Numbuh1Nerd Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 One of the arms must be as well, as WS has a robotic printed silver arm on the polybag image. Oh, you're right! I didn't even notice that! Quote
Rayduh562 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Has Amazon sold out of the Avengers tower set? I was looking at them yesterday and I've decide to buy it today, but the pages are not found when I click the link on one of the earlier post Quote
KCMatze Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Oh, you're right! I didn't even notice that! Haha me neither But now as someone said it....yep! Quote

Quicksilver Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) Sorry to bother but has anyone seen a close up pic of the Minifig checklist? just wondering... oh thats cool: Aaaand Everyone who lives in the USA runs as fast as Quicksilver to Target. But great $20 set. 2 Vehicles. 3 Figs. Also is Thor's Face Print different than in the Tower? Edited February 12, 2015 by LuxorV Quote

He said he got it at target, and it was the only Age Of Ultron set there. The box also had the piece count on it, so it is an American box. Quote
Ultron Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Now that we got a closeup of the hydra henchmen...does it seem to anyone else that Hydra maybe took more than Loki's staff from the battle of New York? It looks like they have some chitauri armor on them! Quote
Iron_Man_Mark_45 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Now that I saw Brick Show's review of The Avengers Duel With Hydra set, My prediction is that Hydra will also get Chitauri technology, because their armor has the same color scheme and they kind of resemble the armor we saw with the Chitauri in 2012 looks a lot like the Hydra Henchmen's armor. Cmay91472 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) If Amazon pulls a listing like with the Ultron sets, do they typically honor the sales already placed? Ordered mine a few days ago and says expected arrival date on Tuesday but hasn't shipped yet, let alone preparing to ship message either. Wondering if they are just not going to send it out until March now. Oh well. FYI Noticed a seller on EBay is selling the Hulkbuster set for $70. Says they have three in hand and one already sold. Can't believe people are willing to pay double just to get something a couple weeks early. Edited February 12, 2015 by Cmay91472 Quote
legofreak86 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) Thats odd: http://www.prnewswir...-300035121.html the marvel sets press release states: "sets range from $12.99 to $119.99" I wonder what marvel set possibly demands $119.99, not any of the ones we have seen so far, thats for sure, are there more that we are unaware of? It also says in regards to each Avengers Age of Ultron and Ant Man, sets! Plural, is there another ant man or other marvel set in the summer that we don't know about? I mean the whole $119.99 doesn't add up, as all the avengers age of ultron sets are under 100, i was under the impression also that the spider man sets prices have been confirmed as $40 and $13. So what costs $119.99, what could warrant that, The Ant Man set? Edited February 12, 2015 by legofreak86 Quote

SoupOrFishOil Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Jokerland is supposedly $120, but I don't expect that they would make that mistake.... Quote

I was JUST about to ask that same question. There's no way 76032 (Avengers Quinjet Chase) comes in anywhere near $119.99, and that's the largest (non-Helicarrier) set that's been revealed. So is that a typo, or is there a TBA super-spendy set that we don't know about? Quote
Dr Axels Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Do we have all the U.S. prices for the AoU sets? Quote
legofreak86 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Jokerland is supposedly $120, but I don't expect that they would make that mistake.... They wouldn't list it as marvel, they already make reference to the "2 Batman sets" in the DC part. Maybe lego has something marvel hidden up their sleeve.. Quote
BrickSantorum Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Jokerland is supposedly $120, but I don't expect that they would make that mistake.... Actually, it could be that exactly. The press release doesn't give a price range for the DC Super Heroes sets, and that's the *only* theme that they don't provide price info for. Maybe internally, they look at all of the Super Heroes sets as a single theme, and this is reflective of that mindset? Quote

Its even under a separate sub category Licensed themes 5+, whereas marvel is under the Disney subcategory along with star wars. Quote

legofreak86 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) Secret $120 antman set we don't know about? Could be? But what could justify that price tag in a brand new theme for lego and marvel movie wise. I mean its a bit of a risk making the flagship system set of the year an ant man one isn't it? Unless its another AOU set. Or a big marvel set they've been keeping hidden for a while. Edited February 12, 2015 by legofreak86 Quote

They separated out Licensed Themes into two groups: * Licensed Themes - Disney (Disney Princesses, Marvel, Star Wars) * non-Disney Licensed Themes (DC, Scooby-Doo, Jurassic World, Minecraft) I think there's smoke here but no fire. The $12.99 - $119.99 range is probably 76029 Iron Man vs Ultron on the low end and 76035 Jokerland on the high end. They just made a minor error in the press release and didn't provide separate price ranges for each of the Super Heroes lines. Quote
