mattdev25 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Whoa, that Yellowjackets looks....odd. I don't know, I've always read Antman comics and I can get over the new 2015 suit which looks cool, but Yellowjacket with 4 arms? I don't know about this movie...Anyways, I think that Yellowjacket will have a sort of neck brace that gives him the added 2 arms in the set. Quote
Faefrost Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Looking at the image (Higher quality version) i wonder how they'll do Yellowjacket as a figure... My guess would be very very similar to how they did Venom. A connection on the back with 4 droid or skellies arms attached. Since when does Yellowjacket have arms tied behind his back?! It seems like the Yellowjacket suit is essentially the Eric O'Grady Ant Man suit from the comics. A later design by Pym for Shield. That suit had the 4 robotic arms, which also acted as thrust verniers for flight, and seemed similar to or borrow from the Stark built Iron Spider-man suit from Civil War. Since when has YellowJacket ever been a villain? Since 1986. Avengers 270. The female one wearing stolen Pym tech. She was a member of Zemo's Masters of Evil. It could also be argued that pretty much any incarnation of Pym as Yellowjacket was more than a bit borderline villainous, or at least pretty much insane. The Yellowjacket suit tended to mark the low points of Pym's mental health struggles. Very excited - the new team looks very good, and are definitely an improvement on the 2012 Avengers lineup. I think LEGO have learnt their lessons, and are slowly but surely turning this into the Super Heroes line that we want! Really hope the Helicarrier has an accessible interior - an actual dropping Loki's cell would be epic to see, and that control bridge would be awesome too. Anyone reckon they'll add an exploding feature for when the rotor get's damaged? We really need somebody to go into a LEGO Store and find out if it will be Minifig scale. I'm sure the Helicarrier will have an interior room or scene, much the same as the UCS SSD did. What worries me is lately the UCS sets have all been coming with at least one truly exclusive fig that does not require new molds. For the Helicarrier that probably means either a Maria Hill or a <sob> Coulson! Quote
kevkipo Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 sorry to say but i think Coulson is a safe bet Quote

We may get more than those four, but those four seem pretty likely (2 exclusives, Black Widow being the AoU version and Nick Fury having a different costume) As for an interior room or scene, still betting that it'll be the command console room at the front of the vehicle and the 'lab' at the back. Borex Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 With DC getting all those extra figures (batzarro, lightning lad, trickster, superboy) i really hope we will get some extra marvel figures too. Actually i think that polybags are a perfect way to release more figures in a cheap way. Only thing is that they need to be sold all over the world so everybody can collect them. Quote

agoodfella77 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I hate the capes. You can't really adjust them without taking off the heads, and they almost make the minifig look like it's wearing a turtleneck. Can someone post a pic / link of the new capes please? Quote
Scarilian Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I agree. It seems DC has been going crazy on the extra figures. Has Marvel even had any other the Rocket Polybag? DC has had. A few lately, plastic man, superboy, trickster, batzarro, lighting lad, maybe more idk. Marvel has really only had 3 exclusive figs, correct me if I'm wrong, minifig hulk, rocket, and now winter soldier. Although 2 of them are variations of figs we already have Quote

legomathias Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) I'm totally hyped for the Winter Soldier figure, but I fear that it might be a Target / Toys R Us exlusive like Rocket Raccoon and Superboy. But I come from Belgium and we do not have these stores so I missed the previous polybags and I definitely don't want to miss WS. So I want to ask if someone from Belgium / Europe knows where you can get it exept paying a lot on eBay? I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to ask such a question but I'm just new here and I really want to know Edited December 30, 2014 by legomathias Quote
KCMatze Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Ugh, now I know why LEGO Vision head is pink... Not the best choice by Disney... Like the more green variation a lot better. Quote

"Disney" didn't make his head pink. I'm totally hyped for the Winter Soldier figure, but I fear that it might be a Target / Toys R Us exlusive like Rocket Raccoon and Superboy. No, winter soldier will most definitely be a shop at home exclusive minifig. So you'll be able to get him online and the lego store Quote
Scarilian Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) So, we have confirmation that the UCS Helicarrier will be released as a VIP Exclusive on February 17th before being released publicly to everyone on March 1st. Hopefully we will be seeing pics incredibly soon Edited December 30, 2014 by Scarilian Quote
Dr Axels Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I had a question regarding the set waves for this year. Will the Avengers 2 sets count as our Summer Wave like Guardians was in 2014? Or will it be a Spring Wave like the Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble sets we received. I am trying to figure out what else we might see this year, hopefully something Ant-Man. Quote
Darth Carlos Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I'm happy to see a WS poly bag coming next year. Very curious on what minifigs will be in the UCS Helicarrier. Quote
