Mark 45 armour is my favourite, then again I'm an Iron Fan

Haha, same. Have all the armors except for the MK 7 from the Quinjet, the NYTF one, and (obviously) the SIlver Centurion.

Its funny, I built a smallish (10 studs x 40 studs) Hall of Armor and Malibu Mansion MOC a few years ago and only put 5 armor slots in (because thats all I had at the time) for display. Now, with all the new suits I have no place to put them, and since I have very little space on my shelf to remake the MOC, I have to just have them all flying around.

By the end of all the MCU movies I wonder how many armors in Lego we will have.

Also, does anyone count the Helicarrier micro fig as a suit? Like an Ant Man, Pym Particle Shrinking suit?

I'd say by the time the MCU is over, the only living thing left on earth will be Chris Evans, frozen in a Capsicle one last time!

I just "finished" (being very careful about how I use that word because I'm bricklinking the parts when it's true) a 9 - suit MOC Hall of Armor. I considered using the mircofig in it as a sort of "blueprint" type thing that Tony could hold or look at, or sit on a desk near computers. Sort of like how artists sometimes use wooden models with points of articulation. Granted Stark is more the guy to have all that computerized, but it's a cool fig.

I'd say we're definitely getting a new suit for Civil War, and possibly even a new War Machine depending on how much presence he has in the movie. There's a lot of hubbub among my friends about the Extremis suit being a potential for Civil War based on the ending of Iron Man 3, so that might be cool. I'd also love a lot of the House Party suits to be available through more promotions. Silver Centurion looks great, but we know we all want the space suit with all that white and gold.

Thanks for the response regarding the micro fig, and that is a really cool idea actually.

As for a space suit, that would be prefect. I could see these Iron Man suits becoming more available to us as promos too.

Oh man is that cool! Please share some instructions, because that would be the coolest display for all these Iron Man armors!

I wouldn't be surprised to see the space suit show up for Infinity War, since I'm assuming that's going to take place mostly in space. I'm still hoping we see the Mark I and Mark II armors somehow, and maybe even some of the obscure ones. He's really the perfect character for promos.

I'm suspicious as to whether Marvel would re-use any of Tony's suits in any future movies, especially since he destroyed them all during Iron Man 3. That being said, it does seem like he still has "specialized" suits for different cases, such as the Hulkbuster.

Of course if LEGO Marvel games keep up the trend I'm sure if they make another we'll get another Iron Man suit. Iron Patriot's fig is really cool and Silver Centurion has me really excited because of all. that. printing.

As for the display, I can send you the .lxf but since it is the first MOC I've done I doubt the instructions are in coherent form. It's not a very hard build (of course I say this without having actually built it) as the display "pods" are modular and the entirety of the floor is just some plates and then 2x2 tiles. It's worth mentioning that the display was made to fit Iron Patriot/War Machine with their turrets attached as well as Silver Centurion with the Chima breastplate he uses.

Smart having space for the armor accessories in the display pods. But I must ask, what will happen when Lego releases more than 9 suits? What will be your solution? Build / add on? I only ask so that I could have an idea for what to do as well for my Malibu Mansion MOC. With only 5 slots, you can imagine things are becoming a bit tight. Also, where will you keep the Hulkbuster? <-- thats just me being nosy.:grin:

Since the pods are modular (and given that there are an odd number of suits out at the time - Iron Legion helps with this in a certain way) you can just expand the base to the right and left with smaller plates and all two pods and two walls to cap it off again. If you want you can actually remove pods and baseplates to shrink it down to five or whatever odd number you like. I bet you could even make a really cool tiny vignette with just that one pod showing off Tony and a single suit. Right now I include Iron Legion as a suit to be put on display which isn't quite correct, but I needed an odd number so there was a central pod. I just think it makes it look better. When Silver Centurion is out I can remove Iron Legion. Then if another Iron Man suit comes out, I can add back in Iron Legion to keep it at an odd number.

Hulkbuster is way too big to put on display unless he's on his own. A lot of people grumble about how big he is compared to the Hulk bigfig. It doesn't bother me out of context but if I were to try to put the Hulkbuster with this MOC I think it would ruin the look.

I definitely expect there to be more suits. I have my hopes up for at least 1 Iron Man and 1 War Machine from Civil War, and we all know Tony is getting a new suit (if not two) for the next Avengers. I hadn't even realized he changed suits during Age of Ultron until I saw the little insert that came with my Hulkbuster Smash set showing off Mk 44 and 45.

Also, this is more of a Marvel Superheroes 2016-and-beyond thing, but I have my fingers crossed as hard as possible for Nova being in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or getting his own thing. I like to think they showed off the Nova Corps and had the inclusion of Rhomann Dey as a character in Guardians 1 for a reason.

Ok cool, thanks. Good to know that it can be changed up, so getting more suits isn't a problem.

The Hulkbuster's size is also fine by me. If it were any smaller, while it would be pretty good for display, it would really be lacking somehow IMO.

Yeah, I could see that. Seems the most logical based on what we got over the past years. 2 suits per Avengers movie and then one for Civil War. Rhodey no doubt will get another suit, sadly I already modified mine to be more accurate to AoU using gunmetal silver for his arms and legs, but I'm open to an official one with silver, gray, and black.

Richard Rider would really be amazing. Heres to hoping we get him. :excited:

I wouldn't set your hopes high for Nova, since James Gunn confirmed that Guardians 2 is only going to feature one new major character and separately stated that the sequel is going to involve Star-Lord's dad, who certainly sounds like he's that one new major character.

There's always a Sam Alexander Nova movie, right?

Right?

...

(I like Sam's costume more. I'm just a minifig freak.)

No, he stated 1 new member to the team and Star-Lord's dad, wich makes 2 new characters...

I have a question or 2 tho

How on earth are they gonna transport and give space suits to every hero that will suit up in Infinity War? or can they just breath on planet Thanos?

Also, who will be the new villain in Gotg 2? maybe too far ahead but i really need to know

I'd say annihilus, but I don't think Marvel owns his rights. Either way, I don't expect much from who they pick, because he'll probably be lame like Ronan was.

To be fair the sequel will probably also include

Adam Warlock

given in most versions he has an Infinity Gem, so will likely be the owner of an Infinity Gem this time around. We probably will get a movie-verse Nova figure, given i would'nt be too suprised if he is introduced in GOTG3

I found Ronan pretty menacing, but kinda weird looking indeed

Don't you mean... The Armor is Superior!

Haha nice! And about that guardians of the galaxy villain, I don't expect a super iconic villain thought. Korvac would be nice but meh. Or perhaps the badoon might be the bad guys.

The dark blue is way better, I agree.

However, we did get a Sam Alexander figure… err… sort of… it was in the Ultimate Spider-Man Daily Bugle set. It wasn't based on the comic, only the TV show.

Sam is great, but Richard Rider will still be in out hearts though. :cry_sad:

As Daredevil would say, I don't see whats funny about that joke.

(Just kidding, I thought it was clever)

... Huh. I'd had my eye on that one and just assumed it was Richard because of the yellow helmet. It's a neat fig but there isn't a lot of detail. I was considering buying it yesterday, actually, which is what prompted my initial post about Nova.

I mean, the Nova Corps officer minifig almost looks like a better Nova than the Nova minifig!

^^^Better than Asa Butterfeild

%100 agreed. I've been thinking, it is ovbious a new spidey vsriant will be in the civil war sets. However could it be possible to have a peter parker? Like please LEGO?
