Venkefedo Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 AT-DP's stormie may be unique... the prelim pic showed some modifier in front of the name; could just mean it'll have different equipment (some speculate "riot stormtrooper", so a shield may appear even if not in the prelim pic--another nod to McQuarrie), or it might be an officer or some other trooper-type entirely. Or it might be a regular old stormtrooper and the extra word in front of it on the box-art was just an error... just2good will enlighten us soon enough. Quote

If it's Phase II, then whether it's a named or unnamed LT the colors & patterns are kinda up in the air. Quote

As soon as I realised that there was only 1 Rebels style stormtrooper, I thought "I'll have to get a bunch more of those..." then realised ITT, and immediately thought "TLG, you sneaky bastards!" Looks like that set is as good as sold, despite being not-the-variant many fans wanted. What a sucker I am. Quote

I actually liked the first LEGO version of these guys, well done for detail on the torso and head, and I'm lucky to own them. https://www.thedaily.../b000rtvfto.png I know Star Wars strives for accuracy, but I actually liked these without molded heads at first. I didn't see the new versions so I hope they live up to and improve on the original. (If anyone already talked about these figures in visual comparison I apologize, I didn't read every post of this forum.) Quote

It's September... they're being released in January. That's more than a quarter of the entire year before their release and people are still being snippy about why they haven't seen them yet. If he'd posted them straight away to much fanfare only to bugger up things with the person letting him have them and find that the next wave he can't get any images there would be people asking questions. If he posts them on his Youtube channel that's entirely up to him... You'll still see them before most of the population. For a forum with an apparently adult audience there's an awful lot of toys being thrown out of prams. Quote

You apparently didn't read any of his other posts in this thread or other theme threads where he's been posting. Star Wars isn't going up until Thursday or Friday. He won't post separate pics. Anyway it's good to see pics (and in that regard I'm grateful). He WILL post separate pics; haven't you paid attention to the other themes' pics he's been posting this week? TLM & DC Superheroes had separate pics at the very least. He didn't post Speed Champions pics separately since someone beat him to it while he was asleep... Cuz he's also fighting a cold. The main reason it's taking so long is, as others have noted, so he doesn't spoil things for all of us by compromising his source... in addition to the cold, having a life, etc. Besides, did they ever actually show a womprat in the films? Nope! Just scurriers and other small fauna. Quote
