Only two? Depending on the jet, I'm definitely considering getting several of this set for the Shield Agents. Then again, if we're getting a generic one in this set... I think that bodes well for the Hellicarrier :D

Completely forgot about the SHIELD Agent in the set. Then I might get a few depending on whether or not they go well with the helicarrier agents or the helicarrier doesn't supply us with enough agents.

Yeah, I'm excited. :grin:

We now know Sandman will have a big arm (brickbuild i guess), but what about the fig itself? Is it going to be a minifig or just a brickbuilt fig?

Posted

there was word HC would be announced between tuesday-thursday, so tomorrow is looking likely if this is to be believed?

The person who told us this was lying, but I think The Brick Fan said that it would be annouced within the next week.

Regular since I highly doubt we'd get two in one set?

It'd make sense that the SHIELD Agent in the Carnage set might be based on Ultimate Spider-man (TV Series) so might not fit in with the movie-based Helicarrier, but its a good idea non-the-less. I plan on doing the same with Ultron :3

TheBrickFan mentioned rumours that it would be this week however if we dont see it this week we will probably see it on the 28th.

My guess is that Sandman is a regular figure, doubt he's anything other... given Rhino has a brickbuilt suit.

Fair, but I'm okay with getting two designs... How different could they be? In fact I'd almost rather get a variant. It would enable making agents of various ranks. :3

And yes, Ultron ^_^

How will Rhino work as a minifigure? The mech idea sounds awful...really wish TLG just made him a bigfig and stuck to the comics...(sigh).

I'm guessing its based on the Ultimate Spider-man TV Series so probably like this;

Alternatively it'll be something like this;

Only difference seeming to be lighter and darker shades, but the general style should be similar so i guess you are right :3

Very true. If memory serves correctly, the SHIELD Agents in USM usually had armor on, which looked very different from the MCU agents. Either way, I'm fine with multiples.

Here is how Alex O'Hirn (pre-mutagen Rhino) looks in USM. I think it would be quite hilarious if Lego gave us him in that brick built version - the nerdy target of bullies in the big mech. Although maybe the "mech" is not supposed to be a mech so to speak, especially given the organic look reported, but more of an example of the transformed state of Alex with Alex himself still "inside"? Weird. I'm not sure of Lego's history of dealing with organic changing characters. I guess they didn't give us a Norman Osborn inside a brick built Green Goblin... Just seems weird that it fits a minifig. An organic mech that isn't the USM concept or the movie one :/

I'm still gutted there's no White Tiger. Any chance there's an exclusive with her?? I have grave fears the USM team will never be completed due to female superheroes weak drawing power :(

She could always end up being a SDCC exclusive... :P

Wow, I really thought Marvel might have been outdone by the last DC wave, but after comparing the upcoming waves, it appears Marvel has done it again. Incredible what having almost complete cinematic control can do for a company, it really opens the doors for licensing a wider product range with multiple tie-ins.

So, 'The Hulkbuster Smash' has been revealed, so time for thoughts;

- Ultron Prime appears to have a piece that connects between the head and body piece in order to have his side spikes

- Hulk doesnt appear to have the neck articulation i was hoping for from big figs like Mungus from Chima

- Scarlet Witch looks alright, though the hair piece should have been this

- Some transparent pieces presumably so you can have Iron Man flying, in addition a transparent piece connects the Hulkbuster head to the body

- The Hulkbuster arms look a tad thin and the legs look like Chicken Legs... but it seems a good build

Will probably pick this up as a cheap way to get the Hulk along with a bunch of other important figures.

The transparent thing is for scarlet witch as seen on box art.

Weird though that the Hulk does not have the Avengers Pants on in the Hulkbuster set.

He does, it's just a printing error in that out of the box picture like the one with Gorilla Grodd. You can see the printing on the actual box, however. The fact that he doesn't have toe printing confirms this error.

The Hulkbusters not bad. The only part that truly bothers me is the printed dome. It just doesn't look right. That part should've been a new mold.

I like that! It makes the one in the HYDRA Fortress set exclusive. :classic:

Even more reasons to buy the Hydra Fortress!

Plus Lego is getting it pretty accurate as from the trailer it does not look like Hulk is wearing the Avengers Pants during the Hulkbuster fight.

Yeah, the dome piece is not the best choice but it serves its purpose.

The dome head works great in my opinion, have you guys REALLY looked at the movie head?
