All we really know is that there is a chance we'll get two seats facing back-to-back like the snowspeeder... gunner and pilot. That feature could certainly be an argument for needing more bricks...

Not just a chance, it's completely certain at this point.

Hasbro's toy confirmed that the Special Forces TIE Fighter has two seats, back to back.

Wow this thread moves fast. But I have to say:

Love that quote! And it completely fits me and my attitude towards Lucas and Disney right now. :hmpf_bad:

To be fair, tho, had George not sold the company but still turned it over to Kennedy to run, to create more films, they still would've nixed the EU. It was Kennedy's decision ultimately, not Disney's, tho the reasoning might be the same for either entity: to more easily facilitate creative freedom in telling stories set beyond ROTJ.

Of course, many think--and perhaps it's actually true--that George only wrote treatments for the sequels to help entice Disney to buy the property. Had he not wanted to sell, he may not have wanted sequels at all and the EU could've continued on the same course for awhile longer...

Hey, I don't know hiw relevent this is but this season Epi 7 Battle Pack, don't know if this for Episode 7 or not, but if it is this confirms battle packs

Resistance troopers? Extra Ground Crew and pilots? Hmm...

There's two "Resistance" (that name is the only thing I dislike about TFA so far) troopers in the First Order Transporter, so there'll probably be at least two in the battlepack. Then maybe a generic X Wing pilot and ground crew so it complements two sets, or more if there is a resistance base playset somewhere along the pipeline.

How trustworthy is this site? Although I don't doubt there's going to be a "hero" battlepack, it could just be an educated guess to attract more readers, as no one would be able to prove them wrong if a set following that description was to be revealed - "hero battle pack" is pretty generic.

I'm just taking this news with a pinch of salt as I haven't come across this website before and have no idea what their source is.

I mean the sign has always worked for me to track down sets at Targets, but it seems abit odd there would be a Ep. 7 set on there tht has never been heard of unless there are retail excusives. But new star wars sets past what we know about won't come out until Jan 2016

That helmet.....I can't even....

....Where does he see out of? Nothing on the helmet looks like a visor, or opening, or anything....And Stormtroopers had bad aim to begin with.

Compared to the troopers hes got a way better view out of his helmet.

I think it looks cool because it mixes the aspect of a militarizable suit (meaning you can imagine seeing them on the battlefield rather than just behind the computers and controls) while also satisfying the need for having a basic ground crew person. I never liked the plain grey uniformed Imperial crew because I had a tough time imagining that the Emperor or Vader would've ordered them to fight, and would've rather just killed them if the didn't like them.

Perhaps once we see them in action and how they interact with the other characters once the film is out, people will have a change of opinion.

That picture is just a cropped version of the last picture. While the figure may or may not change, this doesn't give us anymore information on the figure, being it's just the same picture.

So are all these NO mini figures legit Lego or are they knockoffs made in Siberia? If they are indeed legit, how are the sellers getting their hands on them and selling without Lego swinging the legal hammer down on them.

The First Order Ground Crew has showed up on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/...=item2ee3e95ace

Like it or not, seems this is the way we'll get the figure when the sets hit shelves.

EDIT: Actually looking at the picture closely, it's the exact same picture of the figure we saw before. Not sure what to think

I've been biting my tongue for a while now, but no more, I'm afraid.

I'm surprised this seller (those sellers) hasn't been reported to eBay for dealling in what are clearly stolen goods.

And I personally would take a dim view of anyone who bought those items. In the UK, receiving stolen goods (whether knowingly or not) is an offence, as I am sure it is in the US and elsewhere. It supports and encourages criminal activity, and like car insurance, the more often it is abused the more likely the premiums go up. So while you are contemplating getting your $12.99 figures a few months early and at the same time bleating on about the price of the new sets, you might want to consider the math. In January you can spend $19.99 or less and probably end up with four figures and a vehicle . . . *rolls eyes* . . . and with only about 10 weeks to go you can buy these same figures, guilt free. So go ahead and proudly display your stolen goods . . . and have a think about if someone stole from you then posted images of their gains to people you think of as valued clients.

The pictures the ebay seller is using are the ones I posted on saturday. He's probably just a scammer.

If he was a new seller then I might agree but with feedback of nearly 10,000 I'd say he's got them.

There are always leaked figures available on Taobao in China so I'd say there may have been a mass leak of EPVII figures... Quite how this many have made the rounds I'm not sure. I'm also surprised Lego hasn't shut the auction listings down which is the only question mark I have around their legitimacy.

They're certainly well done if they are indeed fake.

Are the force awakens sets due to be released on the 4th September? I they are I can't see the design of the figures changing at all now.

Yes the Lego sets will be released on Force Friday along with other TFA merchandise. The designs won't change much as confirmed by the leaked Rey matching the same minifig on the Falcon box art.

I don't think it looks nearly as bad as everyone is saying here... I guess the combination of those two helmets is putting people off,

but at least it's reminiscent of and similar to something we've seen before. I kinda like it, and I'll probably warm up to it even more after seeing the movie.

The only thing I'm not overly fond of is the lack of leg printing of any kind. It would've been nice to see a wrinkled-pants pattern or something like that. Oh well!

We should be seeing official shots in the next few weeks then. I can't wait to see what the first order sets will look like.

Hey guys, I've been self-exiled from this thread for a while as I really do not want to be Ep. VII -spoiled to death.

One question though: we are nearing end-July and there is absolutely no mention of the upcoming Hoth Base, how is that possible?

For a set that's due out in November, it's very hard to believe not a single prelim pic has leaked...

Because its supposed to be the next Shop@Home exclusive. Sets sold directly through Lego VERY rarely ever get leaked pictures. Its only the ones that are part of the regular retail wave or are exclusive to stores like Toys R Us and Target. There is a nice animated video on Lego's website that gives a nice preview of what to expect. You can watch it here (titled Battle of Hoth)
