Yeah... so that's another redundant minifig from the Naboo fighter set... that makes it a lot less appealing to get both sets.

And I don't see why R2 is needed in the Infiltrator.

While the Naboo fighter set is not well thought out, R2 makes sense. Still, the only good minifig from that set is the pilot.

I agree about the second R2-D2. I'm more annoyed by another Anakin, just received him the in the Naboo set as well. Could we not have had Shmi or another character? We have yet to have a Shmi mini-figure.

I could imagine that we will see a tusken raider camp at the coming winter wave. There was a short animation movie at the TLC youtube Channel which revealved a molded bantha. The new dewback was revealed on the same way. That would be a great opportunity to get Shmi in my opion.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but to be fair: Anakin also makes sense in the Infiltrator, as he was there when Maul first revealed himself. Imagine you would be new to Lego or come out of your dark age, and you want to buy a new set. You'd be disappointed without Anakin. Of course you'd also be disappointed of having him twice when you buy the Naboo fighter...

We can all agree that we could need more female characters as minifigs. And Shmi, while I would not be terribly intrested in her, is surely important.

Perhaps. Although I would not be comfortable with having Shmi in a Tusken themed set. You know...

(I have no problems if others are comfortable, though. I am not that guy. :classic: It is just my personal preference).

Oh man that is sad, RIP Christopher Lee.

In regards to the Infiltrator I think R2 and Anakin were odd choices at the least. Hopefully Padme will be in a future set.

Interesting. I guess there's a good chance to get a Kylo Ren ultra build fig, too. Not that I would by them, but...maybe one or two. At the most.

The helmet is wonderfully rendered.

Don't want to overly discuss this here as this is the wrong place to, but this looks a lot better than most of the Wave 1 sets. It's just a virtue of the bucket head instead of a human head.

Okay. So what else is going to be released at the same time as this figure in Jan 2016? Surely there will be news soon of the other 5 (?) figures?

Probably the best Constraction figure to date in my own opinion.

Between Hasbro, Anovos and Lego, I'm surely going to be in trouble when all this merchandise is released!

That would be very cool. Maybe it would include anikan with an improved hairpiece.

I must be getting old, but that looks awful! Mind you, I never liked anything Bionicle either, it's just doesn't have a LEGO feel about it somehow :look:

I agree with you. It's a little bit disappointing that the first official reveal for episode 7 is an ultrabuild rather than a regular set.

Why would they reveal a set six months before the movie? Disney could sue them if it revealed plot points. The design for the stormtroopers has already been revealed so this isn't a problem.

True, but couldn't they reveal Rey's speeder since it is featured in the trailer and will most likely contain characters seen in trailer.

Count Dooku aka Christopher Lee died at the age of 92 on June 7, 2015.

http://www.telegraph...ovie-roles.html

That is extremely sad. I only remember him as looking like Count Dooku. Just googled pictures of him recently, oh my jeese he had aged! I never even realised how much!

On another note,

@NNOPMOC, as far as I am aware, all the other figures have already been revealed apart from the Boba or Jango Fett (I can't remember which it is as I'm not keen on any of them apart from Grievous), so you should be able to find images floating around somewhere of the other 5... unless this is for the second wave?

Firstly, Christopher Lee was nearly 80 when he first appeared as Count Dooku in AotC, so I'd say he looked bloody good for his age.

And to your second point, I started a new thread about these figures nearly two weeks ago (before someone kindly(?) moved it into this thread) detailing all 6 figures in the first wave and asking for suggestions of what people would like to see in the next wave. Jango Fett has long since been revealed. So yes, this is a second wave figure. The image is clearly a rendering though, rather than a photo of the actual figure, so there may be some textural changes before the final release.

Those crap-figs should have their own thread.

Oh, and as to Duke's 'erudite' comment, see my point above (there was a seperate thread but someone moved it into here) - and there is another forum theme for Lego action (or "Constraction") figures of all types which already includes threads for Star Wars Constraction 2015 and the 2016 figures. So, as long as you stay here you are less likely to be offended. . . :hmpf_bad:
