Bandit778 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Evening all, newbie here, Have been reading these discussions with interest for a while now and while I am as interested in the new sets as anyone, being a cynical sort, I do wonder if when the sale of Lucas Film to Disney happened, certain embargos were placed on any licences that were transferred over. If the possibility of losing the licence if certain contractual obligations were not enforced I can fully understand why TLG an any other licence holders are keeping a lid on things. Quote
benderisgreat Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 So is the set that Phasma comes in even worth it? I think it's worth it. The ship looks a bit blocky but pretty cool, and the minifigures are the best part of that set. This set is my number 1 purchase on September 4. Quote
Koenta Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) On this Dutch side you can already pre-order all the TFA sets. They also put all the pictures off the back of the boxes on there side. *snip* Sorry for the link, I apologize Edited August 21, 2015 by Koenta : Link removed to images of new sets Quote

HawkLord Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 It's all a small price to pay to maintain the great relationship Eurobricks has with Lego. I wouldn't want to jeopardize that because of two weeks. Quote
bountybossk Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 So it's confirmed... The bad guy's ship's wings don't tilt like we've seen in the trailer. However, I still really like the design and I'm definitely going to get this set. Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Looks like the interior of that ship isn't that different from the previous version. A little more detailed is all. Darn. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) Looks like the interior of that ship isn't that different from the previous version. A little more detailed is all. Darn. Nor is a hairy thing supposed to be at the front, which might answer some peoples questions. Edited August 21, 2015 by Fuppylodders Quote
fire117 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Looks like the interior of that ship isn't that different from the previous version. A little more detailed is all. Darn. I'll still be getting it myself. What is the release date for TFA lego sets in Europe? Does anyone know. Quote
bountybossk Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 And! Our main bad guy wears a mask below his mask! Quote
Nokturn Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 And! Our main bad guy wears a mask below his mask! This is incredible. I had a sneaking suspicion that was the case, and now it's finally confirmed. Quote
Teh Stud Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 And nobody is forcing you to try and take charge of the Star Wars moderating team. Just because we can't discuss TFA sets doesn't mean the thread has to close, we still have the echo base and Advent Calendar that can be discussed. What was I moderating? I was simply stating an opinion. I'm allowed to do that. Quote
Koenta Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Looks like the interior of that ship isn't that different from the previous version. A little more detailed is all. Darn. The seats are different and the roof gun is flatter, the beds are a bit different. Also the cockpit is one brick hight shorter. And the "motor" Part has more detail. That's it from what I can see from the pictures. I'm wondering if the bottom looks the same as the 7965 Quote
Lego Fett Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) I told you ren had a mask under the mask. Also, that falcon looks like a big improvement over the old one, despite what most people say. It captures the look with the darker colors. Edited August 21, 2015 by Lego Fett Quote
Jay_Em Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Guess I'm too late for the link to the website that definitely doesn't show the back of the Force Awakens sets? Quote

Brickdoctor Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 [snip] No point in a rumor thread when discussing rumors isn't allowed. The existence of a topic does not mean that you are obligated to post in it, nor does it mean that you may discuss its subject however you like. We've had plenty of limitations on what you may post in a rumors topic in the past; this is just a farther-reaching restriction than before. That's crap. I'm going to keep talking about the sets. Then we will remove from your posts any information which TLG has requested not be shared, and we will have a chat with you if you persist. Make no mistake; we're not going to punish anyone for accidentally letting something slip or for discussing something in a grey area which TLG later requests we avoid, but blatantly ignoring the rules of this topic or of EB will not be tolerated. JimCanuck Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Edit by Hinckley: How many times must we request that this information not be posted? I apologize ahead of time but I'm going to start suspending the posting of member who post this info until the point is clear to all. Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I thought the Jedi Interceptor was a 2016 set... Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I thought the Jedi Interceptor was a 2016 set... A surprise set for 2015? Or maybe they wanted to release it this year, but they pushed it back. Quote
YellowCorvette Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Info removed by Hinckley Wow,that's pretty expensive!Far more expensive than the official prices! Quote
StarWars8Spoiler Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) Heads up, a certain Protocol Droid polybag based on a certain upcoming Star Wars movie has been revealed. Check out Hothbricks. Edited August 21, 2015 by ChristopherLee Quote
JimCanuck Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Canadian dollars, are weaker then the American Dollar. Also, the Jedi Interceptor set price was there as a new addition. I am thinking the 2016 rumor is wrong. Jim Quote
