NovaSentinel Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 The mouthpiece face looks pretty close to the movie version so it will do for me. Also, arm printing. Quote

agoodfella77 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) You're very welcome, the iron man in the cheapest set is exclusive as it's the Mark 45. But for the other three sets, i'm afraid we're getting the same variations of the Mark 43. This is really disappointing. It's like the nearly same nth number (I believe it is the 8th or 9th straight) Ultimate Spider-Man variant that they've been pumping out with not a single variant thrown into new sets. You would have thought they could have thrown in an updated War Machine variant -- as it seems from the trailer that WM makes an appearance -- or even another IM variant. tkkim79 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 it seems not the movie version...there's avenger's mark not CA2... and he doesn't have any weapons Quote
Pulp Detective Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Looks good but not too good and since I probably wont be able to get him I have no problem with it at all. Quote

Otherwise it just looks silly as he never had the glasses on without the eye piece. Quote

It's not what they are basing the minifig off of (and if it is, we need a full line of figs from this show!), but its out there. Personally, I think the WS fig shown above looks good. I might put old Hawkeye's head (glasses side) with a new Ninjago mask to perfect it, but that arm printing is very nice. Edited December 26, 2014 by rodiziorobs Quote
elederberg Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) I don't see what all the fuss is his torso is pretty similar to the movie version and the side of the head without the mask is definitely based on the Movie version. I'm more interested in when he will be coming out. Edited December 26, 2014 by elederberg Quote
K-Nut Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Yes, the figure has flaws, but honestly, I'm just very happy to get a Winter Soldier figure. I really like how it can be both the MCU version and the Comics version. Overall, I think he's a good looking figure. Quote
deskp Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 The movie version was based of the comic version. as is the lego version. that doesen't mean the fig is in any way the movie version. Infact in alot of the comics he looks mroe like the mcu version that that figure does. I dont get why you guys are happy he supposedly works as the movie version, when you clearly don't seem much aware of how he really looks in the movie. Quote
just2good Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Where are those pictures from? I'm curious about the logo on the bag. Quote
Ultron Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Idk what you guys are talking about, I think he looks pretty good! I love the mask side of his head. The other side covering his mouth is meh. Quote

In nearly all comic representations he has the eye mask but no mouth covering so it's prettyaccurate for both those that want comic and those that want it looking more like mcu Quote

The other side covering his mouth is meh. Yeah, I think it is a pretty good minifigure. And I knew it wasn't going to be based off a movie that would be out for over a year by the time this is available for everyone. Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Where/When will the Winter Soldier polybag be released? Apologies for my forgetting. Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Where are those pictures from? I'm curious about the logo on the bag. Yes, that Avengers logo looks really weird. Quote
agoodfella77 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I've never been a fan of the sideways crooked mouth print. Maybe it's just me. Quote
Risgrynsgrot Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Aw shoot, if anything I'll have to get the arm for my custom! Link: http://i.imgur.com/LINycri.jpg Quote
Scarilian Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 In nearly all comic representations he has the eye mask but no mouth covering so it's prettyaccurate for both those that want comic and those that want it looking more like mcu Nope if it was based on the MCU version it would have both the eye mask and mouth mask on one side with just the mouth mask on the other. If it was based on comic version then granted the one side of the face makes sense, but the other side shouldnt have the mask. In this case they combined two versions of the figure, neither of which actually really works with the other. I cant see for example him wearing the eye mask one time then switching to wear the mask another without the eye mask. The costume is also once again a blend between the comics and the movie version, which creates a version that doesnt really fit with either of the versions. As such i would'nt feel justified in displaying this with the MCU figures or with the comic based figures, as it would'nt match with either. Quote
