I think you meant Plo Koon's?

Sounds like a bit of a generous estimate to me, the previous fighters were around the 200+ pieces range - well I'm hoping for the best!

Nope, he meant Saesee Tiin's... the design of the build, not the color pattern of the fighter.

I see what he meant now! Thanks for the clarification.

Good question... maybe Lego didn't want to run heads & arms in tan or dark tan for her (tho Chima should've provided enough heads and arms in either color), due to cost or a decision that her skin tone wasn't distinct enough to warrant it?

The other SW minifigs with tan coloured skin (Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee) look a bit green next to fleshies. Maybe they didn't think it would quite work. Honestly I think those 2 jedi should've been olive green, but that wasn't around back then and sand green wouldn't've looked good on them.

MUCH better views of the AT-DPs in the second episode of Rebels, and I didn't see the yellow bits we've seen on the sets... Maybe/hopefully they'll be able to fix it before release.

Lots of ep. IV throwbacks... but I won't spoil it for you.

It changes sizes so drastically... For the extended version I think flick-fires with jewels on the ends might work... For the body it'd need saber hilts or telescopes for the missiles to plug into

Yeah, I currently have Zeb wielding one using one flick-fire and one lightsaber hilt with pink jewels, but I'm gonna do some tinkering this weekend and see what I come up with.

Realizing flick-fires are kinda long, I quickly tried a build as in the Ghost & AT-DP sets with two more saber hilts attached to the blaster barrels, and jewels in those... still felt super long. So I tried the shorter pistols instead, still long.

Thinking more about it after leaving my Lego behind for work, the challenge is having a grip near the middle, but also at least one pistol grip for rifle-mode... for 'bo' mode, a saber hilt with 2 flick-fires on either end might work just fine, tho perhaps too close to a Magnaguard staff. If the long rifle had a bar-end rather than the stock like the smaller blasters, it might work; another option is the nozzle piece, like Jango's blasters, in black with saber hilts on either end; it's got a pistol grip, but no scope to prevent a minifig gripping the barrel. Not perfect by any means, and the pistol grip is more centered than I think the actual bo-rifle grip(s) should be, but it's an option...

I was thinking that the Jango pistol piece would be the best option. Unfortunately, I'm not near most of my LEGO collection till saturday, so I'll test whatever comes to mind.

I don't know exactly how it's supposed to look like, but did you already try a bar 4L with technic pins on either end; for the grip just a bar 1L with mechanical claw?

the goal is to make something like this:15540483171_d6a9674451_s.jpg which is rather difficult to scale properly and look accurate (similar to the issues with Boba Fett's Carbine)

Give it a month or so and Brickforge or someone similar will have a nice new mould for it.

That's where my Fett carbine, Gaffi stick and Jawa Ion Blaster come from.

Hopefully they make a rifle version and a staff version (with hollow studs at the end to put jewels or whatever we want to indicate the stun energy)... I nabbed several Scout Pistols from BF recently; they're still on sale for under $0.25 each, along with the "Robot Blaster" aka Battle Droid gun. Now I've got several short Lego blasters available for my non-Scout Trooper minifigs!

Could someone please describe the boe rifle / staff to me. I would just use the picture but, you know, blind. I'll then see what I can do. I've already got several ideas.

Great, now I actually want to buy a zeb or a agent callus minifigure just to give him a custom rifle / staff. Maybe I will get the atdp with minifigures.

Sure. It is a black lightsaber hilt with two blaster coming out of each end. The actual version is a little hard to explain. It is basically a long stick with two energy "things" at each end. There are also some little "things" along the stick. Hope that helps!
