I think he means that. Now it'll be available in something under $50, so that might have an effect on the aftermarket prices (which can only be a good thing). I know we got Rebels Stormies in a nice cheap BP, but it'd be great to revisit OT Stormies in a similar setting... but we'll probably see First Order stormies (or Snowtroopers or Flametroopers) in BPs before that ever happens.

Yeah, that is indeed what I meant. I'm just hoping to see it get closer to the $2 price mark, like the TIE Fighter pilot.

I'm not sure, but look what i found...

You're late, unless you mean you've bought those sets, but if not, those pictures have been out for a while now.

The Hoth set hasn't even been unveiled and yet judgment on the size of the set is already made

I'm basing my judgement on the video alone, because this is the only potential 'leak' I have seen since the news was announced months ago. Whether you call it UCS or not, The Ewok village captures what i would expect from a play set that Lego are probably going to ask £200 for. From what I saw in the video (if it is the new set) I will be paying again for a rehash of all the Hoth sets I already own. That is where my disappointment comes from, its not the size that annoys me...

Extremely excited about the upcoming Hoth playset. When and where would the official photos of the set would be published, or an exibit? I can't wait to know what the set would include.

Exactly. A large UCS/D2C playset should offer something that couldn't/wouldn't be done as a collection of smaller sets.

Really? You judge Hoth set even though you haven't seen it yet?

I am basing my decision on the Lego video that contains some recognisable previously released sets, combined with some obvious new Hoth features and characters. It seems like a lot of effort to create these new items and figures just for a short video. I HOPE this isn't the claimed 'UCS Hoth' set due for release in October, I fear it shows the bulk of it though

As mentioned from the leaked exclusive list of 2015, Hoth base has an October release. Based on this years trends with unveiling a month before you could buy the set, you may see the set in the flesh by September.

This is an absolute "must have" for me.

But I may wait the one month since October usually means double VIP points.

Fingers crossed that the launch date is in line with the double VIP points :-D

Sure would be nice but since release is September 4th and there's only one huge shipment of merchandise I'm not sure if it's worth waiting for October VIP double points. It's definitely something to think about.

I don't really know if this has been talked about yet, so im sorry if this is a repeat comment, but it looks as thought the spring-loaded missiles on the Falcon are activated by pressing inside the access ports on the forward mandibles.

I cant tell if the missile tail would be visible from the top, or if there would be a plate between your finger and the projectile. Again, this may not be news to anyone but i just noticed and thought it was a very interesting way to implement those ports that before have (on recent millennium falcons) been identified using only stickers.

They're talking about the Battle of Hoth set, not the Episode VII ones.

I noticed that too. I think its a nice feature that doesn't take away from the appearance of the build.

It also looks like the cone pieces used for the Falcon's cockpit are slightly longer than the ones used on the 2011 version and the minifigures are sitting a bit further forward. Maybe the new Chewbacca might be able to fit in the new one after all?

Though it does appear to be that way, this is incorrect. The cockpit piece appears longer because the photo of the box was taken at a low angle. The cockpit piece is the same one. If lego bothered to change it or make a new piece for the cockpit, they would have made a shorter and more accurate looking one. I agree that in the photo it does look slightly longer but it is just an optical illusion due to the angle the picture was taken at.

I had come to the same conclusion.

I have the 2011 MF, but it's still in it's box, so I would really like to have a minifigure scale MF on display. It looks like the Ep VII MF will be the one for me!

Where did you hear this from? If pictures actually have leaked, they're not circulating very well.

I've checked every place I can think of.

I find peculiar this advant calendar's box doesn't show anything related to The Force Awakens as the movie will be released just a week before christmas.

The only place I can think of where a "Kylo Ren minifigure" got leaked was from a custom that was put on Ebay. Maybe there's also something official that was leaked? However, it's very unlikely.
