Accuracy of sets are very good actually, excellent in fact, only thing I can spot is that the vehicle in the Army Pack wasn't in the movie.

Still, nowhere close to Mandarin's Flamethrower Go-Cart.

Thanks for the details. Those $12.99 sets must be pretty hard to get accurate. (IE Avenger Cycle, Flamethrower Lawnmower and Spider Trike)

Does anybody have any info on, 5002125 Electro polybag , I really want this, but, can't find anything about it. Plus don't want to pay Ebay and Bricklink prices for it, $100+! Ouch!!

I know they were available at Kidfest in Virgina, IIRC. But, that was the last I heard!

Thanks, Jamie

Is that a guess or reliable information??

Jamie

It's been stated for a few months already. Toysrus even had it posted on their website for a day or two but took the listing off

What about winter soldier figure is that soon as well?

Free with purchase at Lego stores in June I believe...I only that for the US

Great thanks :thumbup:

I was hoping they weren't in the movie, cause of people nagging about how they where becoming transformers!

luckely that didn't happen

Stucker's Base and the Hulk trap were not movie accurate. Also, the Truck that came with the Vision, not movie accurate at all.

Flying Drone vehicle - I did not see in the film, but I weren't looking out for it.

I don't recall seeing the buggy either, but I could be wrong as there was A LOT going on at that point in the film.

However, the Tank in the Stucker set is very accurate.

Ok, seen the movie and have some general accuracy comments;

Only Ultron variants in order are the following;

Ultron Mk 1 (Avengers Tower set)

Ultron Prime (Hulkbuster Smash set)

Ultron Prime Mk 2 (Avengers Quinjet City Chase)

Ultimate Ultron (Not given a figure)

Ultron drone (Red version - when Ultron speaks through them)

There are also generic blue drones, but would'nt class them as Ultron

As for set accuracies/inaccuracies;

- Flying Drone Vehicle;

Not in the movie, although some of the Ultrons do transform pieces of themselves to create additional jet boosters in one scene, so guess thats where the inspiration came from.

- Quinjet City Chase;

Vision is definitely innacurate, never blue from what i saw. Truck is way too small, should have been something like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set 'Big Rig Snow Getaway'

- Strucker's base;

While a tower is mentioned, we never actually see a tower. No builds in the set are accurate other than the tank (colour scheme is completely incorrect) and the gate. Tree is also innacurate for those wondering.

- Hulkbuster set;

Hulkbuster seems accurate though scaled up. Prison is innacurate to movie version, though has a similar general design, possibly based on earlier concept art.

---

All the Ultron variants seem accurate, though we are definitely missing the final form of Ultron.

As for thoughts on the movie;

- Better than the first in my view, very quick film that flew past. Some scenes were random and made the first part of the movie feel like a collection of scenes. Some scenes from trailers missing, feels like they had a lot more that has been cut. Gets better during the later acts of the film despite falling for a few cliches. Some incredibly beautiful looking scenes, kind of like the final encounter with Ronan in GOTG. Ending will annoy many...

When you guys are putting spoiler tags could you say what it refers to.

Thanks

The point of spoiler tags is to...not spoil anything. So referring to anything inside the tag (outside of the tag) negates the point of it entirely. :wink:

Or you know, we could all just stop posting movie spoilers in the set discussion thread!--you know, so the rest of us don't get our entire movie experience ruined...Eurobricks spoilers killed baby Groot for me last year, and I'd prefer it if my Avengers 2 experience is not also destroyed.

Anyone ever heard of this thread? "Marvel Cinematic Universe"

Anyone have any idea as to why include the plain black head in the ant man set? At first i thought it may have like mask printing, so that ant man can have the "full helmet" look, and not have the unaccurate mouth gap. But now i see that its completely blacl, so like....what gives?
