DJ Bricks Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I thought it lasted all month. Oh, well. I might buy one off of Bricklink when the hype for Civil War gets big. He'll probably be be in a CA:CW set in a different outfit next spring. It was, it probably sold out. That's what happenes when a giveaway sells out on Lego.com. And yes we will probably see him in the CW sets. Probably in a different outfit. Quote
agoodfella77 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I wouldn't mind seeing a comic version of Bucky Barnes as I am always partial to the Comics version whenever possible. Quote
kevkipo Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) A dammit now i've done it, I want to make Future's Vision in Lego purist. Gonna need a winter soldier head! EDIT: 15 Euro's! Is that bad? that's bad right? Edited June 28, 2015 by kevkipo Quote
Zodack Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) EDIT: 15 Euro's! Is that bad? that's bad right? Welcome to exclusive minifigs I guess. I just learned today there's a Darth Revan fig and in polybag it's upwards of $35. Glad I decided to get my Winter Soldier while I could. Edited June 28, 2015 by Zodack Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 My Quinjet came in the mail yesterday! I'm loving the jet obviously, but that Winter soldier figure is the bomb dot com! Only thing I did to him was swap the hands and equip him with a rifle. Also started modifying the play feature out of the Cho truck. Besides that 8/10 set, get it now. I might be in the minority but I really, really don't like Widows hair piece! makes her look like a middle aged aunt... Quote
Zorglorfian Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I'm getting an extra Winter Soldier. If anyone wants one, PM me and we'll discuss. :) Quote
Zodack Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I might be in the minority but I really, really don't like Widows hair piece! makes her look like a middle aged aunt... I like the older one better than the newer one and even that is a stretch Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) New Widow's head and body + old Widow's hair = best Black Widow fig ever. (Or at least until Civil War) Whichever comes first. Edited June 29, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 That's definitely a new head on Ultron, right? The other ones are all red? Quote
Butterfingers27 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 That's definitely a new head on Ultron, right? The other ones are all red? No, it's the same orange head from the Quinjet set. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 That's definitely a new head on Ultron, right? The other ones are all red? No, it's the same orange head from the Quinjet set. Yup, it's the same Neon Orange head that he and the Iron Legion have. It's just been edited for the box art. Quote
Hawkeye616 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Oh well, at least it wasn't Quicksilver or Spider-Gwen. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 No, it's the same orange head from the Quinjet set. Weird. Why orange? It always seemed red in the movie? Oh well, at least it wasn't Quicksilver or Spider-Gwen. Oh yeah! Spider-Gwen especially would've killed me, she'd make such a good minifigure. A new head and torso print and some dual-colored legs is all it'd take. Quote
Quicksilver Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Box for SDCC set: [ "Upon this rock, I will build my church." Decent Looking Set. Be better if it was not $200 plus on the aftermarket though. Quote
namioik Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 "Upon this rock, I will build my church." Decent Looking Set. Be better if it was not $200 plus on the aftermarket though. It won't be if you rebuild it yourself! Quote
HawkLord Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 It won't be if you rebuild it yourself! That's the thing to remember - you're paying $200+ for the cardboard on the SDCC set. The bricks and figures are all very much cheaper to get elsewhere. Quote

Marvel_Geek Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 So Lego recently revealed a portion of a Batman vs. Superman set, does this mean we might see civil war lego set pictures? Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 So Lego recently revealed a portion of a Batman vs. Superman set, does this mean we might see civil war lego set pictures? Perhaps, if they show it off at SDCC. Licensed movie themes are a major factor for Lego's profits and popularity right now, so I'm sure that they will show some Civil War stuff. The past few years we've seen Star Wars, The Lego Movie, and Superheroes shown off at SDCC, if thats anything to go off of, Civil War being previewed is a safe bet. Maybe what they think the most popular set will be shown, something that can be bought by the average consumer, anywhere between $20 to $50. It is even more likely that Civil War sets will be shown since it and BVS come out on the same day. Those are just my two cents. Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Have they ever revealed Marvel sets at SDCC before like that, though? I know one year they just did all of the Superheroes minifigs but other than that, hasn't it always just been DC sets? Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 They did come out on the same day. BVS has been since moved up. Really? Thats great! To be honest, I didn't really want to see 2 movies on the same weekend. Quote
Hawkeye616 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Well, it's kindof disappointing that there will only be two movies in Lego Avengers the videogame. I kinda wanted at least some other MCU missions. Oh well, still looks great. Quote
