K-Nut Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 And about Ragnarok, we have had enough spidey i think it's time for a Thor set finally! by the way we'll probably get Spidey in Civil war/Infinity war The thing is, we all know how much TLG loooooooves Spidey. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Well, they better That was my idea as well, for every new solo movie a 20$ set, would be a good problem solver! And about Ragnarok, we have had enough spidey i think it's time for a Thor set finally! by the way we'll probably get Spidey in Civil war/Infinity war I would love more $20 sets based on solo movies. But, I do however love Spidey. He has so much more potential, I would love to see more of him. Quote
SMC Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 A £20 set for every movie would be great. Almost all £20 SH sets are great anyway. Quote
kevkipo Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 A £20 set for every movie would be great. Almost all £20 SH sets are great anyway. Yup! Doc Strange, Spidey, Thor 3, Black Panther and Cap Marvel... sounds good to me! Quote
Chookdude Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Knowing the lego group they will give us 80 sets based on the Spider-Man movie they seem to love him that much Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I definitely want to see more love given to the solo MCU films from Lego. There was a big missed opportunity for some cool sets from Thor and The Winter Soldier. Quote
Neomars Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 The thing is, we all know how much TLG loooooooves Spidey. Well he is the single most profitable super hero of all time.... Quote
kevkipo Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 But we all know Marvel has more in their pack than just Avengers and Spidey, i mean look at how much Guardians sets where sold! and you mark my words in a few weeks every kid has a Yellowjacket and Ant-Man lying in his Lego bin! It's affordable and a good way to have a nice amount of important characters for parents I mean look at this: 2015 - Ant Man - Yellowjacket - Hank Pym - Brick Built ant 2016 - Stephen Strange - Dormammu - Brickbuilt Mindless one - Mordo 2017 - Spidey - ??? - ??? - Thor - Loki - Brick built Surtur - Heimdall (Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg ???) ( Personally i'd like to see Fandral some day) 2018 - T'Challa - Tribesman - Ullyses Klaw - Cap Marvel - Kree soldier (???) - ??? and so forth! Quote
rodiziorobs Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 - Brick built Surtur - Heimdall (Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg ???) ( Personally i'd like to see Fandral some day) And Sif--you can't forget the Lady Sif. Oh, and what the heck, throw in an Odin while you're at it, with a crow. However, I doubt they will make any Thor 3 sets; it seems like if there is one movie they will pass on creating sets for it is that one, and I doubt we'll see sets for all Marvel movies they release that year. They still have to devote some resources to the Distinguished Competition, after all. Quote

Risgrynsgrot Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I'm sorry to bring it to you, but Odin is probably not alive anymore He's definitively alive. Odin is much more powerful than Loki, and if a character "dies" offscreen he's not really dead. Quote
kevkipo Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Owh really? well thats strange... what happened at the end of Thor 2 then? Quote
VictorFrenchFries Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Odin just sorta disappears. NOBODY KNOWS WHERE HE IS... Quote

Ultron Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 So I know this is more of a 2016 thing and I already posted it in the multimedia thread, but here's an idea of what a Crossbones fig could look like if we get sets for Civil War next year. Quote

Oh we will absolutely get sets for Civil War. I mean it's Avengers 2.5! And That guy looks awesome, Quote
Master_Data Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) So I know this is more of a 2016 thing and I already posted it in the multimedia thread, but here's an idea of what a Crossbones fig could look like if we get sets for Civil War next year. Love it! Don't remember him from the comics, but I didn't read many in the first place. I guess the only downside about a figure of him is that he won't get a helmet; they'll just print it on. Oh well, looks like he has potential anyway. Edited May 15, 2015 by Master_Data Quote

Robianco Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 With the greatest of respect... What do spoiler covered images of characters from a film being released in the future have to do with this year's sets?! There's a dedicated thread in Media & Culture for god's sake! Quote
K-Nut Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 With the greatest of respect... What do spoiler covered images of characters from a film being released in the future have to do with this year's sets?! They don't. Quote
SMC Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 ^ ^^ Well this topic is for talking about what marvel sets and figures we might get, the 2015 part is mainly so we can start a new topic every year for no real reason. Those are pictures are of people we will probably get figures for. But lets all moan about people being off topic because that's much better that people sharing something new when there is not a lot to talk about. Quote
Robianco Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) It's not about what Marvel sets we might get. It's about rumours and discussion. That means discussion of those rumours. We used to have to provide a source for any rumours to prove it wasn't just conjecture, but that seems to have gone out of the window. There's a Future Sets thread if people want to post a picture for Civil War and say 'Hey... Do you think we'll get this?' On a forum populated by adults it shouldn't be a difficult concept to follow. The thing is once we get to know all the sets for 2015 and even discussed those sets once released the thread SHOULD die... it will have served it's purpose. At the moment we don't know even know what the UK's SH promo figure will be since we had Winter Soldier during the Hellicarrier launch.. so there are still things to talk about here. I just don't think leaked pictures of characters that may or may not feature in over a year's time are relevant. We didn't get sets for either of the Captain America films to date so there's no guarantee we'll get sets for this one... it's more than likely.. but as yet we've had nothing. kevkipo Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Sorry got caught up in the moment, but what do you guys want to talk about then? i mean everything (except SDCC) is pretty much covered... Quote
SMC Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I think a lot of people want a Marvel Lego topic where we talk about what ever is interesting at that moment in time, not 5 different marvel topics that are hardly used. Same goes for DC and so on. Quote
