LMB10 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Hmm. For that price I'd assume there'll be three minifigs, but maybe not. Unless... Hank dons the Yellowjacket suit, and they include that with a separate Pym minifigure. Quote
Ultron Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Yay thanks for the spoiler! We'd have learned it eventually anyway with the official reveal of the set The mandarin situation was not early concept stuff, it was a marvel coverup. So why didn't they do that here? Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) We'd have learned it eventually anyway with the official reveal of the set So why didn't they do that here? maybe Hank recruits Lang to adopt the Ant-Man legacy, steal the Yellowjacket suit, the betrays Lang? Or maybe they don't wanna show of Yellowjacket or Hope for some reason. I mean the guy could have been looking at the set instead of the box. The third fig could have been whited out and covered on the box too Edited January 30, 2015 by DJ Bricks Quote

I have a feeling Lego will justify "well there's some microfigs instead of another figure". Quote

But the gig is generaly 2 figs for the 10-13 dolalr set and then 3 figs for the next pric range. But it's not a set rule obviously. Quote

Well I meant specifically for the superhero theme which I don't think has happened Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I'm back with more info from the guy The set is indeed called final battle The set pits Lang against Pym. Hank Pym is "wearing a similar suit to Ant-Man" Quote
JaseTJ Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Do people buy $350 sets just for certain parts? Doesn't much matter- if people want to MOC a Hellicarrier their best value for parts is gunna be the set anyways. Unless maybe they have access to bulk parts from a LUG or something, and even then it would be hard to get such a variety of grey slopes/wedges. If I can, my tentative plan is to get 2 and basically make the deck twice as wide (2 of those big plates wide rather than 1) to fit a better sized control room in there. Quote
Ultron Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Maybe a more classic Antman suit for Pym? Did he see any whited out figure that could be Wasp? Quote
deskp Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) Maybe Pym suits up in his old suit to join in the fight agaisnt yellowjacket. I wanna know why hes gotten the idea they are figthing eachother. did he imagine that up or is that waht the box art actually shows. Setups on fairs and cons alot of times are weird and incorrect so when people don't explain proeprly everything it gets suspicious. Btw. the guy said he didn't get a good look at the box so i guess anything is possible. Edited January 30, 2015 by deskp Quote

He said he couldn't get a good look at the box due to all the people around. Pym used the same suit in the past that he gives to Lang. I'm thinking that PyM has Lang steal the Yellowjacket suit, suits up in it and betrays Lang [ ] Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Even more info Only two figs in the set Pym's suit is black/darker and very similar to Lang's. Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Even more info Only two figs in the set Well, that's depressing. Quote
Ultron Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I'm so sad. Now we may have to wait till Infinity War for a Wasp figure. I hope she shows up on Avengers Assemble before that. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Well, that's depressing. Big lego pieces are a new mould. A red one, a yellow one, and a grey screw. Quote
deskp Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 That seems like things you could make out of existing bricks. No need for new molds. Also the molds seems completely useless for other themes. I think its something brick buildt. Quote

kevkipo Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 new molded giant bricks and a screw? what?? Quote
deskp Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 new molded giant bricks and a screw? what?? Might even be some duplo thing, they are already lego compatible. He said they're moulded. Probably why a two fig set costs 20$ The price would be bacuse its proapably around 200 pieces. Quote
Swifty118247 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) On an unrelated note can anyone remember the name of the fantastic four villain the built clay dolls of the fantastic four that he could control and manipulate? Because that probably what I'm going to use the little micro avengers from the hellicarrier for Edited January 30, 2015 by Swifty118247 Quote

Too bad he was a fricken exclusive Quote
