legofreak86 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Wait... Is Ultron stealing Iron Man? In the shot where the Shield falls of the Truck there is an Iron Man suit standing there. So, is Ultron stealing the Iron Man suit to create Vision? That would line up pretty well with the Lego set as Iron Man, Widow and Cap are chasing Ultron on a Truck. And if all this info lines up does that mean the Ultron on the Truck is Ultimate Ultron? You can clearly see from the lighter silver and the markings on the body that it is plus, unlike prime it has no red markings on the top of the head. I'd estimate that that sequence happens later in the film after ultron has upgraded to his final form. Whereas prime probably is the variant that most of the film has which says there are no strings on me and has appeared in hot toys. He does have the exact correct markings to the one we've seen primarily in the trailers. So clearly its an evolution in the film. Also did anyone else notice MK45 in the same sequence with all the drones, its clearly that version so i guess thats what the drone set is based on scene wise. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 So I guess that oughta be Black Widow on the bike in the Quinjet set instead of Cap, huh? Comicbook.com speculates that maybe the shiny yellow bit on Vision's forehead might be an Infinity Stone, particularly the Soul Gem. That would explain why we've seen so little of Vision, and maybe why he's on the Avengers' side instead of Ultron's? I'd say that would mean that we'd see more of Vision, since he would be far more important to Thanos getting all the gems. It might mean he bites the dust, too. Quote
LuxorV Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Though it is exciting (and you can offer a few by-passing links to the sets), please remember to keep the film/trailer talk to Culture and Multimedia. Here we discuss LEGO sets. Quote

That just makes Vision able to focus his lasers. That bothers me too, but not as much as some of the blatant mistakes they make with hair and face choices (2012 Hawkeye, 2012 Widow, Helicarrier Cap). I hate that too. They need to make more hair molds for women Well in fact it's is irritating. For that price I too expect "totally exclusive" Minifigures. Exactly. I expect all of the figs to have exclusivity to them and to be the highest quality possible, not lazy and jumbled together figures. Quote
Balbo Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) Now seeing the trailer I really can't wait to get my hands on these sets . I hope I can find the Hulkbuster as soon as possible. Edited March 4, 2015 by Balbo Quote
Quicksilver Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) So About that Ant Man Set... It has gotta be the best $20 Superheroes set and that's saying a lot considering some of the best superhero sets have been $20 including the Seaport Chase, Starblaster Showdown and Spider Cycle Chase. But in all seriousness the $20 price point sets have always been great sets. Hopefully in 2016 they do something simmilar to 2014 where they have 2 sets at the $20 price point in 1 wave. (Civil War?) I bet they just released this trailer to help sell a bunch of toys prior to the movie. All of the Lego sets had some reperensatation being, the Ultron Drones vs Mk45 at the end, Ultron and Cap fighting on a Cho Research Truck, Hawkeye jumping out of the Avengeep, The Hulkbuster Fight, Showing Avengers Tower from the outside and ,presumably, showing the Hydra Fortress in Sokovia. Yeah i believe 3 Civil war sets and 1 Doc Strange right? Quote

Yeah the $20 sets have almost all been excellent. That includes DC as well. I agree that Ant Man may well be the best one yet- 3 seemingly awesome minifigures, giant Lego bricks, and what looks like a pretty good ant. Long may it continue! I'm not sure how they'll do Doctor Strange sets given the November release date, but I'd probably be content with just one $20 set featuring Strange, the main villain, and another main character. I'm guessing Civil War will get an AoU type wave. Yeah i believe 3 Civil war sets and 1 Doc Strange right? Is that a suggestion or inside knowledge? Just noticed from the trailer that Vision's forehead gem is yellow, so it's a bit of a shame that the Lego one has it in blue. Still looks like a cracking minifigure. Well if Civil War will be Marketed as large as the film is, we better get more than 3 sets. When Baron Zemo, Widow, Cap, Iron Man, Black Panther, Falcon, and presumably Spidey are all in the same movie they better have a large marketing campaign! And Knowing Lego, they wouldn't just limit those characters to 2 or 3 sets. Quote

Brickcraz Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I think that lego upped there game on the hulk. I also like the new halkeye, black widow, and Ironman. The cap is good except the face and the Thor is good exept the hair. Quote
Quicksilver Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) Okay. Back On Topic! So, has anyone tried putting The Hulk in the motorcycle drop feature on the Quinjet yet? I really want to see if that is possible. I think that lego upped there game on the hulk. I also like the new halkeye, black widow, and Ironman. The cap is good except the face and the Thor is good exept the hair. Yeah, why couldn't they put a neutral face on Cap rather than a smiley face? It's going to look really Awkward when all the Avengers are ticked off battling Ultron and Lego Cap is just there. Smiling. :) Edited March 4, 2015 by Quicksilver Quote

Quicksilver Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Or have given him his smiley face in the fortress and an angry face in the quinjet. This is why we need a helmet for him I guess that would work. But the problem is Caps helmet is Skin Tight and not thick compared to the flash's Helmet, so a helmet would look odd on a MCU accurate Cap. Neutral face is also an issue on a few Other figs such as Cyclops and Drax, as they had a neutral face and looks out of place in a fighting MOC or scene. Quote

They should just start including alternate heads that you can swap in and out then! Quote
Quicksilver Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 They should just start including alternate heads that you can swap in and out then! That would be nice for us fans but that would get a tad expensive for Lego as the heads are most likely the hardest part to print. Quote
Butterfingers27 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 This Cap isn't nearly as bad as the variant we got last year. That being said, my Cap hardly has the default headgear on anyways. Quote
