The Lego Nolan Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Would we be able to see skrulls in the GOTG sets if they come out? Yes we could see them and silver surfer because they have Both appeared in marvels other cartoons. Quote
Quicksilver Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Even if Marvel has permission to use Silver Surfer in the cartoon and Lego sets (and I don't see why they wouldn't, I thought it was just movie rights that Fox had), it's unlikely they would risk promoting Fantastic Four by using him. I thought that was just for movies, not for cartoons. Yeah it is just for movies but Marvel/Disney would not dare to promote Fox characters. But then again, Wolverine, Dr.Doom amd Juggernaut have made guest appearances on Ultimate Spiderman. Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Has anyone planned on changing any minifigures in the summer wave of sets. Cause I'm planning on getting two of the antman set, and using the different combinations of antman costumes to make the three different antmans from the comics and the extra yellowjacket body to make a wasp figure. Then i'll get two of the carnage set, and use the extra spiderman to make a superior spiderman figure then use the extra shield agent to make a classic nick fury figure. Quote
Brickcraz Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 There has aready been two Nick Furie minefiguers released. It would be a waste to make another Nick Furie. Use it for something better. Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Ya that's right i'll have to think on who'll make then. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 If we're going to see Silver Surfer any time soon, I'd say it'd be in a Guardians of the Galaxy animated set. Otherwise, it's a matter of the Fantastic Four movie and the next X-Men bombing so unbelievably hard that they hitch up with Marvel like Sony did. Are Skrulls specifically in the FF movie rights? They've been doing stuff with the Kree and the Inhumans on Agents of SHIELD lately, and there's been mention of the Kree's involvement in a very massive war against a currently-unnamed enemy. Depending on the direction this new series takes, we may see some animated Skrulls, but I'd be interested in seeing what Marvel would do in live-action with them. Were the Skrulls the alien race that Whedon wanted for Avengers but couldn't have? Because that's starting to sound familiar. Marvel_Geek, try that stuff over here at the Purist Superhero Customs thread. As an aside, I'd be interested in seeing a classic Hasselhoff-era Nick Fury minifig. Quote
brickpreviews Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 EHH DONT SAY IT Okay i'm getting it Nice, I just brought my yesterday as well. Way to good of a set to be missed. Better spend the money now than regret it years down the road Quote
kevkipo Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Nice, I just brought my yesterday as well. Way to good of a set to be missed. Better spend the money now than regret it years down the road I did kinda regret, not getting the Milano. But the only big REALLY big sets i've ever bought where The Lonely Mountain wich is amazing! and the Parasian restaurant and i still ask myself why i've bought that it could go either way but it's worth a shot. i'm just gonna spend my money on Ultron drones otherwise anyway Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) Hey just read that the skrulls are shared between 20th century and marvel, just like quicksilver and Scarlett witch. So there is no reason that they can't put them in the GOTG sets. I will go to that page to talk about customs, sorry about that. Edited March 13, 2015 by Marvel_Geek Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Wait, are they not selling the Milano anymore?? I still need Gamora, Drax, and Ronan! Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) Just read a post on comicbook.com that describes the hulkbuster vs. Hulk scene and the set is pretty accurate to the scene. Edited March 13, 2015 by Marvel_Geek Quote
Quicksilver Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Wait, are they not selling the Milano anymore?? I still need Gamora, Drax, and Ronan! I think it is still selling in North America but they took it off the German market last year because, in the German Lego catalouge the GOTG sets were not advertised but the Lone XMEN set and USM sets from last year. Also about 2ish weeks ago there was a report on this thread from Legends Of Ninjago that Walmart at the Milano on Clearance. Quote

I didn't see the Milano, though. I'll have to check Toys R Us next time I'm there.. Quote
Gilberto_Aguilera Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Quick question, who here thinks that they have the largest ultron sentry drone army? I just recently bought one, and if like to see what a lot of them look together, so as to decide whether or not to buy some more, so if you have quite a lot would you please take a picture of all of them? Quote
Dadster Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 For the Milano - try K-Mart and Target. K-Mart rarely does any (real) clearance and I know a local one that has about 4 of them. Quote
elederberg Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Downloaded. Somehow I found the instructions for legs but none for the hands. Am I missing something? Thanks for the link. ^^ Same here. I wonder why that is and hope that there's a fix for it. Quote

I've gotten 4 sets so now I have 12 drones. I'm definitely going to get more I'm just not sure if I want to get them with the set or separate on Bricklink. Quote

I have 30 Drones currently. My goal is either 64 or 100. Just waiting on my local stores to restock lol. Quote
Ultron Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 My goal is either 64 or 100. That is a large difference in funds Quote
Quicksilver Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 LOOKEE GUYS Aww Yeah! Quicksilver looks very accurate to his Lego Counterpart and so does Scarlet Witch. But once again, Scarlet Witch's Power are Red! Quote
BrickSev Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Aww Yeah! Quicksilver looks very accurate to his Lego Counterpart and so does Scarlet Witch. But once again, Scarlet Witch's Power are Red! Not to mention the fact in the Minifigure they look more like "energy blades" than "power". Perhaps it's because they have been actually used to represent energy blades in older sets, Galaxy Squad ones for example Quote
Amset-Rah Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Those pieces originated in Galaxy Squad, if memory serves me. But yeah, Quicksilver is very accurate, almost spot on with his minifig counterpart. I feel they could have used another hairpiece with Scarlet Witch though, judging by the pic. Quote

I would have preferred the one Starfire is getting, in brown of course, if you want the pink you can just put bubblegum on the minifigure head. Quote
