 The dignitaries would very cool but seems unlikely. But I do agree the set will be like Rubianco stated, the main 3, 2 royal guards, an imperial officer and stormtrooper. Luke, being the 10236 version and the emperor like the book exclusive. It's interesting we already have a hard date for TFA merchandise release. It makes me think that we will see a better flow of information as Disney works to get everyone into a Star Wars frenzy. Looks like they are ramping up and using may 4 to kick off Star Wars for the rest of the decade. I hope people are ready. Quote
montgocloud Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I would be a little angry if we got an Imperial Dignitary before Aunt Beru or a proper Wedge Antilles. But we did get Airen Cracken with the B-Wing, so I guess anything is possible. Those are a lot of sets. I was thinking about getting the Naboo Fighter purely because I like the design, but that may not be possible considering all of the OT/TFA/Rebels sets... Quote

They just don't scream Star Wars to me. The OT/PT stuff is supposed to release in june, and all the TFA stuff in September, so maybe it'll be easier to get all of the sets this year. Quote
Khaled Yousef Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) I hope the news about the wolf sets being TFA is wrong; I was looking forward to a final chance to get some of the missing important OT and PT characters before TFA and Rebels takes over starting next winter. Chris12399 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 can someone explain what the list means? (so are we getting like two waves of sets between june and september?) and can anyone do a euro to dollar conversion for the sets? Quote
Darth Punk Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 can someone explain what the list means? (so are we getting like two waves of sets between june and september?) and can anyone do a euro to dollar conversion for the sets? The first five sets come out in June and the rest come out sept 5. Though as a few people have pointed out the list is not complete. I suspect we will see a few more sets for the summer wave Quote
Admiral-Ackbar Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 75091 Classic Flash Speeder £34.99 75092 Naboo Starfighter £54.99 75093 Death Star Final Duel £69.99 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium £79.99 75106 Imperial Assault Carrier £99.99 75099 Episode VII £19.99 75100 Episode VII £39.99 75101 Episode VII £59.99 75102 Episode VII £69.99 75103 Episode VII £79.99 75104 Episode VII £99.99 75105 Episode VII £129.99 75107 £14.99 75108 £14.99 75109 £19.99 75110 £19.99 75111 £24.99 75112 £29.99 Thanks for this Darth Punk, its good to see pricing for the sets. Assuming that the prices are correct, I would hope that the Final Duel comes with a decent amount of figures; remember that TLG isn't exactly known for placing only figures seen in the vehicle etc. in sets (I'm looking at you Palpatine!). The shuttle looks like a very good price if it lies somewhere between the original shuttles and the UCS. The flash speeder and starfighter are a bit overpriced, I would think something else is included with them (something to blow up and fly out of respectively). Quote

Ultron Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Episode 7 sets in September? Why!? That's way too early, not to mention plot spoilers!! How and why did Disney ever allow this? Aw man, the final duel is expensive! So much for a cheap way of getting emperor palpatine! I'll still buy it of course though. Don't know why it needs to be so expensive though...Are we getting a reactor shaft too? Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 So much for a cheap way of getting emperor palpatine! You can get the 'Dark Side' book for +-10 bucks. That book includes an Emperor minifig. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Episode 7 sets in September? Why!? That's way too early, not to mention plot spoilers!! How and why did Disney ever allow this? Well I'm completely fine with this,Lego sets based on a movie don't give big SPOILERS but minor if you look closely,I mean the new Avengers:Age of Ultron sets are mostly spoiler free since it acknowledges things we already know.Like for example:Hulk vs Hulkbuster or the Avengers attacking Hydra. Plus I image the first wave will be mostly ships/vehicles. Any real spoilers would be saved for winter 2016. Quote
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Did we ever find a name for the new Snowspeeder pilot from the microfighter set? http://www.bricklink.com/ml/sw607.jpg Helmet works for y-wing pilot Tiree in ANH http://forum.rebelsc.../500/Tiree1.jpg You can see this pilot during snowspeeders' scramble Also you can see another pilot during "the first trasport is away" scene wearing the Skyhooper Pilot helmet, the only thing here that bothers me a lot is why these helmets are gray instead white, I really hate this. I'm going to say it is very likely that nothing in any of the sets will be a revelation, almost certainly the sets will coincide with things seen in the trailers. At best, you'll be given some clues based on set names. Quote
