According to Toy Ark the new Sith Inflitrator set will be retailing for a whopping... $94.99. Yes, that's the US price. I can't expect how high it'll be in other regions. Here is a link to some photos. http://news.toyark.c...tar-wars-164416 Thanks for the link. I could be wrong, but the top for the cockpit appears to be a placeholder as it bears absolutely no resemblance to the actual model....in fact it looks suspiciously like a TIE fighter windscreen! The RRP is ridiculous though, I'll only get it if I find it at a decent discount
July 10, 20159 yr Hasbro previewed one of their TFA toys at Comic Con. Hope rekindled to see a TFA LEGO set! The movie panel will start in less than one hour. Apparently, it's heavily focusing on Kylo Ren. I highly doubt that LEGO would connect this to their set reveal, but I'd love to see the leaked image in its actual form - and the Kylo Ren minifig!

What's interesting is the gun/antenna (?) on the left. Hopefully we'll see the Lego toy tomorrow! Thanks for the pic! The wing connections are different. Is that track for the gun to spin around on? That would make possible shooting anything above the horizon line of the ship. Would be a big advantage. Not sure an antenna would be needed on a short range fighter. And having something like that built into the wing might make more sense. Edited July 11, 20159 yr by Darth Punk
July 11, 20159 yr At SDCC One thing I'll say about the Sith Infiltrator is that in person, it's HUGE. Much bigger than I would have expected, closer to a Star Desriyer than a Tie Fighter. Whether that justifies the price point is not something for me to say. So far the only TFA stuff I've seen is Habro's 6 inch Stormtroopers and an enormous 26 inch new generation Tie Fighter for the 6inch scale figures that I found impressive in both scale and design. There is still a space for a Star Wars Lego reveal at the booth as of Fri afternoon. I'll try to post some pics when I can, hard enough to keep the phone charged. (In the meantime you can check out my Instagram @marksable and have permission to post the toys stuff there, just credit me) On 7/10/2015 at 9:30 PM, Lobot said: Thanks for the link. Here is fixed rey, The original fig looks like it has printing issues. *snip* The only thing I can tell you about what you are editing here, is that pad printing it like that would be very difficult. Here's why from my experience... When you print the legs (to go all the way up the leg and under the torso like they do here), the pad itself can't do it in the position you see here. The hips actually have to be rotated back to expose that part of the leg. Then they print the "crotch-part" lets call it, separately straight on. They won't be able to get that little part that one color as thoroughly or accurately as you did. You especially won't see that line towards the top of the middle "crotch" section - it's too high up and under the hip above to get in there. If LEGO did try to color that part, it will be somewhat like you have it, but not that clearly. I don't think they would do a whole separate print run for that part of the leg just for that, IMHO, not with all the other details they have done here (including side leg printing). BUt, it does look cleaner. Anyway, just thought I'd share my perspective on that. Also, while I was disappointed to hear the rumors were true, that there was no new clips or teaser trailers at SDCC Panel, it was cool that they posted that video of behind the scenes stuff. It still got me jazzed to see it, even more...and with the sets being revealed in the next month or so, it's just enough to keep my appetite whet for the trailer in Sept/Oct. If you haven't seen the behind the scenes video yet, check it out here: http://www.starwars....-panel-liveblog Edited July 11, 20159 yr by Lobot Please don't quote images :-)

July 11, 20159 yr I don't get it either. Judging by the set names, there's nothing these sets could spoil apart from three main characters we have yet to see (we got pictures of Lupita Nyong'o and Andy Serkis in their mo-cap suits but that obviously doesn't count ). Even if every single set contained a yet unknown character (which is doubtful), they could simply leave it out like they did with the BvS Batmobil and present the spoiler-free parts of the set Besides, Hasbro has revealed a TIE fighter model today, so what's holding TLG back?

That was my confusion, as well. Other toy companies seemed to at least have SOMETHING new. LEGO didn't bring anything new, even for other themes. Everything they showed off at SDCC was previously revealed in an official manner beforehand. For example, we saw the First Order Stormtrooper constraction figure A MONTH AGO. What a huge letdown. I guess all that's left to wonder now is when we'll actually see these sets. D23 is coming up in August, but they generally don't do major product reveals at that convention.
July 11, 20159 yr Have you guys noticed how the these exclusive mini builds are centered around Luke? Tatooine and Dagobah... No concrete proof but I would like to say NYCC will have an episode 6 mini build around Luke again, possibly the Jabba scene in the beginning with a sail barge mini build

July 12, 20159 yr Quote Have you guys noticed how the these exclusive mini builds are centered around Luke? Luke is basically the main hero of he OT, no matter how much some fans like to believe it to be Han.
July 12, 20159 yr I thought Vader was the hero? Cleaned out the corrupt Jedi, launched a massive jobs programme (building the Death Star), invested in defence and cracked down on terrorists. He'd be a Republican hero! Anyway, no new TFA sets shown. Shame, we need something to get excited about - so far a black TIE fighter and an X Wing arent really all I'd hoped for from a NEW trilogy...

July 12, 20159 yr The First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter is confirmed to have two seats, as seen in That explains the piece count & price on LEGO's version. Pretty excited to see how they handle this one.
July 12, 20159 yr Thanks for sharing! I'm really looking forward to seeing people's MOCs once the battle packs are released! And I'm hoping for a custom cape for Cpt. Phasma - instead of a simple black one.

July 12, 20159 yr Pretty exciting stuff. Glad SOMEONE delivered something cool today, because LEGO sure didn't. The moulding on the TIE Pilot's helmet is fantastic.

July 12, 20159 yr I cannot wait to amass an army of The First Order, they just look fantastic. Especially loving the pilots helmet! I've always wanted LEGO to incorporate the tubing on the helmets and they've finally done it!
