Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I think Coulson is just wishful thinkment Quote
ZionAzure Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I could see Coulson showing up in an USM set. He is a big part of the show but i dont think he will be in AOU. That being said they really need to put out a White Tiger so I can complete my set from USM. Quote
frebbyl Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I think Coulson is just wishful thinkment True, Coulson doesn't exist in the Avengers continuity anymore, right. Or did they find out that Coulson is still alive. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 None of the Avengers now he is alive At the moment. Quote
frebbyl Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 None of the Avengers now he is alive At the moment. So the only possible way for him to be in sets is if he reveals that he is alive in A2:AOU. Quote
Rocketeer53 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 So the only possible way for him to be in sets is if he reveals that he is alive in A2:AOU. Or if we get a set of the Plane from AoS (if it gets a third season) Quote
Borex Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Why do y'all want a coulson minifig? It's just a dude from shield. Nothing spectacular, right? I don't get the love for paying for a dull minifig when it could be an actual superhero. Quote
rexusprime Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I've asked a Lego Store assistant if he knows anything about the upcoming Marvel wave. He said no and that they don't know the sets until the internet knows them. Do you think he was lying? I mean come on how does a lego store doesn't have prototype catalogue. Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 According to Hothbricks (http://www.hothbricks.com/2014/08/nouveautes-lego-2015-recapitulatif-rumeurs/) there are 6 marvel sets one numbered 76041 and Brainiac Attack 76040 which is different which means it is an exclusive which is most likely Avengers Tower Quote

LEGO Store employes are the least likely to see the catalog- they get mandatory shipments of every new LEGO set. The catalog isn't for recreational purposes, but for whether or not a store should order certain sets. Quote

Ultron Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Could have sworn Brainiac was DC though.... He is, I think what MODOCTORDOOM is saying is that the Braniac set, 76040, is going to be an exclusive and we have confirmation that the set numbered 76041 is a Marvel set which would lead one to believe we will be getting an exclusive of some sort. So 5 Avengers sets and 1 exclusive possibly. Quote

I don't get the love for paying for a dull minifig when it could be an actual superhero. The AoS show is very mediocre in my opinion I would rather use the idea of a Coulson figure on at least a lesser known hero or villain (Dormammu, Shuma gorath, x-23, Banshee) He is, I think what MODOCTORDOOM is saying is that the Braniac set, 76040, is going to be an exclusive and we have confirmation that the set numbered 76041 is a Marvel set which would lead one to believe we will be getting an exclusive of some sort. TheLegoDr Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I'd much prefer cheaper sets with more exclusive figures. Like many, I don't want to spend ALL of my money on one theme. If prices are lower, more people will be able to purchase them and that means larger revenue overall for LEGO. If they sell a few of the more expensive sets great, but if they sell more of the cheaper sets, it could benefit them greatly. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Well the Spidey set was a exclysive for the first wave. It could be the Ant-Man set. Quote
Ceroknight Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 How does this topic have over 30 pages of posts without knowing anything about the sets except prices?? Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Coulson is a fan-favorite character, though. People want Stan Lee, too, and he's just some old dude design-wise. Plus decent SHIELD attire means an easy army of SHIELD agents. I think if we do see him it'll either be in an USM set after this Web Warriors thing is over or in an Avengers set later on. Also, Agents of SHIELD is Avengers continuity; with that logic, the Guardians of the Galaxy don't exist either. Do you guys think the reason that we haven't seen any of the Marvel wave yet is because of the Chitauri leaks from the first Avengers? It'd make sense for Marvel to be hesitant to let Lego reveal anything for Avengers 2 when they spoiled the first one on accident that way. Quote

Ashnflash Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Coulson would be great with the destroyer gun like in LMS. He could have a double sided face with his glasses. Also how do we know Coulson won't be in AOU if Fury and Hill are? Quote

Awesomeguy Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 i hope we get Spider-Man sets this year and here is my wish list of characters for Spider-Man sets Kraven the Hunter White Tiger Rhino Sandman Kingpin Daredevil Mysterio Shocker Peter Parker Harry Osborn Norman Osborn a new design for Spider-Man Carnage a classic Green Goblin but I did love the big fig goblin Vulture The Thing he a appears in the show and maybe Phil Coulson. Because he is in Ultimate Spider-Man so why not. I think that if we get Spider-Man sets this year we will get White Tiger and if we get her then we would get Kraven because in the show he fights her and Spider-Man. I think that the villains we would be getting would be Sandman, Kraven, and Rhino. Quote
