I mean, look at that Sentinel. Doesn't look anything like the one in the X-Jet... And are those Eclipse-Grafx Cyclops and Rogue? But MAN! That is NICE! The X-Jet one is the classic Cyclops, unless you only consider "original X-Men" Cyke where they all wore matching blue-black & yellow outfits. The X-Jet one is what Cyke wore for much of the '70s into the '80s, in Giant Size X-Men, in the Dark Phoenix Saga, etc... Doesn't get much more classic than that. Quote

It wasn't nearly as dark, though, that's for sure. I think I would've been okay with it if it were the classic bright blue suit rather than the Astonishing dark one. Maybe it's my relatively dark purist collection, but I can't stand colorless superhero figs anymore. I'd be fine with classic or 90's or really anything that had some POP to it. Quote

We got a blank, dark scooba suit with barely visible print and yellow undies. This Cyclops is soooo boring, we got two better versions in the game that would have been easy to produce. I cannot even make a good custom 90's cyclops because the head print doesn't have forehead. It's a good thing Wolverine and Storm were so excellent because Cyclops and Magneto were two of the fugliest minifigs in the Marvel theme Quote

That Magneto is full my favorite look for the character. It's not something I ever expected to see LEGO release, when he has more garish costumes to offer. As for Cyke, it makes sense that they went with that look it's in line with the era represented by the other X-men minifigs we have. The 90's look, while popular with a certain generation who grew up on that gob awful cartoon, isn't really all that representative of the character. This is undeniably his classic look, and most of his costumes are a variation on the whole 'body sock' look. So, literally any other look not based on a few years in the 90s would more or less look like this (with his X-factor blue and white costume offering a brighter pallet, perhaps). Quote

So I doubt we'll get a sleeveless Thor. It'd be nice to get his armored sleeves printed instead of just all gray.
