Aethersprite Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'm so pumped for the Tydirium! I really hope it has an interior. Quote
irispen Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I cant wait for photos!!! I hope for more stormtroopers!! Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Not sure about a camo Chewie, thought he was naturally camouflaged? correct. He never wore camo or anything like that....so the fig puzzlez me... Quote
Darth Punk Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 The lego version Chewbacca is all brown. But if you look at him in RoTJ he has black/ dark area on him. That could be the camo that is being referred to. Quote
markw Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Maybe it's the same version as this and the guy has mistaken the leg printing for camouflage? Same as Will, Slave I has halved my lego storage/display area (top of wardrobe) and Tyderium has long been my favourite SW ship, so I have high hopes. Edited January 20, 2015 by markw Quote
Robianco Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) I can't see them actually making Chewie 'camo'... Would it not just be the version from the Droid Gunship? That's got fur markings on that could be mistake for camo? That Chewie hasn't been in an OT set so there's a good chance it's that. I think if anything a 'snowy' Chewie for Hoth would be good. Kind of like how Kubrick did it. ^ That'll teach me to not hit the submit button and post straight away! Edited January 20, 2015 by Robianco Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 That is the trouble with the London Toy Fair. The inability to take photos causes us all to rely on verbal and written descriptions of what the invited guests saw. Someone who is not completely familiar with all of the characters could give a less than accurate description. Also, they might not remember everything. So far, no surprises with the two OT sets, but the real questions remain unanswered. Who else is in Tyderium? Who do we get in the Final Duel besides the obvious minifigs? Quote
Nom Carver Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I have some questions for those who will be there, what kind of cockpit will the Tyderium have? what are its dimensions? how many minifigs does it fit? Quote
darththeling Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 So the Gizinti-class imperial cruiser confirmed but the TIEs are mini-scale. That's kind of too bad... although at real System-scale for minifigs the carrier would be gigantic, so it's not really all that surprising. Just great to have a new Imperial capital ship! Quote
Pulp Detective Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Not trying to rant here but seriously...couldn't they atleast give a better description on what minifigs we're getting??? I mean there is a huge fan base out there waiting for news and this is what they give us?? Edited January 20, 2015 by LOTR34 Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Interesting info on the Imperial Assault Carrier. With 4 mini Tie Fighters that are bigger than the polybag version, I'm expecting the set itself to be fairly large. We'll see. Quote
The Kid Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 To add to the Brick Fanatics report... The Final Duel set includes the Emperor, Luke, Vader and two Royal Guards. Vader has a new two-piece helmet - it's similar to the current one except with a neck brace. The Shuttle includes Han (trenchcoat will be printed by the looks of it), Leia (with poncho), Chewbacca (didn't notice any differences or 'camo') and two Endor rebels. The Assault Carrier includes Agent Kallus (hair, not helmet), two TIE Pilots, a green Astro, an Imperial Officer and Sabine (with helmet). Quote
Arkanta974 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) The Assault Carrier includes Agent Kallus (hair, not helmet), two TIE Pilots, a green Astro, an Imperial Officer and Sabine (with helmet). Well play Lego, well play... Sadly no stormtrooper or scout trooper for the lambda, hope Lego will bring a new at-st and more troops. Edited January 20, 2015 by Arkanta974 Quote
GallardoLU Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Will we see pics? yes, eventually, the real question is "will we see pics in the next few days?" (im betting no) Quote
arc Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Will we see pics? pics aren't allowed at London toy fair, we might see some from Germany next week though. The shuttle is pretty interesting, so is the final duel. I liked Palpatine arrest, so this will be nice I think. And the kid, would you happen to know who came with the flash speeder? Quote

It looks like I'll need all of these. Too bad there's no stormtroopers... The astromech sounds nice, and so does Vader. The printed cape is sad, but what I accepted. I can't wait for Sabine, which means I might not need those awful speeder bikes... Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Terrific, Sabine's helmet comes in a huge set. Nobody saw that one coming Sounds like the Tyderium and Final Duel will pair nicely for anybody interested in getting most of the main OT characters. That's nice at least. Looking forward to seeing how they did a regular-scale shuttle this time around. Quote

BrickSev Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Very promising news. Honestly I don't know if the next movie will be great or will ruin the sage but I can't complain about Lego SW sets Quote

Looking forward to seeing how they did a regular-scale shuttle this time around. The Shuttle looked very decent for the few seconds I saw it. My rep said that set and the Final Duel are being released to tie the original films to TFA. Sadly I didn't see the Flash Speeder's figures but it looked pretty substantial size-wise. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 ... and Sabine (with helmet). Yes!! The rest of the minifigs don't sound too exciting, but at least there's a whole bunch of brand-new minifigs coming in Fall Quote
Darth Lurtz Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Thanks The Kid for providing information on the upcoming sets! Does Leia have a new face print similar in style to Han and Luke? And is the imperial officer the same as the one in the Tie Advance Prototype? Sorry to bombard you with questions. Quote

Second: I'm disappointed reading this..... -I was hoping to get a new fig with the Tydirium (Orrimaarko for instance) but I knew there was a small chance that would happen. I was almost sure the set would include a new Leia, Han and Luke; all with Endor prints. Turns out TLG didn't take THE chance to make a new Luke Endor print (the only one there is is a yellow minifig! Yes, it's been THAT long!) I will still get the set (as I love the shuttle) but it's a small disappointment -Final duel: as I posted this morning, just like I expected: no new minifigs besides the Vader helmet. THE opportunity to make a Dignitary is wasted...... -Assault Carrier: Looks like a decent minifig selection, but.......in order to get a complete Kallus and Sabine I have to buy this expensive set AND 2 sets I don't really want? (the AT-DP and the speeder set) For the money they ask for this set they could've at least included Kallus' helmet and Sabines hairpiece. Boo! Hiss! PT sets don't interest me that much, so it looks like it might be (just like the current winter wave (I only got the T-16 and TroopTransport)) a cheap wave......here's hoping the Ep7 fall wave (and EchoBase) will be sets that pull the cash out of my wallet. hjmediastudios Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Mini-TIEs... These could either be ho-hum, or actually pretty decent if they're more Microfighter-styled ones you could fit a pilot in. Quote
