Ah, yes--Electro was on that shirt, I remember seeing pictures of it in the Lego email updates (Whatever they're called). I'd be fine if we got a Classic Electro in one of these new sets. Although I think the figure way overdue is a Classic Green Goblin. Of any of the Marvel villains, I think he may be the one we need the most right now...that and of course more X-Men (Any of them at this point).

This.

Thanks, if they finished classic electro it would have been so much better than what we got

Why is there so much dislike of the new Electro? I kind-of like him... without him I would never have been able to do my Amazing Spider-man 2 diorama... XD

Seriously though, yes I'd prefer classic, but why is there so much hate for the new one?

I love the new Electro...

...as Iceman!

Sure, it may be problematic translating a being made of elecricity into Lego minifig form, but whatcha gonna do?

Well actually USM Electro is comic book canon, he came out in the comic of the same name in 2000. I think he looks great, comic wise and movie wise. Don't think the yellow and green spandex would have looked very good on screen :P

Although I dig classic electro an I think he'd look great as a MF. Ultimate electro still looks pretty badass ;)

Well that movie was pretty bad, so I guess...

Thank you! Exactly!

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about "Ultimate" comics....

The helmet mold.... man, I can think of quite a few interesting uses for that!

I think that this would have been cool the see on screen, it would also be cool as a minifig if LEGO doesn't wanna make the helmet.

Anyone else think LEGO should change the way they do the heads of Captain America and Spiderman? They should do it like the Flash minifigure. The stud on the tops of the current heads is distracting and looks terrible in my opinion.

Oh god no, that would've been terrible. IMO they should have done the flash figure like how they did Cap and Spiderman, and just in this case add printed lightning bolts to the sides of the head, Lego has done it in the past with the wings on Captain America's mask.

When?

Oh crap they haven't. None of them do, NYTF, Avengers and Avengers Assemble all lack. Must have been a custom I saw.

The only figure with actual side-of-head printing I can think of is the Star Wars fleshie Lobot that came with the Bespin planet.

Flash looks amazing to me in person, though, and I really hope Cap gets that treatment. It wouldn't make any sense for Spider-Man, whose mask is really skin tight, but Cap's costume in the films has a thick helmet that looks like a real-life version of LEGO's Flash mask, size-wise.

I agree completely. Then they can give us some hair to put on Steve too! Unless they go the way of printing the head like they did with Flash...

I think a regular flesh head would work fine. All he needs is a printed chin strap for displaying him with the mask, as well as an alternate face without one for displaying him as Steve Rogers. Kind of like the new Wolverine with the goggles.

Exactly, he would not even require the goggle treatment. The alternate face chin strap idea is all we need.

Actually more like the Nova Corpsman from GotG, has anybody tried putting Flash's Helmet on him?

It looks okay

So I covered up the yellow lightning bolts with my fingers and changed the hue and colour on my laptop to get it to blue. It looks ok, really. I feel it's just slightly too big/thick, but it seems to do the trick.
