I'm excited for this minifig:

http://www.comicbook.../news/?a=107175

Vision looks perfect. Can't wait to get a minifigure of him.

Also looks like the tower has recieved a bit of a makeover since the last film with a fully enclosed top floor instead of the balcony. Should hopefully help make the design of the set easier to achieve for a reasonable price.

I am SO completely stoked for a LEGO Vision! You have no idea. He's full my favorite Marvel character. :D

I'm excited for Wanda too, albeit slightly less so as I'm no fan of her movie look (second only to her terribad costume from the final issues of WCA and her miniseries).

If LEGO doesn't include him in a set I'll be completely gutted.

Vision is my favorite Avenger so I was super stoked when I heard he was going to be in Avengers 2. And now that I see how accurate Vision is to his comic book appearance it gives me hope that SW and QS will have a more faithful adaptation of their costumes by the end of the film as well (Although Quicksilvers is pretty good already IMO)

You are clearly a man of great taste (I saw your Batman comment in the DC thread just now too, hahaha)!

I have a little bit of hope that she'll be sporting a red ensemble and her signature headpiece by the end of the film (and, thus, in all merchandise too). After seeing what abominations Marvel is willing to pass off as their charcters in the GotG film though, I'm a bit concerned.

I passed on the GotG sets (I'm, like, the only person in the universe who absolutely hated the film, hahaha), so I can't speak for those.

That's too bad. To each their own, of course, but I think the Milano is easily the best set of 2014.

I wasn't a big fan of Gamora or Star Lord tbh, although I love Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana. Groot and Rocket were great though  But I can understand if you didn't like it. But I've watched some interviews and Aaron Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen really seem to get the characters and the dynamic they have as twins so I'm really looking forward to their performances. Hopefully their figs are good though, I have a feeling quicksilver at least may fall into the concept art failure since he has brown hair in his concept art :sadnew: (Sorry for the movie talk in this thread)

It's my favorite superhero set! I love the interior

I'd actually purchased it, in anticipation of seeing the film believe it or not. I was super stoked for a Gamora minifig.

I can't support anything about the movie though. It's the antithesis of everything I love about these characters and the comics from which they (supposedly) came. There was far too much spitting on the source material for my tastes.

This is a larger discussion that doesn't really belong in this thread though.

And, really, the best set for 2014 is a full tie between Benny's Spaceship and Metalbeard's Sea Cow. Both were absolute masterpieces that were insanely fun to build and fun models to 'play' with (I actually have the Spaceship sitting next to me, having just picked it off the shelf to swoosh it around a bit and fidget with the pop-out wings feature, hahaha). I really wish LEGO would put half the effort into thier superhero sets as they did with those two.

I'm not all that worried about Pietro's hair. The beautiful thing about LEGO is that you can just switch the piece out, hahaha. :p

If it's incorrect, I think Magneto's hair from the X-men set will work fine. I actually expect to have to do this anyhow, as I'm thinking he'll have 'floppy' hair, when Pietro has always had a very distinct hairstyle resembling that part rather closely. :D

i wanna see a poster of Quicksilver! *Spoiler* i keep watching the end credits of Cap 2 :snicker:

You could use spoiler tags instead of just writing spoiler in red.

Writing Spoiler in front of something doesn't hide it from view like Spoiler tags do. In fact writing like that in bright red just draws eyes to it. Plus I don't get the connection between that plot point and LEGO.

Well i guess everyone wants to see Quicksilver in Lego form so...

Also i still don't know how Spoiler tags work

Quicksilver's hair wouldn't really bother me if it were the Magneto hair. I've got a good looking purist fig with that piece and I think it looks fine.

But where is the spoiler tab???

[spoiler ] and [ /spoiler] (minus the spaces)

Quicksilver's hair looks nothing like that in the movie though

Yeah, i think the Anakin CW hairpiece is the best choice for him, its the closest to his hair in the film and is what i would choose.

A good rule of thumb for spoiler tags: if you think you might need to use one, don't post whatever you were posting in this thread.

Of course i could do that too

But i already understand it:

YAY

[spoiler ] and [ /spoiler] (minus the spaces)

They could do that, but i really wont like it, Anakins hair would work better

Anyone else think this is black windows new hair mold? I know in AUO its more curly, but this hair looks pretty real and very black widow to me.

I certainly think that would be a good hair mould for black widow, I'm willing to bet you are spot on the mark. :classic:

What sets has that hairpiece been used in? Or is in just in the game.

It's not been in any sets, jsut the game. But the quality of it looks as tho lego made it as a real mold, and not soemthing designed by the game people.
