Can anyone ELI5 the difference?

hm?

The diference is that you the color goes all around the legs when molded, the printing is only on front and sides. Obviosuly the prited boots shows signs of the leg under.

Eh, that Spidey still looks incomplete without the webbing on the boots. It kind of reminds me of the 60s cartoon Spidey with webbing only being on the mask and nowhere else.

It wraps around the back quite nicely. And shows on the inside of the leg.

It's nice they finally gave spidey boot printing but couldn't they have gone the extra mile and printed webs on them?

This seems pretty new for LEGO. In time it could happen. I wouldn't bet money on it but in about a year or so LEGO might be able to do it. Just in time for his appearance in the MCU. (Civil War, hopefully.)

I don't mind it, personally they still are a great addition to a rather lackluster figure. It's a surprise the boots aren't in the Juniors set but rather a red hip piece. And I think a red hip piece looks rather odd with that torso. So, I'm cool with the boots.

^The box is the final design, its not prelim. And even if it was prelim the figs in the corner are usualy final. and they use the same heads there.

Not usually, but yeah some times.

I'm if these are final, which I hope not, I'm fine with the Stormtrooper for Darren.

I'm fine with generic Ezra for Paul Rudd.

What I am not fine with is Gandalf's for Pym.

1. Ian and Michael don't look anything alike

2. As such Michael doesn't have 60 wrinkles all over his face like sir Ian.

3. Pym has a frickin goatee!!!

It seams lego got lazy with the human faces this wave.

Clone head and a LotR elves head for Rhino and Sandy?!!

This is hands-down going to be the best year for LEGO Marvel. Here's why:

Hulkbuster for only $30?!? And it includes the Hulk? I am not joking when I say that this is the biggest steal of a deal I've ever seen in the past four years.

Ant-Man's giant LEGO brick/screw catapult is just awesome.

We finally get a comic-style Green Goblin figure.

That $12.99 Carnage set more than makes up for last year's Spider-Trike monstrosity.

Why does brickipedia say that the hydra quicksilver set is being released in April rather than March? Is this true?

Agree. The Batman DC Superheroes sets are starting to be repetitive

DC uses Batman as a crutch so it's no surprise Lego does as well.

Overall I'm impressed with the new Marvel sets. All the Avengers sets are good; and the new images of the comic sets show promise too.

Obviously the Carnage set is an instant buy. Great figures, decent build, super cheap price! I love the Shield Agent, whose torso could work well for a classic-ish Nick Fury. Although I will admit, I was kinda hoping that we'd get a minifigure version of those trophy Agents from the Hellicarrier set! Wouldn't it be cute to get a plain minifigure in all dark blue with a smile face and Shield logo!

The Sandman set is also good. I don't think Rhino is amazing, and I know I'll be modding it slightly; but the more I see him the more I kind of like him. Sandman however is a slight disappointment, mainly because they decided to print sand on his torso, so we cannot have just a normal version--which is the thing we needed the most! :hmpf_bad:

Above all, I'm most excited to get my hands on the Antman set. I love the figures  --they're perfect, and I also love the "large" Lego bricks. The ant design is also nice. It just seems like such a fun set.

Green Goblin...I'm not a fan. But Lego will get my money eventually. They always do.

Wow. I don't think I have ever seen that before, is this the first time for a LEGO fig?

I really, really hope that this is the new trend. Perhaps it's a strategy to differentiate from Bootleggers? Either way, it's awesome.

I was looking through FBTB's photos. It seems the quinjet not only has a storage for cap's bike, but also has a space for some folks to stand in, much like the first quinjet cos there's a hinge piece at the back, after the flap which covers cap's bike space.

Do these sets release in June? I hope so since that's when the Winter Soldier promo is. That would be awfully evil of Lego to do otherwise. Some of use are already spending like $700 on Marvel this year alone!

Ant-Man comes out in June, the Spider-Man sets come out in August.

Also, I just realized that since the Ant-Man set is supposed to be miniature-scaled, we won' t get a mini Ant-Man.

I know that's my biggest complaint too, now he can't be tiny amongst my other figures

No it's not true, i called my local Lego store to make sure. They said they will get 6 sets on release date that is March 1

Also i'm sure it isn't canceled, how are they going to explain QS and Strucker on the character checklist?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Annoyingly no one took pictures of the back, so the wait goes on.

Yeah, they're not bad. Hopefully they have another face that isn't just *oh2*

I have a feeling we may see a shield agent polybag down the line.

Finally, another step to the classic Nick Fury. Now just remaining only the head and hair :classic:

Very nice photos, shame that ant man was not standing in a photos with his helmet and not with Hank´s

Its seems very odd as we all thought that they got the idea to put mini mini figs in the Helicarrier after they made one for ant man.

Yeah don't worry, it won't be canceled. You just received confirmation yourself! Thanks for asking by the way

Of course they do. Now I have to figure out what other sets to buy to get Winter Soldier. I'll probably wait to get the hydra showdown till then and then maybe I'll get some Iron Man vs Ultrons.

As for Antman, I was hoping for a microfig but if it was a tradeoff for the figs looking that good, then I'm alright with it.

These pictures really make me excited for Ant-Man and those Spiderman Sets! Like other's have said I'm annoyed that Lego could't bother to print new heads for some of these characters, especially Hank Pym. One thing that bothers me about the Avengers Sets is that Vision's gem stone on his head is Blue when it is obviously supposed to be Yellow. Not sure if I'm the only one who saw that, but it is really bothering me for some reason. Also whoever first reported on the Rhino Suit in the Super Villian Team Up Set on Brickset was waaaay off because it could use a lot of improvement.
