My favorites this far would have to be the two Iron Man armors, Ultron Mark 1, Cap and The Vision. All have fantastic, detailed printing to them (in Cap's case, his head and torso make up for not having leg printing). Ant Man is the last set I am planning on picking up, but it isn't out in my area yet.

Darn, I forgot about Cap. He is definitely up there for me too. Thanks for the reminder. :classic::thumbup:

Hey for those who have the new Quinjet (76032), do you find that the motorcycle bay doors (in the undercarriage) are too loose?

Any solutions for this?

Thanks!

They're supposed to be loose, and pop open when you push the button.

They snap closed though (with the two little one stud parts) and remain so, even with the bike and rider in the bay.

Tbh, i dont really consider quicksilver to be as one of the bes, mostly because of the wrong hairpiece and printing (or lack thereof).he is still an awesome fig, just not one of the best. Mine are probably vision, ultron prime, iron man mark 45 and even the iron legion.

I dont have the new sets yet, but antman, yellowjacket and carnage all look fantastic.

I think the best fig this year is the winter solider or electro from the polybag

The Winter Soldier suffers from riding the line between being a comic variant and an MCU variant. Had they gone strict MCU, they could have included a face with his goggles and facemask and been a better figure IMO.

True. But I think they leaned towards Comic book appearance because he may be in Civil War sets and , like Martian Manhunter, he may have a different variation in the set.

Essentials for me this year are Black Widow and Green Goblin since they both replace their god awful looking previous versions. Hawkeye too, but the old fig looked nice with the current ones hairpiece, so I'll let it slide.

However, my personal essentials this year are the new Spidey (Ultimate and Boots) as well as Vision, Ultimate Ultron, and Ant Man. All are characters that I've wanted before, and I really like that boot molding on Spidey. :grin_wub: I also like any of this years Iron Man suits for their detailing alone.

Iron Legion is awesome too, and that Silver Centurion is just fantastic. (Funny how I don't like the MArk 45 so much due to it being overly detailed but I have no problems with this one. I think it is the silver and the body armor)

I think a big problem with the MK 45 is the red highlights. I think it could have benefitted from some more red across the figure, but I still think it looks good. Plus I love the steel cheek "bones". Silver Centurion's details blend in more, I think. Those arms are awesome too. :grin_wub:

Yeah, the problem is they don't stay shut (those two studs dont keep it closed), it simply flies open without any pressure...

I think this would make a better topic on its own with a poll if that's what people want to talk about.

You're right it would, but what else is there to talk about for 2015?

Well I would just have a one main Marvel topic without a year where we talk about the latest news be it 2015 or 2016 related, I hate this time or year where there is an overlap in two topics about the same thing, we don't have a different topic for each wave. But this is a different topic altogether.

Rumors and Discussion.

Discussion, may it be about the rumors or about what is already out in 2015.

While it is on topic, it could work as its own topic too, but I think its fine where it is. :classic:

I haven't noticed that problem. Perhaps you're not snapping it closed tightly enough? Or you've not secured the entire structure correctly? You've not set the button mechanism in place correctly?

If you snap the two blue studs into thier opposite port, the floor is solid. You can fill the cargo to capacity with bricks and minifigs with no danger of it letting loose until you hit the button (not that I've amused myself with random bombings of Tony's mansion or any such thing...hahaha).

It's never simply popped open. /shrug.

Finally got my Ant-Man set, but it wasn't the fixed version! I'd just sent an email for the spare parts, right?

Yeah. Lots of people have done it and gotten their pieces. I've heard good things.

In terms of our favorites for the year, I reserve the right to change my opinion when I have the Silver Centurion Armor in my possession.

Same. (Also for when I get the Carnage and Sandman and Antman sets)

Also, I have made decision regarding my opinions on the MK 43 and MK 45.

The MK 43 is nice and I really like it without the helmet and just with Tony Stark's head and hair.

The MK 45 on the other hand is actually really good looking on its own… and now is my favorite Iron Man suit.

I don't know why I did not like it before. I guess I just needed to take a better look at it.
