5) AT-DP is a pass; not interesting figs.

It's got two AT-DP pilots, Agent Kallus, and "___ Stormtrooper" (I really wanna know what that word is, and why that stormie is labeled differently than other stormies in the wave)

Also, look at the black-garbed Imperial leader in the AT=DP. He's carrying the same gunsaber as Purple Wookie Reject Guy!

Yeah, it's Agent Kallus, we've known he'd be in that set for awhile now.

I think the JSF and the Tie advance prototype will be 39.99$/euro and 29.99 in the USA ( like the snowspeeder this year) If not that is a ridiculous price upgrade because theses aren't 50$ sets. I would definitely NOT pay 50$ + tax for a starfighter and 3 minifigs.

This year Anakin's Interceptor had 223 pieces and 2 minifigs for 29.99$/euro

Saesee Tin's Interceptor had 244 but 3 minifigs for 39,99$/euro

So this winter starfighter (50$) must be at least 300+ pieces knowing it has 3 minis ( same thing for the tie advance prototype)

If not it is a total rip off because there hasn't been a 25% inflation since 2012...

Edit: price in Canada are the same as in Europe but in CAD $ ( and since our currency isn't strong we don't feel too riped off)

I really hope you're right, but those price lists haven't been wrong before...

These sets looks great... One thing of interest to me (and I know it's a small thing) but the off chance that the T-16 Pilot's helmet carries the insignia of the blast helmet Luke uses (that I mentioned in a previous post).

I know they're prelims and they use any helmet as a stand in but there does seem to be a design on each side of the helmet. If by some stroke of luck they did put that in we'd just be missing two Rebel Hero helmets for the OT.

I really like the ITT and that AT-AT might just be the cutest Microfighters set we'll see!

I hope Ventress is done in regular style and doesn't have the pupil style eyes... I'd be tempted to pick that up if so... I think she's a great character. Anyone with even the slightest hint of Anti-hero about them is OK with me.

I like the Microfighters snow speeder and fingers crossed it's Janson. AT-DP looks really nice too... interested to see how those figures turn out in the end but the model itself looks really nicely done.

Dark Troopers is a must... I laughed when I saw they had Gandalf's torso... must be hundreds of those lying round (even though it's CGI)! I liked the dark grey/light grey design on the helmets.

My pick up of the Rebels sets is pretty much based on how much I like the show and whether the characters resonate at all...

the shadowtroopers look really nice! I think I'll get this set when it's out.... The TIE is very meh... still it's a prelim but yeah ... not really looking that great. the microfighters ATAT is very cute tho...

I apologise I haven't been up to date with the recent leaks, but can anyone tell me whether we're getting a Zam Wesell minifigure or not? She's one of the few figures released in the Yellow-Faced style that hasn't been re-released yet.

Which is good, as Kallus has taken the weapon from another Purple Wookie he defeated in combat. I still think the weapon looks really bad in Lego form. Other than that, the AT-DP is my most favoured set: good walker and good minifigs. I like the AT-DP driver's design and I like Kallus' design. The mystery trooper cannot be so bad as to make me dislike the set.

Could it be some kind of ISB Stormtrooper, considering Kallus is an ISB officer? The differences to an actual Stormtrooper would be minor, if there are any at all.

That AAT is rather tiny, looks like they couldn't decide on making it a microfighter or a system set, so they went with both.

The pricing suggests a 200 piece set... these are small.

No. Sorry.

75075, 75074, 75081, 75087 and 75079 are definitely on my 'to buy'. 75080 though does look like an enlarged version of the mini AAT, but not a negative thing as such, but like the previous wave, the sets are looking smaller, yet in some way slightly more accurate to the movie counterpart than the previous version.

Though the other sets from this wave are a 'meh' for me in my opinion.

Looking at the art on the top of the snowspeeder box I am guessing it is this guy. I don't actually know who he is but the helmet is reused from one of the trench run Y-Wing pilots in ANH. This isn't one of the three helmets you are talking about but as far as I know it is another one that has never been done before by Lego.

…looks like I may change my mind about the Speeder set: if Miss Wren is included with her helmet I may get that one as well…hope to get it for € 20 max.

Skyhopper pilot is a disappointment. With a Tusken+ Bantha, Luke with his silly Tatooine hat and Biggs this set would have sold way better I think....(even though it would have been at least € 15/20+ more expensive)

ITT remains a must have.

TIE Advanced and the chickenwalker could be contenders…..maybe…Inquisitor looks cool....still, I think I'd get some OT sets (BL and in stores) I have missed.....

As said before: this wave will be a cheap one. Timing couldn’t be more perfect since in february 2015 Fantasy Flight Games will be releasing ‘Star Wars: Imperial Assault’: a boardgame that will cost me a fortune (thanks to it’s expansion sets).

That's not a bad shout! At least it seems unique even if it's an unnamed pilot.

We've not done too badly on the unique helmet front to be honest... especially considering Lego isn't an action figure brand. I'll always be hopeful of the remaining helmets though. I still can't believe we haven't had a Red Leader in any of the X-Wing sets we've had or Janson with any of the Snowspeeders as they've been plentiful but it's still nothing to complain about.

That Disney logo though...

I hate it so mush I almost forgot to look at the pictures.

Damn, I didn't want to collect those rebel sets, but some, like the AT-DP, look so good and fit perfectly with the OT that I can't pass it up.

Good thing I saved some extra money from a garage sale!!!

^Me. I said that. :classic:

Anyway, why aren't people liking the T-16? The first Tusken in 12 years, a womp rat, and a nice new pilot, not to mention an incredible T-16. Sure, we have no bantha, but did you skip out on the Sandcrawler because it doesn't have Beru? No. You just became mildly displeased.

Yeah, I noticed it too. I don't know how, but smaller is looking more accurate....

I am curious how they will do the Tusken in the T-16. An earlier version of it is simply a bald minifig head with printing. Perhaps this one will be molded? It seems like there have been a lot of new alien molds as of late. Either way, I think the Tusken Raider will be a big draw in this set. I would like to get one of these and maybe the Shadow Troopers BP. If ITT has OT stormies, that will probably warrant multiple purchases, but I am expecting the worst case scenario since it is a Rebels set.

I'm really digging all of the new battle-pack sets in this wave. The Shadow Troopers are an unexpected surprise, I like them a lot more than I thought I would. Senate Commandos, IIT, Geonosis Troopers, all look like they're going to end up in my collection.

Overall this looks like a pretty good wave.

One thought, is it me or are we missing the large sets? The ones that are $110+.

The large sets you refer to are never part of a winter wave, they are always released in the second half of the year. Stay tuned for July or August releases :classic:

Hey, I just noticed something. The ITT battle pack does not say "New" by the 1:1 minifigure. So, the Stormies are not new.

Also, look at some other sets. The Microfighter Homing Spider Droid says it has a new battle droid; same with the vulture droid. Also, the RGS says new clone pilot.......interesting.

Lastly, the hailfire droid says that the Lieutenant is "new". Does this mean leg printing on the givaway one? Or is this a new print and mold......

I think legprinting since they are using a Phase II placeholder?

You can see it with the microfighter laat/i, the clone pilot has a NEW tag on him, but the only thing you can see is the adding of legprinting.

LOL, I should have known that. Thanks!

Did the Rebels placeholder for the Stormtrooper in the Ghost not feature a 2012 Stormtrooper?

I wanted to throw this out. Surely, if the Stormies in the ITT were Rebels, would they not use the same placeholders?

I really hope you're right, but those price lists haven't been wrong before...

Someone said that last year AT-AP price got lowered between its showing at the comic con and its release.

If the ITT is regular stormies I'll buy 12 of them since I only have 3 stortrooper: 1 from 1999 and 2 from the new ISS

Also 3 of pretty much all the BPs, the ATT, the micros and the hailfire droid. (and maybe the azure angel if the price is right)

And even if I will probably end up watching the show, I really dislike the ships from the series so far. the Ghost and the Phantom were horrible so is this year AT-DP and the Tie prototype (which is also overpriced) The speeders are nothing special so I will also pass. ( This is my opinion. For those who like the designs: good for you! :classic: )

At least me not buying rebels sets will save me a bunch of needed $ for my clone army!

I still had the 2014 summer prelims saved on my pc.

The stormtrooper in the Ghost is definitely not the one that was release with the set.

He does look like the ones in the ITT prelims

I'm thinking it may be phase II lieutenant?
