punkkid364 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Bought the shuttle when my local Target opened at 8. Haven't had a chance to crack it open yet, though. Quote
Squarefoot_Calrissian Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Just got back from the LEGO store and they had plenty of TFA sets. I was worried all day at work that I missed out and the sets would be sold out! I picked up Rey's speeder and Poe's X-Wing! If you're in Southern California and don't feel like using shop @ home then go to your nearest LEGO store and I'm sure you'll find what your looking for! Quote
StarWars8Spoiler Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 My Force Friday haul included Rey's Speeder and Kylo Ren's lightsaber. It's a shame I couldn't have bought more LEGO sets today, but after I get paid on Monday I'll be able to get the Snowspeeder and TIE Fighter. Quote
Nokturn Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) Just in case anyone's still in denial, it has been 100% confirmed by StarWars.com that the V-Shaped ship in the second teaser is, in fact, Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. So, my theory was correct all along. Moving on, my Force Friday haul was amazing. Picked up Kylo's Shuttle (obviously), Rey's Speeder, and the First Order Transporter! I was the first one in line, and literally only 10 more people showed up to the midnight launch. It was calm, and everyone got what they wanted. It went SO much better than I had expected. Guess I'll be doing things like that more often. Edited September 5, 2015 by Nokturn Quote
Vodnik Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I think there's some truth to what I was told actually - I think I recall somebody pointing out an error on the European version that stated there was an exclusive Darth Vader figure on the side, when it should say C-3PO. Yup, that would be me :) I received big thanks and some VIP points for reporting that early. And judging from what the nice lady from TLG told me on the phone, the sticker story sounds right. Quote
rollermonkey Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) I'm guessing there will be another release with a printed head eventually. I'm not sure they want to reveal the character yet. Then again, most fans have been following up with all of the information and spoilers. This is very strange, as one of the toys is a Phasma mask with pre-recorded dialogue, and it's clearly Gwendolyn Christie's voice. (It's not disguised or modulated in any way.) I can't get over what a ridiculous price the X-wing is... For $10 more, you get 81 more pieces in the transporter and FOUR more minifigs? That's insane. Edited September 5, 2015 by rollermonkey Quote

General Magma Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Seems like they had absolutely nothing for Force Friday in The Netherlands. Quote
Vodnik Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Seems like they had absolutely nothing for Force Friday in The Netherlands. Apparently Holland and Poland are too far from Denmark to get TFA sets in time... Quote
NNOPMOC Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Update to my message yesterday. For UK buyers - Tesco, for some reason, didn't list the new sets under the SW Lego page, but if you search for Star Wars Lego on Tesco Direct they magically appear . . . and they are included in the Clubcard Boost promotion! So if you have clubcard vouchers you can double these up (£5 + £10) to by new Lego TFA sets. Suddenly, picking up the MF for £65 of vouchers doesn't seem so bad. ;-) Quote

Sir von Lego Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Lucky you. I am living in spain right now and Toys R Us did have all the TFA sets available. Noone except me was buying so I could get Kylo Rens Command Shuttle, the troop transport, Reys Speeder, snowspeeder and General Grievous. I built all of them yesterday and by far the best one is the Command Shuttle! So much fun to build, nice minifigs and a really "swooshable" ship. MF, X-wing and also the TIE were overpriced here so my wife will pick them up today in Germany...(-; No other constraction figures were available, and no advent calendar. Greetings from Barcelona, Hendrik Quote
Lynx Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 If you're interested in the Transporter, you can see a high quality video on youtube by user "Janbricks". Quote
Mr Man Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) You don't like it? At least it still resembles the bow caster and has a fun play feature. Better than the new stud shooter guns that are super bulky and ugly. Also not sure if that's sarcasm, but no that's not Lando I had no problems with the old crossbow (besides the fact they used grey ones not black). I've been trying to keep away from most film rumours I just saw a darker fig with awesome facial hair and assumed Lando . Edited September 5, 2015 by Mr Man Quote
SonofTheShire Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Here's a look at Rey's Speeder! Thanks for the review! The set description mentions a detachable escape sled, but I haven't seen this in any reviews yet. Is there such a feature or is that a mistake in the description? Quote
1974 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 On the back of the box she's standing on a modified plate with a cheese on it. Laziest design ever, TLG Quote
Tariq j Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Nice to see the return of the old Indiana Jones Satchel though. Quote
benderisgreat Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I really like 2 sets I've got so far: Falcon and FO Transporter. Both have great features and look awesome. Lego did an amazing job on these sets. I'd go so far to call FA sets the best licensed line Lego has ever done. Gonna get 75099 and 75104 on Monday. Can't wait to add another 2 sets to my collection! I cannot agree. The transporter has nice minifigs included but the vehicle is awful.. Small, ugly and bulky (think that the "real" one will also look like this of course..(-;). Quote

Small, ugly and bulky (think that the "real" one will also look like this of course..(-;). I think that's what the transporter supposed to look like. The FO Transporter is work as a military infantry transporter, so I think the way the FO Transporter look like is actually make sense. Similar to the buildings design today, square and rectangle shaped buildings are more spacious when compared to buildings that have a curvy and round design. The FO Transporter is not designed to look sleek and cool, like the Nubian Royal Starship and T-70 X wing Starfighter, but designed to been able to carry many troops into battle as much as possible. The curvy and round design may make the Transporter looks cool, but it's not a space-effective choice for a troop transporting vehicles like this. Edited September 5, 2015 by ArmstrongYong Quote
Lego Fett Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 By the look of it, i love the transport. It has space, an awesome popup feature, pilot seats and a ramp. But i just love small compact sets that are smooth and dont let light it. Quote
kevkipo Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Seems like they had absolutely nothing for Force Friday in The Netherlands. Did you expect anything else? if you have the chance, take the trip to Antwerp (Belgium) all sets arrived at the Lego Store here Quote
