Fuppylodders Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I think those helmets look pretty cool. I look forward to seeing what TLG do with regards to future moulds... Quote
ChiefPie Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 So is Anakin's custom starfighter from the clone wars then? im kinda thinking yoda chronicles Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 ^Possible, but unlikely. The New Yoda Chronicles is Imperial Era, so "Anakin" still makes no sense. Quote

Galactic13 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 It may be something where you can change the starfighter to the different starfighters seen in either the Clone Wars or the Prequels for the Jedi. Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 ^What? With all due respect, that makes absolutely no sense. Do they include something like, "Change the ARC-170 into a V-Wing?" Maybe I just don't understand what you mean, so please elaborate. And Jedi-Bendu, that is actually a very good observation. Bravo....so now that they are confirmed real, I am going to just sit back for a second and EXPLODE!! Quote
Galactic13 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I mean like have different colored parts that all fit on the same body for the same starfighter. E.g. a Delta 7 starfighter set that comes with different colored parts to make Obi-Wan's Delta 7 or say Plo Koon's starfighter but all fiting onto the same frame to make the fighter. Or to put it simply, a customizing Jedi starfighter set. Quote

It makes sense to me. We're not talking about completely different ships like your example. He means variants on similar ships, much like the 06 x-wing could be customized to be like either Wedge or Luke's version of the ship. Edited August 31, 2014 by Phil Slender Quote

Faefrost Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Various insiders/spies/sources also said that the Inquisitor would be the main villain in VII, and that the title will be The Ancient Fear. I don't believe anything from "a trustworthy source"; I don't even believe the new Stormtrooper helmets. The new helmets have been confirmed by enough people in the SW production to be legit. They just warn not to be too surprised. There are apparently a lot of new Helmets in different planets and environments and they claim we have not seen the "main" regular duty Stormtrooper'ish ones yet. The ones we have seen are real, they just may not be seen or used a lot on screen. Think of them as likely more like the Snowtrooper or Sandtroopers. Quote

But that idea actually sounds really cool. It can include red, green, blue, yellow, etc. But the only problem is that it is called "Anakin's Custom Starfighter". Therefore, it cannot be a total "make your own", it refers to one specific ship. Your idea is pretty cool, though. They should so do that....Sorry again! Quote
Galactic13 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 That's fine man. But the name may just refer to the fact that in the set Anakin is doing the customizing, and not necessarily his ship. Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Thanks for accepting my x1001 apology! But I doubt it would be anything like that, like including an Anakin minifigure and the box just saying "Build Something!" It is possible, though, because the images of Minecraft sets do say, in basic terms, "Build Something": their customizable and contain generic minifigures. So your idea may be right....and if so, that would be EPIC! I have always wanted a blue interceptor, and a red one, and green, and purple, and orange, and black and white and clear and neon and glow in the dark and.....and.....I like interceptors. Quote
Venkefedo Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I've stopped trying to make sense of anything, it makes life so much easier. LEGO surprised us with Darth Revan after the EU was kicked to the curb. I think that this just shows us that LEGO isn't under Disney's restrictions to storytelling. It would make sense since kids don't understand all of this. They just know that there's movies and cartoons. When they see these things, it becomes their reality. It just can't all be deleted. True... And I'm still holding onto some hope that KOTOR/TOR will become canon again. Very little in it would interfere with anything from the movies/shows, and the only Yuuzhan Vong reference was so obscure & vague that it could easily be a loose plot thread that may have amounted to nothing, of been resolved anytime in the time between KOTOR & TOR or TOR & TPM. Oh, sorry Galactic 13. I thought that you meant you can make different models of ships. Sorry x1000 man! But that idea actually sounds really cool. Your idea is pretty cool, though. They should so do that....Sorry again! In ROTS, Anakin flies two different Eta-2 JSFs, but both were released in the last few years... Perhaps it'll be a TCW-style Delta in yellow and maybe the Plo/Azure Angel blue? That'd make more sense than bringing up the Microseries again. Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 When do we get the leaked images; I'm dying here!! There are so many sets that we know so little about! I want to know everything about every set, especially the minifigures. This is all the fun of it, though: waiting for each piece of information, getting excited by every little leaked detail....I enjoy it. Quote
AwesomeBantha Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 This is all the fun of it, though: waiting for each piece of information, getting excited by every little leaked detail....I enjoy it. Me too! I can't wait for the first leak! Other than Wookiee Gunship, which set do you think it'll be? And which sets will be exclusives? Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Well, first on my agenda is the T-16. I want to know how they do the Tuskens, and if it will include a Bantha, or a piece of the homestead instead (with BERU!!!!!!!!). They could do a piece of the garage, or the outside entrance, or just a Bantha with mini-ball joints. No matter what, I'll at least be happy with a Tusken. Also, what do we think will be the exclusive sets? I am hoping SO MUCH for a set with Boga: mini-ball joints, Commander Cody, and I don't care what else. Throw in some crayons and laundry detergent, I don't care. I want Boga, and I want Cody, and I want it NOW!! I also hope for the big exclusive to be Amidala's Starship, or the Slave I. Quote
Galactic13 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I think that some of these sets are just to stall for Episode 7. Apart from the Rebels sets, some of the sets are vehicles that only hard-core fans would know, like the T-16 and Shadowtroopers. And I thought that the Swadowtroops were Legends now? That set was not grouped with the Rebels sets so it must be from the EU. Now I love Shadowtroopers but I find it odd that they would bring these guys back after they were pronounced Legends. Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Agreed. All of these sets are because they have to deal with a TV show that they don't know yet how successful it will be, a defunct series that has lost popularity, most canon thrown out the window, and upcoming movies. The only sets they can do are ones from the movies, and most of them have already done, so what they're left with is obscure things: T-16, Shadowtroopers, etc. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Tusksans yes, Beru no. Don't thin it would add to the set, i'd prefer multiple tuskans with the T-16 pilot (either luke or a Biggs in a tosche station outfit). Quote

I really liked this design as the main Stormtrooper helmet! Edited September 1, 2014 by VK-318 Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 But come on....it would be so easy to include a piece of the homestead. And they still haven't released a fairly major female character: they release Shaak Ti, and Oola, and Aayla, and even Barriss Offee, who got like 10 seconds of screen time, yet we don't get Luke's aunt? That is messed up. They could have put her in the Sandcrawler, or the previous one, or any of the landspeeders, but instead, we get characters like Oola appearing in sets. If there was one character that I thought would never be made into Lego, it is Oola. Quote

From my understanding, the exclusive retailer sets were the hailfire droid and anakin's starship. That's why hulk_smash never mentioned them, because he didn't see them in the catalogue Quote
Daimar Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Regarding Anakins custom starfighter; as far as I know there was a toy named "Anakin Skywalkers modified starfighter"http://gofigureactionfigures.com/media/anakinskywalkersmodifiedjedistarfighter-tcw.jpg for the clone wars toyline, but the starfighter itself never showed up in the series. Is it possible that if it exist in the regular toylines (actionfigures, starships, ...) that it can also exist in LEGO? Quote
