hockeyboy89 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 My TRU has the Quinjet, tower, hydra castle, and hydra chase. I didn't get any though Quote
elederberg Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Hope we get a UCS of that eventually. But even if we did, I doubt it would be large enough to land a quinjet on the deck. I would absolutely LOVE that. I know it's a long ways away but, anyone else feel like we are bound to get some really big D2C set when we get Infinity War sets? Like either a really big base or a really big ship of some kind. Quote

Hopefully down along the lines we will. possibly for civil war, it should be as tall as the tower of orthanc from two years ago, so we can get a good minifig compatible tower, or have it be a lot smaller and use microfigs. but i'd prefer minifigs. mediumsnowman Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Visited my local TRU today. They had all the AoU sets except for the Quinjet and Iron Man vs. Ultron, all in the regular Lego aisle. I picked up the Hulkbuster. I am quite impressed with it, I am currently working on a review. It should be up in the next few days! Quote
Zulithe Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Amazon.com may have hidden many of the new LEGO listings from its site, but a new one popped up for sale recently Hulk Buster! http://amzn.com/B00NHQFILA Quote

Its probably possible to get a nanofigure scale version with a nanoscale quinjet... would be interesting to see someone build that xD Quote
kevkipo Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Only 5 more days now! , I'm not even going to friendly greet the employees at the door. I'm just rushing to the sets and sprinting home Quote
Cmay91472 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Picked up the Hulk Buster Smash set at TRU. The one I went to had all of the sets, however after the one I purchased, there was only 1 Hulk Buster set left. They had plenty of all of the other sets including the Quinjet (I counted 6) Couldn't pull the trigger on the Quinjet set eventhough that was the one that interested me the most after the Hulkbuster, but after picking up the Helicarrier, couldn't justify spending an additional $80 just yet. I have a feeling that the Hulkbuster is going to be the most popular and hardest to keep on store shelves out of all the new Avengers sets. Quote
kevkipo Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Great, after watching Just2good's review over and over again, i want to buy the Quinjet :P I do have a question for you J2G, Is it price worthy? it's like 90 euro's over here Quote

Cammo Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 It's like 90 euro's over here I strongly advise you to wait or month or so and buy it on Amazon for like 70-75 EUR. It's already '70.21 EUR' on Amazon Spain right now. http://www.pricevortex.com/ That's what I did for the GotG-sets and I saved like 50 EUR in total Quote
Rayduh562 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Can anyone confirm for me that Iron man Mk 43 is in both the hulk buster and avengers tower? And the mk 45 is in the smallest set. Quote
Cmay91472 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Just looked at the two figures that I have so far. The one that came from the IM v Ultron has a pentagon on his chest. The one from the HBS set has a circle on his chest. I don't have the Tower so can not confirm which comes with that set. Quote

Price Justified! That's kinda why i want it, Vision, Ultron and Widow. i don't really have space for the big ship... but it's a nice model Edited February 23, 2015 by kevkipo Quote

That's kinda why i want it, Vision, Ultron and Widow. i don't really have space for the big ship... but it's a nice model It is a nice model. But assuming you are purchasing the Hulkbuster or Tower and I know you are getting the Fort, you could pawn off the duplicate Cap and Iron Man on the Secondary Market as well as the Jet, to regain some money. Butterfingers27 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Also, it hasn't been confirmed yet, but the Hulkbuster is the Mark 44. Quote

Nah i am planning on getting: Some Iron man vs Ultron (let's start with one) my fave Avengers Hawkeye and Thor so Hydra Showdown and off course Hydra Fortress After i have done that i plan on getting one more set in May, so it's either the Quinjet or Hulkbuster (cause i really don't like the tower at all) Quote
Quicksilver Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Just went to Toysrus to pick up my Hydra Fortress and the woman at the cashier had to go to the back room to get it as there was none on the shelfs. Asked her if there was any more sets in the back and she replied No. Quote
Ultron Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Also, it hasn't been confirmed yet, but the Hulkbuster is the Mark 44. Most likely. I doubt they'd skip 44 for no reason. Unless they consider Vision to be Mk 44 or some bologna like that Edited February 23, 2015 by Ultron Quote
Captain Nemo Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Also, it hasn't been confirmed yet, but the Hulkbuster is the Mark 44. According to the box art sitting in front of me, it is Mark 43 in the Hulkbuster set. Mark 45 is used in the Drone set, although it is not stated on the box. The character sheet on the back of the comic included in the Hulkbuster set lists only two Iron Men, 43 and 45. So it looks like there's no 44. Quote

jzlego Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Are the AoU sets coming out at the Lego store in March or in April? I feel like I've heard it both ways. The article that just came out on toysnbricks.com says the AoU sets are to be released in April, but I've seen talk here that implies that they will be officially available March 1st.I'd like to wait and pick them up during the March double VIP promotion at my local Lego store, but if they don't come out officially till April, I may have to pick up some at ToysRUs as soon as I find them.
