Neomars Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I really dislike the fact the goblin is going to be two thirds the price of the set in the after market. At that ratio I would normally just buy the set but it doesn't really come with anything else appealing. Quote
Borex Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I just saw the juniors set overhere in the Netherlands selling for 36,95€. I really want Green Goblin but no way i'm paying that kinda money for a set like that. No carnage or antman set alas :-( Quote
DarthBrickus Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I built the small glider Green Goblin uses in the game to display him, and while he is a nice figure, his facial expression is somehow off. He doesnt really fit in with the non-juniors villains imho. Still WAY better than the Bigfig Version. Blerch. Quote
SMC Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 ^ I agree that green goblin doesn't really fit you can see the junior in him unlike the other junior sets we have got, the other figures are really poor and even yellow. The parts are not usful but still I will get it. Quote
strangely Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Preorder bonus for Lego A vengers at Gamestop. Quote
just2good Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Preorder bonus for Lego A vengers at Gamestop. What is it? Quote
strangely Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 It was a silver centurion minifigure, an Iron Man variant I guess. They were advertising it at my local gamestop. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Meh, not a surprising choice. I'm kind of Iron Manned out--this one is indeed unique (and he looks great) but after so many other near identical Iron Man variations, I'm not enthusiastic about getting any more. I wish they would have picked a new character. Quote
K-Nut Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 I am really surprised they didn't go with Coulson, seeing how much he frequents the MCU. I think the figure looks nice, but just a little odd. Quote
Neomars Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 It was a silver centurion minifigure, an Iron Man variant I guess. They were advertising it at my local gamestop. Would've really preferred a new character but dang does that have arm and side leg printing? Nice very nice. Quote
Ultron Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 That printing is awesome! Why can't every iron man get printing like that!? Quote
Quicksilver Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Woah. That is awesome. Odd choice though considering the Silver Centurion was in the MCU for 48 seconds in Iron Man 3. So I guess this means no Coulson for a while? Hopefully the Mark 46, For Civil War sets, can have that level of printing. For reference here's the Mark 33, Silver Centurion From Iron Man 3. http://miftyisbored.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/iron-man-3-mark-XXXIII-silver-centurion-14.jpg Edited May 30, 2015 by Quicksilver Quote
deskp Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) That looks overly elaborate, hope the torso under is printed. Fun stuff. Edited May 30, 2015 by deskp Quote
teletraanconvoy Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 The printing on that Iron Man is awesome. But.. another Iron Man? I'm Tired of Iron Man. Quote
Darth Carlos Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Cool another Iron Man variant! Can't wait to add this suit to my collection. Nice printing on arms and side of legs. Lego is stepping up on their minifigs. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 One of the highest grossing Marvel movies was Iron Man 3, and enough people were begging for an Iron Legion and so far, we're building up nicely. Would something else have been nice? Sure. But with the level of this printing I think/hope anyone can overlook that fact that it's another Iron Man, because I can live with this. Quote
Quicksilver Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Now that I'm thinking about it more, it makes more scene to have the Armoured Avenger as the preorder for Lego Marvel's Avengers rather than having Coulson or Daredevil. Also this marks the 10th Iron Man suit to date being, the Mark 6, Mark 7, Mark 17 (Heartbreaker), Mark 42, Mark 43, Hulkbuster, Mark 45, War Machine, Iron Patriot and Mark 33 (Silver Centurion.) Robert8 Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 How many Iron Man minifigures do we have by now? Quote
Butterfingers27 Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 https://flic.kr/p/tw7VNx Preorder bonus for Lego A vengers at Gamestop. !!!!!! I hope there's printing underneath the armor, but that is awesome. Quote
namioik Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 How many Iron Man minifigures do we have by now? 7 armors, one war machine, and one iron patriot. This does not include the NYTF figure Quote
Legocity2713 Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 So that arc reactor is a tile right? Pretty sweet. I'd like to get multiples of that piece. Great in any Iron Man MOC. Quote
Steph 104th Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 That is an Iron Man variant that many people make customs of, nice to have an official one Quote
wilson3a10 Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 ........ Strange. I thought it was a mark 35. But why they put a one piece armour suit there. Looks very strange. Quote
DarthBrickus Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 ........ Strange. I thought it was a mark 35. But why they put a one piece armour suit there. Looks very strange. It's based on Comic's Mark 8. Which explains the giant pauldrons. Quote
