Neomars Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I am ok with this. So sad I couldn't get a Rocket Warbird set last year (only because of the Red Rocket) and then he came out in a polybag. Already have 40+ drones and this doesn't look terribly complicated to reconstruct. And on the topic of exclusive figs I think they have become a lot nicer to us fans. The Collector isn't a high character on people's minifig wish list and he will possibly get a redo in a Guardians 2 set. Plus we now know they will remake figures of fan favorites like Green Lantern/Arrow. Still won't forgive them for TASM2 Spidey though..... Quote
Steph 104th Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I'm fine with the throne,it doesn't make me envious of those that will acquire it. Quote
Cammo Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I think it's a great exclusive, I just hope they don't give us an exclusive Suicide Squad figure... Quote
Ordinareo Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I think it's a great exclusive, I just hope they don't give us an exclusive Suicide Squad figure... Like Harley for example? Quote
Robianco Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 These sets aren't the exclusives... They never contain exclusive figs and are pretty easy to build from a BL order for less than the set will cost. The Warbird from last year cost less than £10 when BLing the parts so the only thing you're missing is the packaging. The exclusive figures will arrive... Whether they have one or two SH figures... Maybe a couple of preview figures (as Azog, Bard and Rocket have been) I'm going to guess at one Marvel and one DC like last year. Quote
Ultron Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Plus we now know they will remake figures of fan favorites like Green Lantern/Arrow. Where're my Phoenix and Spider-Woman Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 http://imgur.com/EJobGkJ Where're my Phoenix and Spider-Woman The same place my Symbiote Spider-Man is. Lol Quote

Robert8 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Like Harley for example? I'd love a Suicide Squad Harley Quinn exclusive SDCC minifigure using the new pigtails hairpiece from CMF S14 just to see 8BrickMario's reaction to that I know... I'm evil Quote
Robianco Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Seeing as we're in the Marvel thread why not keep fingers crossed for a Coulson SDCC exclusive? Quote
Super Goblin Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Why? It would be the same as if they didn't release it, no one would have it. Quote
Hawkeye616 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Seeing as we're in the Marvel thread why not keep fingers crossed for a Coulson SDCC exclusive? That would be horrible, simply horrible. I mean I have nothing against a Coulson minifigure, but as Super Goblin said, no one would have it. Of course the ones that go to comic con will but it is trully outrageous in my opinion. Well, if they decide to go that way, I think it's a better choice than quicksilver in his first outfit (please DO NOT make pietro a SDCC exclusive) Quote

Wouldn't they make more money by allowing all of the exclusives to the public in actual sets? I'm sorry if this sounds rude in any way. It just really upset set that I can't get the ultron throne. Hawkeye616 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 If that happens... Please, If lego DARES to make that I will go BOOM Quote
Sir Gareth Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 What if it was Sam Wilson Captain America or someone from Marvel NOW? Would you care? Quote
Robianco Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 The thing is I don't want ANY figure to be an exclusive... I'm actually a fan of variants too so a civilian version of a figure or something like a White Lantern Flash or CW Flash isn't something I'm ok with. My comment was more a tongue in cheek response to wishing for a particular DC figure to revel in the schadenfreude of its appearance... That and the fact I've already got a custom Coulson so it would be easier to accept. ;) Quote
KCMatze Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Oh, I see 'tis the time of the year again  Quote
Ultron Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 They should release civilian clothing BW or something dumb like that. I couldn't care less if they did that Quote
Robert8 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Oh, I see 'tis the time of the year again  I know right? Love it. Personally, I don't mind about the SDCC exclusives but I love seeing people going crazy about them Anyway, 2015 is a Marvel year... so I expect more Marvel exclusives for SDCC, either minifigures or sets. I don't think they'll unveil any marvel sets since most of the sets are based on movies. 2014: unveiled tumbler and green lantern set 2013: unveiled batman with the riddler and flash set Quote
