Clone 01354 Productions Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Actually, the NYCC reveal is Bionicle (toot-toot here comes the hype train!!). So it is definitely not Star Wars, which means that we need to wait......a very long time....... Quote
Tariq j Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I'm certainly looking forward to the Custom Starfighter, definately on my "to buy" list on 2015. Quote
irispen Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Look how bad are the wookies here: Im glad that lego did not change the look of old wookies, i mean like what they did to the rebel stormies Quote
Darth Punk Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 TLG wasn't at nycc last year. They instead reveled the life size x-wing. While I'm sure bionicle will be the main feature of nycc, I'd be surprised if they didn't reveal anything else. Quote
GallardoLU Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 although Bionicle is the current Hype monster in Lego, not being a fan of it myself I've no idea what Bionicle has to do with Comics. seems like its out of place there to me, but again I don't know much of anything about these masked creatures? people? somethings.... I would expect NYCC do have something more relevant to the greater comic con crowd. DC or Marvel, or maybe the Dino line. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Stay on target... This topic is to discuss Lego Star Wars for 2015 and that's all. Quote
LEGOMAN132 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 With the new tusken raider figure I wonder if we will get a Bantha in the summer wave. The more I look at the T16 the more I want to go brick link the old one. Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Banthas might be hard to come by. The Tusken attack on Luke probably would not be made, because we already have the landspeeder, Luke, and Obi Wan in Mos Eisley. The best chance for a Tusken/Bantha set could be Anakin Skywalker and the encampment from Episode II. It would make a good set, and I do not think they have done it before. They could reuse the Tusken figure from the T-16. Quote
Aland1916 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Yeah, we got rancor, dewback and we're getting womp rat, so I have a good feeling about Bantha. My favourite in this way are T-16, which I always liked and AT-DP, since those Imperial walkers really look cool ... Quote

They sort of did, which is how we got the original Tusken minifigure in the first place: Tusken Raider Encounter Still, that's a 12-year-old pre-fleshie set... they could probably revamp the bike build, make a hut, maybe include a bantha and a couple Tuskens, maybe Shmi, and the requisite Angry Anakin... but that might be too bleak a scene. Then again, they 'hid' the Burning Anakin scene in Palpatine's Shuttle and the green Anakin Skywalker Interceptor sets... Quote
Robert_88 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I hope the Microfighter AT-AT will get a lbg/lbg lever! They are already very expensive and this would be a cheap way to get them. Quote

I just had to check on the prelims again and they're LBG/Black on there... Just keep your fingers crossed! Quote
Something_Awesome Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 What is an LBG/LBG Lever? Part number anyone? Quote
lomis Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) What is an LBG/LBG Lever? Part number anyone? http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=4592c02 LBG is "Light Bluish Gray". Edited September 24, 2014 by lomis Quote
Robianco Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) They actually don't seem to be that badly priced: http://www.bricklink...8558&colorID=86 Unless those first 3 people sell theirs! Edited September 24, 2014 by Robianco Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 They actually don't seem to be that badly priced: http://www.bricklink...8558&colorID=86 Unless those first 3 people sell theirs! People need a lot of them for Bricklinking a UCS Millenium Falcon. Quote
Venkefedo Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 ...not to mention black-handled levers tend to sell for about a penny each. If the Micro AT-AT has a couple, there's a decent chance it'll also have an extra! The other pieces should be useful enough that it'd be a good little parts-pack for detailing patchwork ships like the Falcon or an SD Quote
Frankjaeger Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Any news on the release date for the ucs slave 1? Quote
Galactic13 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Nothing official, some people are saying some time this Fall, and others are saying early January. Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 People need a lot of them for Bricklinking a UCS Millenium Falcon. UCS Falcon needs a whopping 60 of those levers. With the lever appearing in the Microfighters AT-AT, the Bricklink price should drop a bit. Quote
MaxGoof Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 New York Comic Con is from October 9-12 this year. I don't think any sets were revealed last year at NYCC, though I could be wrong. You might be confusing it with New York Toy Fair, which is around February. All that being said, if LEGO does make some sort of press release at NYCC, I'm going to go ahead and estimate a 0% chance that the reveal is the winter wave of Star Wars. Does anyone know when the alleged NYCC 2014 LEGO panel is even supposed to be? According to the NYCC Website's schedule, there's no LEGO panel any day of the con period (besides the LEGO Batman video game panel). Quote

Galactic13 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I think we were talking about Lego SW 2015 not how to make the USC Falcon. Quote
Venkefedo Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I think we were talking about Lego SW 2015 not how to make the USC Falcon. It was in relation to the 2015 Microfighter AT-AT possibly having those levers, so it seems relevant enough...as well as already at an end! Quote
ChiefPie Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Since it's nearing the end of September I suppose soon we will be getting the real pictures of 2015 sets? Quote
