SMC Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 i hope we get Spider-Man sets this year and here is my wish list of characters for Spider-Man sets Kraven the Hunter White Tiger Rhino Sandman Kingpin Daredevil Mysterio Shocker Peter Parker Harry Osborn Norman Osborn a new design for Spider-Man Carnage a classic Green Goblin but I did love the big fig goblin Vulture The Thing he a appears in the show and maybe Phil Coulson. Because he is in Ultimate Spider-Man so why not. I think that if we get Spider-Man sets this year we will get White Tiger and if we get her then we would get Kraven because in the show he fights her and Spider-Man. I think that the villains we would be getting would be Sandman, Kraven, and Rhino. Out of those I would pick 1. NEW design for Spider-Man 2. Green Goblin like the one for the old sets 3. Gwen Stacy 4. Peter Parker Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Maybe like Batman, Spiderman will have different costumes. Even in the comics, Spider-Man has more diverse suits than Batman. Quote

KCMatze Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I still have no clue how the only variation is from the old sets and the SCDD version... Come on LEGO! Quote
frebbyl Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I would love a Thing. Well, they did do Fury from the show, so I don't see why not. Perhaps a set with Coulson and White Tiger? Well I think the USM sets would be based off the new season, Web Warriors, and so far, he hasn't appeared. That is most likely because the season is about Spidey forming his own team, so I don't think TLG wants to make guys like Agent Venom, Ironp Spider, Vulture, Ka-Zar, Cloak, Dagger, and Squirrel Girl, and only Spidey and (maybe) Taskmaster would be repeats. S1DIMMER Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Anyone else think LEGO should change the way they do the heads of Captain America and Spiderman? They should do it like the Flash minifigure. The stud on the tops of the current heads is distracting and looks terrible in my opinion. Quote
EdWebhead Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Anyone else think LEGO should change the way they do the heads of Captain America and Spiderman? They should do it like the Flash minifigure. The stud on the tops of the current heads is distracting and looks terrible in my opinion. It would be great for Captain America as he wears a helmet, but I don't think it would work for Spidey. He wears a mask that covers his whole face and I think a separate piece would make his head way too big. Quote
KCMatze Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) Well...for Cap I would sign that. But Spidey? The stud IS lego and he technically does not have anything outstanding on his head but a piece of cloth...so I think spidey would not work well. EDIT: beat me to that EZN :-P Edited August 29, 2014 by KCMatze Quote
S1DIMMER Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 What about a cap to round the head out similar to the Grandpa minifig from series 10 without the hair added. For some reason the stud just throws me off. Quote
KCMatze Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 But aren't the studs the thing that make lego to lego? Otherwise, if it would look nothing like that it would not stay true to the lego-look anymore... Quote

I put some hair on him and it helps alot, its not super accurate that that version of Cyclops, but I can't stand the bare stud. It's ok if the character is bald like Capt. Hardy in the Battle for Smallville set, it's just the stud on what should be a mask, helmet, cowel...etc. Edited August 29, 2014 by Rocketeer53 Quote
ZionAzure Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 i dont mind the stud. it gives it the classic lego look. i couldnt imagine all these guys running around with round tops. Quote
Ultron Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Out of those I would pick 1. NEW design for Spider-Man 2. Green Goblin like the one for the old sets 3. Gwen Stacy 4. Peter Parker You want a rehash of the green goblin from the old spider-man theme? I'll take the classic look that appeared in the game; the real green goblin we've yet to see in a movie.. What about a cap to round the head out similar to the Grandpa minifig from series 10 without the hair added. For some reason the stud just throws me off. That would look bad imo. I don't mind the stud, I just want a new variant because the current one sucks hardcore. I do second the helmet for cap though, he could surely use one Quote

Part of me wouldn't mind a Ka-Zar minifigure if only to make up for the lack of X-Men related characters. Quote
frebbyl Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Part of me wouldn't mind a Ka-Zar minifigure if only to make up for the lack of X-Men related characters. Ugh, if it were that easy. He is a teenager who joins (I think) Spider-Man's team of Web-Warriors... If we ever get Ka-Zar, it would probably be a comic-con exclusive. Quote
rome00150 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 If we are going to get two spiderman sets what do you think they will be? I am hoping for a comic green goblin Quote
namioik Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Possibly comic version of electro, in the preliminary photos he was suppose to be in the smaller spider man set of 2014 Quote

john386 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) I hope we get some more spider-man sets without Doc-Ock. Because Lego there is more villains to Spider-Man and Batman than Doc-Ock and the Joker. Give us Kraven the Hunter, Rhino, Sandman, Kingpin, Vulture, Mysterio, Shocker, and for Batman give us Ra's al Ghul, Firefly, Killer Croc, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Black Mask, Hugo Strange. Ashnflash Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 ^ ^ This is a Marvel page NO batman here. About Electro I don't know if you remember but we were going to get a classic electro instead of usm version. Quote
namioik Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Really? That would have been way cooler. Do you know where I can find those photos? It's been a year, I can't help you there Quote

Captain Nemo Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 https://www.flickr.c...157638157592514 He is also on an exclusive LEGO Club meeting shirt Ah, yes--Electro was on that shirt, I remember seeing pictures of it in the Lego email updates (Whatever they're called). I'd be fine if we got a Classic Electro in one of these new sets. Although I think the figure way overdue is a Classic Green Goblin. Of any of the Marvel villains, I think he may be the one we need the most right now...that and of course more X-Men (Any of them at this point). Quote
