We'll probably get something Ant-Man related since it's coming up like with Guardians last year.

Probably an accurate faced Hank Pym. I probably just jinxed it.... :look:

On a side note, does anyone fully know when the 2 Spider-Man sets are going to be released. I thought they would be released alongside Ant-Man, but to no avail. Are they slated for Fall, or still planned to be some time this Summer?

Coming in July, DC in August. That's what the store manager informed me for the U.S. Market

I just got the Ant-Man set yesterday. What exactly is the issue that those new parts fix? I'm not sure I really want to go through all the trouble, and I haven't too many problems so far.

Just noticed Starfire got everything Scarlet Witch didn't get, wrist gountlets proper leg printing, better hair and powers. Why?

Probably because Scarlet Witch was based on a movie. The designers used concept art to create the figures, so the hair piece or the powers don't match up exactly. Or at least that's my theory.

I have no idea about the arm/leg printing though, that's beyond me!

EDIT: perhaps it's the budget. Starfire comes in a much larger, more expensive set. Scarlet Witch is in a $30 set and a lot of that set's budget is spent on the Hulk. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave a lot of money for excess printing.

Speaking of ant-man...

So those who haven't contacted Lego for the pieces they owe .... Contact them!! Looks like the customer service lady I contacted was wrong. No surprise there

I'm getting my Ant-Man I ordered within the next couple days... I hope it has this!

Very good explanations. Beside we must consider the movie sets are based on the concepts Lego gets from the movie makers and during the production process many things can change. Starfire Minifigure is based on an already "established" look from the comics, so it's easier for Lego to stay close to the character :classic:

Just my opinion, though :classic:

I mean, as far as the stability of it goes. What problem is it supposed to remedy?

Apparently there were some people who reported the ant couldn't hold up so by extending the legs it would support the ant better. I don't have issues with the stability however

The Hair has been the same since the very earliest concept art,

Still waiting on the Ant-Man set to be delivered, though the Carnage set arrived the other day. While Carnage is very detailed i cant help feel that we now need a re-done version of the other characters given the improved level of detail that will soon become more common in the figures.

For example, when we get dual molded arms and legs with printing on the arms, head, torso, legs and feet then its going to make most the old figures look out-dated. So any thoughts on whether Lego will eventually re-do the old figures with added detail to 'upgrade them'?

While Carnage is very detailed, I think it's because This might be the only time we get a figure of him, so they went all out.

Most of the figs are movie based, and I don't see them redoing any of them.

Really upset at the moment...discovered my Juniors Green Goblin suddenly and shockingly has cracks on both of his arms, stemming from the hand joints. Annoying. And he's literally just been standing on my nightstand for like three weeks--nothing else.

I hope this is not becoming a trend. I've been under similar circumstances before--many of my IM3 minifigures suddenly became afflicted with cracks on their torsos a few months after taking them out of the box, and I've done nothing extreme to them, like removing arms. My Scarlet Witch too has a crack on her torso that suddenly appeared--and I don't even touch that boring minifigure!

Am I just cursed or is this happening to other people too?

I'd hope we'd get better versions of previous characters over time, since Lego will probably want to keep certain characters on shelves at different times. They'll eventually reissue someone like Falcon when he becomes important again and probably make some modifications to the figure if they have the budget for it or a new piece available. I see this more as a problem with X-Men and DC stuff, though, like Cyclops could really use a new, better design but I doubt we'll see that any time soon since Marvel isn't a fan of making merchandise that they only get maybe half of the revenue from. Iron Fist and Power Man would be good examples, as well as Nick Fury and perhaps even Spider-Man.

I haven't had this happen except for some older stray parts from who-knows-when. Strange.

No, I've had that happen too. I think that some of it's just outsourcing, miscalculations on the mold machines. Eg: My official Lego Alfred (which I've had since the Bat-Cave came out) has not a mark on him and looks flawless, and I noticed that some of the flesh arms I got a little while ago were falling apart at the seams. Although, to be fair, I have popped out the arms of my mini-figures a few times, so some cracks can be expected. Whatever the case may be it sucks. Also, just curious, how's Green Goblin? I haven't been able to get a look at him.

My iron legion arms cracked, captain America age of ultron torso cracked, thor torso cracked, and and random figures here and there with cracks. Urg, glad this isn't just happening to me. I was really ticked with the iron legion.

Damn! I don't think that I've ever been unfortunate enough to have a torso crack on me before! I've had plenty of arms, and two hands, so there's that, but torsos? Damn. Best of luck in getting new figs. (Or replacement torsos at least.)

I think the only cracking that I've noticed are deadpool and wolverine from the chopper set. They don't give replacement torso's for discontinued sets, do they?

This has happened to my Two MK XVIII Iron Mans, both Caps, Thor, two Hawkeyes, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Ultimate Ultron. Not to mention three GLs, two Sinestros, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Captain Cold, Cyborg, Hawkman, Black Manta, and Green Arrow from the 2015 DC wave. So no, you are not alone. :hmpf:

I do not mess with my figures and only leave them out for display purposes. Oddly, none of my 2014 figures have cracked.

Only cracks I have are from old sets, like Spider-Man 2 old. But I actively do play with my figures so maybe there's some kind of weird logic where if you let them be they crack but movement keeps the plastic good? Idk it's weird.

Are people really complaining on the Ultron SDCC set? Seriously it looks bad and none of the figs are new besides minor changes, the exclusives aren't going to stop for SDCC, but at least pray they are minor civilian characters like Coulson, Gwen Stacy or the Dr from the Avengers 2.
