This is the Marvel set I need in my life!

I would'nt be so quick to jump on the set until we see the images...

Ooh, sounds very cool indeed. I was thinking of recreating a scene similar to the promo poster with the Avengers overwhelmed by the hundreds (thousands?) of Ultrons.

But yeah, I'll definitely be buying several of the "Iron Man vs. Ultron" sets

Same - pretty much this idea for ages...

I like the Iron Legion suit a lot. Especially that lovely dark blue helmet. Wish it didn't have the Avengers striping on it, though: it'd be easier to use it as a basic Iron Man suit. The slight printing on the head is… interesting, to say the least. Not quite sure WHY they're doing that, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. The Mark 43 is pretty close to the Mark 42, but since it's basically a recolored (and hopefully more reliable) Mark 42, that's to be expected. Given how different/bulkier the chest plate for the other Iron Man suit looks, now I'm really curious as to what Tony's going to pull out for the Mark 45 in the movie.

I'm really liking how many different drones and Ultrons we're getting. It's gonna make for a fun display piece. XD

I'd also probably say that the Helicarrier won't be Cuusoo/Ideas scale. That set is 22,000 pieces and is 2.3 metres long. It's probably closer to 1/4 or 1/5 of the piece count and less than half the length. The 10c a piece rule would make it $2,200... And we know it's $350. Still a sizeable set in its own right but not quite the full Ideas size.

22,000 pieces shuts the idea down almost immediately. It would cost a HUGE amount of money to mass produce a set with 22,000 pieces.

he updated the project and downsized it to 6700 pieces i think, which is still a huge amount of pieces though.

Alright people don't kill but I think Antman looks really bad! I was really looking forward to it but after that *ahahahahahahahah* I don't know what to think.

Just watched the trailer myself. Not sure what I'm thinking either… I think I'd be more on board with it if they played it more like heist movie in the trailer only to reveal part-way through they were using the Ant-Man suit instead of some other movie gadget, or if at the very least they had the main dude not do that sort of high-pitched "huh." Or the ants, the giant flying helicopter ants are bugging me a little bit. But I'm DEFINITELY loving the Ant-Man suit. Like, seriously, wow, that looks like such a fun prop/costume. But ya know what? I'm willing to give Marvel a chance with this. :) Let's see what they do.

Hey, maybe the Ant-Man set will have a giant brick-built flying ant for him to ride? That'd be kind of fun, I'll admit.

PS: Also, having read up a bit on the backstory, I'm getting a bit of a Batman Beyond vibe to this movie. Older retired superhero offers his technologically advanced suit that was created decades ago to a snarky jackass with a dirty past and a good heart and is seeking redemption?

Thanks for the images amazing bricks, I really like that iron man with less gold, and the mask printing is great.

No problem, I love this variation of iron man.

A black-coated man in the helicarrier?

Did you see pictures? Please give us more hints.

Are you sure it wasn't a fat guy in a red suit? Maybe some cookie crumbs in a long white beard?

 Best post of the day. I don't know why.

I wish! Heard it from one of my sources, who has been wrong before, but also right.

See, I thought it looked all right. The film seems ok and I'm loving the Ant-Man suit, so...I'll give it a chance.

Lego set wise, I'd really like a fly the size of the moulded spiders and the ants from Indiana Jones with a micro-sized Antman riding it. How cool would that be!

I tought the trailer looked good, but it's not my cup of tea

To be honest, the trailer's pretty underwhelming. That's not to say I'm not incredibly excited for the film though, I can't wait! I'm loving the new suit, I can't wait to get it in Lego form. Maybe we'll get a giant brick built ant for him to ride on?

Its funny how people wanted/needed to find some way to make fun of Guardians of the Galaxy for things like Screen Junkies and HISHE. One of the jokes was it proves that if you slap Marvel on something people will go watch it. I will go on opening night just because it is a CBM, even though I'm not sure how this movie will turn out especially since its the first movie in Phase III and its the first movie following AAoU. As for sets go I think it would be cool to have more sets based off the MCU so that we could get an old Hank Pym, Scott Lang and the Yellowjacket.

Actually it's the last movie in phase 2. Kinda strange but that's what they said.

The trailer was underwhelming, but I think the actual movie will be good.

Also, That Red van driving in front of the Golden Gate Bridge in the trailer, it was also shown in a press release shot. So It could be a mobile base of operations for Lang And Pym in the movie. Or just another red van.

It would make sense. If they give us any minifigs with the Helicarrier (which they are pretty much guaranteed to do these days as they cheaply sweeten the pot.) we know the first one on the list has to be Fury. It's his ship after all.
