Not a chance The Inquisitor doesn't come back one way or another. The last thing he says is some things are worse than death, or something to that effect. He is foreshadowing his own horrible rebirth as a Frankenstein-type monster, much like Grevious and Vader. Palpatine loves to do this sort of thing. Plus, maybe whatever The Inquisitor's new form is may well last well into the scope of being featured in the Sequel Trilogy as well.

The question I'm wondering is, how long until we see The Inquisitor Mark II in an upcoming LEGO set on this board, the WOLF releases. Is he going to be gangley and spidery like Grevious or entombed like Vader? I imagine maybe he would look the same but he would always wear his flight helmet for the TIE advanced set to hide his disfigurements from plunging into the exploding engines.

Did anyone else who saw Fire Across The Galaxy think this?

I think the season finale also explains a bit why we get Sabine with that Imperial Troop Carrier set.

In an interview Dave Filoni said:

"An Inquisitor though, he says, there are some things far more frightening than death, which is an interesting thing for him that I’ll let people puzzle over what it means. It’s not accidental, the way he perishes. And he does perish. This isn’t me being sneaky or clever, having him fall off screen. I know that once Maul got cut in half, pretty much everyone was like, “He could be alive!” But I don’t see that happening. We felt it would have a big impact, obviously not just for the villains, but for Kanan to have this happen in front of his eyes."

he's dead Jim. He was just referring to the emporer. But we will see at least another inquisitor. Vader will most likely, present him and threaten him to do better than the last one.

I, for one, am VERY glad that we didn't get any vehicles/sets from the second half of season one. Just the minifigs alone could have quickly ruined the two big reveals in the finale. It's also funny to me that when the first leaks popped up that we'd be getting a Gozanti-class cruiser people howled that it didn't make any sense since it was shown so briefly...

And now that the finale has been aired. it's inclusion in the upcoming wave seems like a completely obvious and even necessary release.

Also: Thanks for the link to the Filoni interview.

When do we get to see this Sith Infiltrator I kept reading about? I keep coming back to check but the topic has transitioned to things that might or might not happen in Rebels.

Second this, what would be the earliest time we see a picture or more info about this set?

.....He fell into an exploding reactor, and the ship he was on blew up too. He seems pretty dead to me.....

I was just thinking, if we are getting a Watto figure in the sith infiltrator, could that mean we get a little shop for him too?

I mean otherwise it doesn't make sense, what is Watto doing in the sith infiltrator?

He's doing the same thing that Obi-Wan was doing in the last Podracers set, or Queen Amidala was doing in the Gungan Sub, or a Naboo security officer was doing in the MTT, etc etc etc. Either bumping up the price or providing an opportunity for people to have another cool minifig depending on your perspective.

Could the initial post be updated to include an image for each set for which we have a usable (decent quality and legit - not confidential, etc.) picture now? I see that there's a good picture that's apparently okay to post of the Death Star Final Duel; are there any more?

It's TLG's way of saying, "We are never going to make a Watto's Junkyard again, so here's Watto. Build a junkyard with your own pieces."

Hmmm... Well, not that I was really wanting a Watto's Junkyard, I would've thought they might've made another in the future...but I guess maybe not. Also, guys, have we seen any pics or a list of all the characters in the infiltrator yet?

As for characters it appears we are getting 4. Watto, Qui Gon Jinn, young Anakin and the big baddie himself, Darth Maul.

Apparently pictures have been shared but we are not allowed to share it, haven't seen it myself though. Would have personally enjoyed a Padme figure instead of Anakin as in order to (somewhat) complete your characters you're going to need to get the Naboo Starfighter for Obi-wan. Still missing Jar Jar and Captain Pancakes, but they're in relatively cheap sets.

Edit: Took out R2 because of updated information

Yeah, Watto's on the box, but no shop is shown. Might be a stand-in, but who knows. Others are R2, Darth Maul, Qui Gon, and Anakin as stated before.

Can you please post the picture of the box art or PM it to us?

Well, I think with all the other Star Wars sets being released June-September, I think I'll skip this infiltrator, because I just don't need one, and the only ships and soldiers I liked from Episode I were the Naboo guards and starfighters.

Posted

So why exactly are they making the Naboo Fighter and Sith Infiltrator again? Is there some kind of DVD/Blu ray release coming up? The last Naboo Starfighter 7877 was still available on my target website just last spring. Kind of a silly move in my opinion.

Completely agree, all those Episode I sets we keep getting every wave don’t make any sense! Ordinary remakes in a very short time span and nothing creative on the minifigure side either. I wished they could’ve given some attention to the other two PT movies before waves are dominated by the new movies.

I'm glad to be getting another chance at some of these Phantom Menace vehicles as I've missed out in the past but I will agree that the minifigure selection is odd and lazy. I mean getting Tarpals and some variations on Naboo personnel is great, but the the main characters are all pretty lazy.

I do think the AAT and Flash Speeder should have come in the same set, perhaps with an updated Kaadu. Now that would have been great. And Padme should have come in place of Obi-Wan in the Naboo Starfighter (Especially since he was just updated last year).

The Sith Infiltrator should have been the Royal Naboo Starship. The minifigure lineup could have even been the same except with the addition of a queen variation and possibly a handmaiden. There's really no reason they should be avoiding making this ship anymore.

I'm hoping that for the Qui-Gon in the Sith Infiltrator they use the new leg molding process to give him dual colored legs. I don't like the current printing for his legs much (Tan on brown doesn't look great plus there's no side leg printing) and I feel like that would be an improvement worth getting. Really that new molding process should really make all the Jedi tunics look a lot better on the legs.

I'd say one of the best years for LEGO Star Wars was 2013. Most of the sets were either brand new, or remakes that were desired (or, at the least, welcomed): Republic Gunship, AT-TE, A-Wing, Rancor Pit, etc....There were very few sets that were just lazy rehashes, or sets we were tired of seeing.

Honestly, I hope that we don't see any PT or OT sets next year; For 2016, I just want all Rebels and TFA. I need a break from Naboo Starfighters, and Jedi Interceptors, and Sith Infiltrators.....

There's really no reason they should be avoiding making this ship anymore.

Agreed. It would sell like crazy, since it is one of the few important ships that has never been done. And it's not like the pieces would be made of REAL silver, so....

Makes me wonder why they gave Anakin a different hairpiece. They did that on the prelim of the Naboo Starfighter too and it turned out to be the same hairpiece as they always use.

I know it's a long shot but I'm kind of hoping Watto is just a stand in for another character.

Yeah, Watto looks odd in this lineup; I too hope he’s a placeholder because he makes absolutely no sense to come with this ship. I know it was mentioned that Queen Amidala came with the Bongo before as an example of minifigs out of place, but she was a unique and brilliant figure, and the jedi went on the Bongo to save her after all. Watto however is just another minifig we already have and he has nothing to do with the Infiltrator or Darth Maul.

Unless Qui-gon comes with improved leg printing, this set looks like another useless release.
