New Leaks!

Welcome to the board! Obviously you're excited, but you're a few pages late for these 'new' leaks (but at least it's still the same day!)

Also, regarding Leia... she'll probably be in the 2nd wave of sets if that list of figures for each set is accurate. Perhaps Luke will as well! And technically we DID see Luke in the 2nd teaser, briefly, with his hood hiding his face.

Does anyone else think its a little odd that Rey doesn't have her staff thing? I'm guessing it'll be in the speeder set, but still, I thought it was her primary weapon, not a blaster.

.... Shame that there's so few regular Stormies, but I'm guessing we're in for some really great First Order and Resistance BPs in the new year.

I'm sure that we will see Stormtrooper battle-packs in January as well as Resistance ones to make up for the lack of them in this wave.

Don't forget Series 3 Microfighters which should hit Jan 2016 for more Stormtrooper and pilot minifigs, but that's 2016 and getting off topic.

I don't care about minifig movie accuracy as much as others but as I'm combing over these images is this the first time we've seen Ep VII Han's legs. Black pants, brown jacket. And I thought he was supposed to have a long jacket but no extra printing on the legs. I don't care either way I just find it interesting.

And you know those Kanjiklub guys are space pirates because well..... pirate guns ;)

I hadn't seen this so thank you for the (somewhat hard to understand minifig wise) info. Sad that we only get 2 new stormtroopers out of all these sets but i guess the variety of different troopers is pretty cool. I do hope for battle pack next wave so i can walk into my local retailer, grab all of those, and disappoint children and adults alike because "you snooze you loose."

Just noticed the X Wing's wing mechanism is totally different.. The crank to open the wings is on top of the model rather than the back. I'm interested to see how that is designed and can't wait to get my hands on the canopy piece!

Eh, not a fan of the new Falcon. Seems almost identical to the one from a few years ago which I have sitting on my shelf. I know it's the same ship, but maybe change it up some more to differentiate from the old one. I do like Chewies crossbow and I will probably buy Old Han Solo on Bricklink.

I actually don't have a problem with how BB-8 was depicted in minifig form. I honestly can't think of another way Lego could have made him.

I think the bottom stud looks out of place. I'd have preferred to have a little hole* in the bottom sphere, which could then be connected to a single stud.

*somebody may know the proper term for it --> opposite of a stud, pretty much :sweet:

The wings could look really weird when closed. You can see a groove at the bottom wing's back edge, in which the top wing will probably fit. In a closed position, we'll see the underside of the bottom wing and stud side of the top wing as one surface.

Just noticed that the rear stabilisers on the Falcon look much better (imo) in the 2011 model, compared with the new one. I wonder why this was changed for the worse. Has anybody owning the 2011 Falcon an idea if there were any problems with those flat triangular pieces? On the other hand, the front 'mandibles' are dramatically improved by having those hollow round pieces and textured slopes.

The other obvious difference is that the middle canon is one stud lower, which gives it a sleeker, more accurate look to the movie model, I think.

Han having a long jacket was just concept art. I'm pretty sure the SDCC footage shows he has a TESB style jacket.

I doubt that minifig list is fake. The only reason I'd be disappointed with it is if Finn and BB-8 aren't in Rey's Speeder. Of course I haven't seen the film so the character on the list might be important enough to that scene, but it would have been nice to get the main character of a movie for $20 instead of $150.

I like Chewie's bowcaster, I'm tired of the medieval crossbow with the arrow, but I hope it will look fine w/o the stud and lever.

I'm surprised LEGO made the stealth X-Wing instead of the white and blue version, but the black one might be pretty important in a different way from the rumors I've read. I like the Resistance Ground Crew. Their helmet might be on the Soldiers in the FO Transporter since it's unlikely there will be a new mold in one set for a minor character in a new movie.

I've read speculation that the Kanjiklub Gang is in possession of the Faclon at the start of the movie, hich makes more sense than other pirate factions since the box art portrays them as antagonists.

I will hopefully get the X-Wing by the end of the year, but I probably won't get the Milennium Falcon right away since I recently received the 2011 version. I'm looking forward to the other five sets being leaked or revealed soon, since they will be released in only 51 days.

It's a real shame Kylo Ren comes in the only set I don't wish to get, but given how prominent he appears to be, it's to say he'll appear in the winter wave.

I'm really sold by the X Wing colour scheme, and the minifigures are a nice bonus, meaning it's gone from a set I probably wouldn't get to a set I probably will get.

I will definitely get the Falcon set, as I never got the 2011 variant. The munifigures are also nice additions, although none of them completely blow me away.

The First Order transporter has always attracted my interest, and the selection of minifigures seem very interesting.

I look forward to seeing Kylo Ren the most, as it's possible his hood and mask are both one peice, which could look pretty awesome.

I can't seem to find a pic of the new Falcon, either the message content is removed or the link links to a 404 page. Someone has a mirror?

http://lego.gizmodo.com/the-force-awakens-lego-images-reveal-a-fancy-x-wing-and-1718034979 Here you go!

And another discovery, although I am unsure of how reliable this info is: http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/En_Burtt

It seems this is the identity of the masked red creature from the BTS reel. Hope he makes it into the next wave of TFA sets. :sweet:

Small thing I've noticed, the Falcon's headlights have gone from clear to red.

My 2011 Falcon is fine. I think the interior may swing it for me. I'm almost caught up on the OT sets I'm after, just the Cantina, Shuttle and Sandcrawler to go. As Lotr/ Hobbit has ended, and assuming I like the new films, I'm looking forward to getting these sets :)

I don't really understand why the clear has been replaced with red. I suppose it adds contrast, but I might change it to clear for accuracy. Obviously, I don't know if the movie version has undergone more modifications warranting the colour change.

I'm also completely going to Star Wars after the end of Lord of the Rings. I hope to sell my Hobbit sets (I was so disappointed by the last movie that it spoiled the entire trilogy for me) with the exception of Bag End. Hopefully, that will get me some coins to buy Episode VII sets! :classic:

It might be just me but after comparing the new with the old Falcon, it seems that the new one is a lot more flat on the top. The opening panels on the older one seemed to be angled up a bit more. On the contrary, the result might be that the interior might be even lower now. Anyone else seeing this?

Well, that certainly is a nice amount of gang members, but who is this BB-1 you speak of? I've never heard of that droid before. Is it BB-8's little brother?

Wow, great new pictures and info! Thanks to those who provided them! :sweet::thumbup:

Loving the new Millenium Falcon, especially the minifigs,

I never had a MF before, but I might be getting this one :purrr:

Some of those First Order sets sound really great too, can't wait for more details and pictures

Mitch

Yes, it has been mentioned a few times. :classic:

Oh dear, sorry for that. I think it looks great and the angle on the box displays that pretty well. I'll wait for more pictures but right now the Falcon looks impressive. It might be the one E7 set to get for me.

No reason to apologise! And I certainly didn't mean to offend you - sorry if you misread my comment as such! I'm really looking forward to seeing the interior. If I remember correctly, the new set contains 80 or so more pieces than the last version. I don't think there are that many more used in the exterior, so I'm really hoping for plenty of detail inside.
