rodiziorobs Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I'm guessing that Ultron will be like the Exo-Force robots crossed with the Super Battle Droids from the Star Wars sets--bulked up torso, narrow limbs, and taller than the standard minifig. My guess is we get a new mold for the torso and head at least. Quote
LMB10 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Unless he comes in an Avengers Assemble set, I think we may not get him until 2017/18 Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Unless he comes in an Avengers Assemble set, I think we may not get him until 2017/18 Who are you talking about? Quote
Ultron Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Yeah I don't see us getting Thanos yet. I don't even want him unless he has the infinity gauntlet anyway. Quote
LMB10 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) Who are you talking about? Thanos, should have specified, oops Edited August 19, 2014 by LMB10 Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 It's funny. In both the Marvel and DC forums, people are talking about the big villains like Thanos and Darkside. They're almost the same character. Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Ya good luck with that a glove with mini pieces on it is never gonna happen Quote
Ultron Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Ya good luck with that a glove with mini pieces on it is never gonna happen I don't think it would be impossible to mold a bigfig hand piece to have 6 little painted bumps on it. Quote
Kire Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) I don't think it would be impossible to mold a bigfig hand piece to have 6 little painted bumps on it. I was thinking about this a while ago when I was looking at the Boxer CMF, if Thanos is released as a minifigure and not a big fig I assume he would have the Boxing glove on him and the Infinity gems would be printed on, rather than Lego making a brand new mold. Steph 104th Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 The boxing glove was the first thing that came to mind for me, I hope they do something similar. Quote
kevkipo Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) That's a good choice for him, in white/ grey, it will look awesome. Thank you Groot, Thank you actually http://img1.wikia.no...ksilver_Age.png The Anakin one is the best choice, The Luke one is far to long on the sides and back. Actually: http://www.hollywood...Johnson_a_l.jpg Altough the Anakin hair could work too Someone on Brickfan had a speculation going about AoU sets and he said this: We need a villain in this set, so let's include Quicksilver You are not telling me Quicksilver is a villain! SMC Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) a thought about sdcc rocket, could it could with the Blu-ray we have seen the hobbit movies come with a lego fig before, have these sdcc sets they sell ever come with an exclusive fig before? looking at it again it really bothers me that they bother to print on the legs for the one only a few get but not bother on something like the flash but at least after watching the film I think we got the better rocket although that makes me want the main suit on the others too not the one they have on for a few minutes Edited August 20, 2014 by SMC Quote
rexusprime Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 You are not telling me Quicksilver is a villain! Well in the comics, Quicksilver was first a part of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants before he joined the Avengers. But being captured by a bad guy (baron Von Strucker) must mean they're good. Quote
LMB10 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 You are not telling me Quicksilver is a villain! Let's just say he's not necessarily a hero at first. Quote

I am Groot Quicksilver was captured by von Strucker to be tested on. He will mostly likely resist the Avengers at the begining of the film, as I am Groot and not Kevin Feige I can't know for sure what's going to happen. Quote

On the other hand we've never gotten a sdcc set with an exclusive figure before either... Definately feel the same frustration though! If it makes you feel any better, as someone who was at Comic-Con, even if you would have been able to go, getting the sets were virtualy impossible! My friend waited since 5am to get into the exhibit hall and he still didn't get to the booth fast enough. The problem is that the floor opened at 9:30, and by 9:00 they were sold out. It's because anyone with a professional badge or disabled badge is let in early and by the time attendes get to the booth, it's too late. What annoyed me most was later in the day, random toy booths had all three sets marked up to $400, when they payed $120(still too much) for them a few hours earlier... :/ I really wanted Rockets Warbird, it was one of my top priorities, but some things aren't ment to be. Hope LEGO fixs this problem next year! Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 oh thats true iinstead of having ultron be the villain in most of the sets it could quick silver, scarlett witch or baron von strucker Quote
Steph 104th Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) Sorry to hear that, if I was there that was defiantly one of the sets I wanted. I guess that's just one of things, good luck for next year. An alternate way of getting that Rocket is defiantly needed. Edited August 20, 2014 by Steph 104th Quote
rexusprime Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 oh thats true iinstead of having ultron be the villain in most of the sets it could quick silver, scarlett witch or baron von strucker I thought Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are good from the beginning in the movie because of that scene with Hawkeye where it looks like he's rescuing them...but that doesn't have to be the first scene in the movie I quess. So it should be possible to do a Twins vs. Avengers set which would be pretty cool. Quote

So it should be possible to do a Twins vs. Avengers set which would be pretty cool. Well first the escape from Struckers, jion Ultron side, and at the end jion the Avengers. Also they tend to shoot scenes out of order, and try to do the big action scenes first, so they are.ready for the trailers. Also i dont think hes rescueing them i think they are helping Ultron. Quote
LMB10 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) Kinda spoilers below I guess: Joss specifically said they're on "Team Ultron" for the first half of the movie. Whether that means they're actually pro-Ultron or just anti-Avengers who knows. The footage reports indicate the Avengers lock up the twins This is all getting very off topic Edited August 20, 2014 by LMB10 Quote
rexusprime Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 You're right and sorry I didn't know that. I'm just confused with all these leaked set photos. Quote
