Given how Vision's been advertised as a main character and an Avenger, I'd say he'll get a mini-fig. I'd say he's far more likely than say Maria Hill or Nick Fury. Superheroes are more appealing.

I've never saw pictures of him. I've never heard of him in the news except the time they released that he's in the movie and who's going to portray him. Also he was in the background on the SDCC picture. He's not a main character. But who am I to say this. Maybe he's a main character, but based on the information I have he doesn't seem like a main character to me

But (sorry for so many 'buts') as you said he's a superhero so they probably make a mini figure out of him

Well he's featured on the SDCC poster - which neither Nick Fury, Maria Hill, or War Machine/Rhodey are. Plus Bettany has been publically speaking about and advertising the character too, plus making an appearance at SDCC himself... I'd say Marvel will advertise him, and he makes sense for a set

I too think getting Falcon is not really probable, but one can dream. On the other hand, I'm sure we will get Vision. He looks like this kind of character who will shake with the story, so it's logical they don't talk about him and don't show him, only tease us with the bits like SDCC poster.

The Vision is in the marvel universe a very important character. People not familiar with him should read more comics. In fact everybody in the universe should read more comics.

Anyway, is there already a set list or something like that? I see posts about we'll be getting antman and stuff. Are those confirmed rumors? Antman :-)

I doubt that...there's no real reason to make him a SDCC exclusive since he probably won't appear in Cap3 and DocStrange

Well Cap 3 and Doctor Strange are the 2016 movies, AoU and Antman are the 2015 ones so those movies are where the next SDCC exclusives may come from. I'd say it's likely to get a fig from Antman as an exclusive next year. But if we don't see Strucker in a set for AoU we may see him as an exclusive also..He'd be a really easy fig to do.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but it definitely seems like that, based on Hulk_Smash's reports, and the fact no Marvel set was shown at SDCC this year.

It is possible, but I don't think so. Heck, I doubt we'll get X-Men sets next year. It seems like they'll stick to doing one set every two years. This makes a lot of sense, seeing how the next big X-Men film is in 2016.

How come we're apparently getting two sets based on different movies when LEGOs contract only has 1 movie per year?

Maybe it's like the Sentinel X-Men set, that it's probably inspired by the movie but not directly related to it. I hope so, because I want a red Comic Book Ant-man!

We're definitely getting Age of Ultron sets next year. Marvel named Lego as one of the companies releasing a toy line for the new movie:

No guarentees it will be the next wave though if Lego decides to release two for Marvel again next year. The first will probably focus on Ultimate Spider-Man and other Marvel cartoons while the movie themed sets come later in the year.

I think the one thing we can say for sure about whatever minifigures we do get this year, they will probably be more accurate than some of those for Avengers (Hawkeye, Black Widow and Loki's staff spring to mind), judging from the set photos and renders we've had already, they've had the designs locked down for more than a year, and if I recall correctly isn't 12 months the time it takes to develop a set including minifig design time?

But any speculation of one movie per year is simply that pure speculation. It is us here trying to see a pattern where none exists. The truth is Lego does not make sets from every movie. Movie based sets tend to be risky. They can bring an order of magnitude more sales for the right property (GotG, Avengers) or they can be an anchor around the lines neck for a poorly received one (LR, PoP, Last Airbender, Speed Racer). They make a careful estimate early on over just how "toyetic" a movie will be, and tend to err on the side of caution if they don't know for certain (or the licensor isn't pushing it tied with other products.) We got no Thor or Thor 2 sets because Thor tends to not be a big toy seller. Winter Soldier was probably felt to be targeting a little old for their desired demo. Whereas once a property hits a certain marketing threshold they will jump in. This is often why you see Lego making sets at later movies. IM3, Toy Story 2, etc. the patern will not always make sense to us. Why take a risk on an almost unknown GotG and skip Cap 2? Because GotG is where Marvel wanted the big marketing push, and GotG has a touch of SW to it, while Winter Soldier is a darker more adult spy thriller, without a lot of swoosh ability, and it's subjects could well be covered by leveraging the cartoons.

And the equally weird thing, they almost do better without the direct movie tie ins in Super Heroes. Look at the movie sets we have gotten from marvel and DC. The movie ones seem bland and lifeless compared to the more general classic comic or cartoon ones. IM3? Avengers? Man of Steel? The only sets that scream take me home while sitting on the shelves are the GotG ones and the Quinjet. Otherwise it's Superman with a Subarru and IM vs the flame throwing Hobo golf cart of doom.

WS wouldn't have made good sets. The only thing that I think was a missed opportunity was the Winter Soldier himself. I want him! Thor 2 I think would've been nice to get Malekith or a Dark elf though..maybe one day we'll get their comic book appearances in a set.

The hair is the main problem. I don't want the glasses again either, he needs a normal face.
