Numbuh1Nerd Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Yeah, well, Joker put a pencil through a dude's head, they still made him into a figure. Hell, Daredevil never even did any of that, just the bad guys. They don't even need to put the show's logo on there, just call it Daredevil. Maybe if it was a Daredevil-based set that'd be decent argument, but this is just a preorder bonus minifigure. An actual comics-based Daredevil set like the bonus level in Lego Marvel Superheroes would be appreciated though. Daredevil, Elektra, Kingpin, and maybe Bullseye. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) In my eyes, if I were LEGO. It'd be a smart move to wait to market the MCU's Daredevil. But if you read Mark Waid's run. It's not anything like the TV show. Thus my argument how a USM set would've been ideal. EDIT: But a Daredevil promotional red suit figure wouldn't be bad. He fits into the MCU like it or not. And if it's a promotional piece I don't think that'll worry a lot of people... Edited April 20, 2015 by NuffSaid1996 Quote

He's the best Daredevil villian! Maybe if we got a Black Suit/ Ninja costume Daredevil we the pre order, we could get the armoured one in Infinity War/ Civil War sets. Numbuh1Nerd Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Thanks for all the spoilers guys... What spoilers? They put the red suit on the show's icon on Netflix, it's not like they're trying to hide it. Quote

Scarilian Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I kind of agree with Super Goblin that the information can be considered a spoiler, even if names are not included it still describes events that you know will now happen in the show. On the otherhand though... All the episodes of Daredevil has been out for 10 days and they didnt mention names, plus the comment was relevant to someones question about the maturity of the show. -shrugs- Quote

jtslimshady Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 A Daredevil set would be awesome! The show is so amazingly done and if you have not watched it yet I highly recommend it. It is leagues better than arrow and the flash combined, although I love them too. There could be a set with a breakable truck, daredevil (red suit), and kingpin like the very end of the last episode! As fantastic as that would be, it's most likely not gonna happen. Due to the MA rating. I think our only chance at getting a tv daredevil minifig would be as an exclusive polybag. A comic book fig in a spiderman set. Or maybe a small set from sdcc or something of the sort. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Currently making a comic based DD set. It'll be good. And I'm not sure if it should go in here, so once I'm done, I'll post it on a respective forum. Just wanted to update. (Sorry to any mods if that was against the rules!) Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) Could just do what's happened over in the DC thread and plead for a character. Good idea . Anyone in particular you were thinking of, because I have someone in mind . I think we should have a "SDCC 2015 exclusives guessing game" thread Better not be Daredevil, not a fan of him personally, but I don't see how Lego would make it out of there alive if they did that. adotnamedstud Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Would be interested to see how that turns out, you planning on a custom Daredevil figure? It'll be based off of Mark Waid's DD so it doesn't exactly suggest any relation to the MA show. It seems like the best route. Quote
