I'm not going to get my hopes up for pics this month. Last year, the Sea Cow was released on the 17th to VIPs, and we only got official pics in a press release just shortly before its release (we saw it early due to leaks). Just something to keep in mind.

I brought up the same thing earlier, but someone pointed out that the Sea Cow reveal may have been deliberately delayed until after the movie was widely released. I'm gonna go ahead and keep my hopes up.

Actually that was me, and it was an estimate as we get the AoU trailer on the 12th so we'd probably see official Marvel Lego images sometime shortly after that.

I mean we saw the Ant-Man trailer on the 6th, the AoU trailer on the 12th so it makes sense the Helicarrier reveal would be mid-January around the 15th-18th.

Though thats nothing concrete obviously

True, but that was mostly due to the films release and its relationship to the other sets. The Sea Cow contained several figures that were only available in other expensive sets. The only way to get all the main cast otherwise was to buy a majority of the sets. Delaying the reveal of the Sea Cow made people jump to buy the other sets in the same way that not revealing the 'double decker bed' got a majority to buy the Sea Cow.

Essentially the Sea Cow had movie importance (to an extent) while also containing a majority of the main cast. Most licensed sets nowadays are brought for the figures. If they had revealed the cheaper Double Decker Couch then many would pass on the Sea Cow and get the very cheap Double Decker Couch with many figures (Or just buy all the Winter 2015 Lego movie sets)

Not entirely sure, but if i had to guess i'd say a place to store the Loki Staff and a Jail for Quick Silver to escape from.

Well we know there is at least 1 mini-quinjet in the helicarrier as it's visible in the shot from the video.

However, I seem to recall there only being two or three quinjets that appear in the whole Avengers film, compared to the fleets of them aboard the CA:TWS carriers, so for that reason we may only get the one.

Is there a marvel summer set line up planned for this year other than ant man? For some reason I read somewhere here a while back about a classic globin figure

We know that we're getting a set with Carnage and also a set with both Rhino & Sandman. Iron Spider and a spidey variant will be in these sets but other than that we really know nothing. Classic Green Goblin is just a hope at this point
