JaseTJ Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 If they include that in Ant-Man it'll only be an end-credits scene or I guess maybe during the climax of the movie he could pull it out like "surprise!" :D Quote
kevkipo Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 In the worst scenario they are doing Mutt's hair for Quicksilver D: No. just no. Quote
Ultron Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Regardless of what hair piece they give him, I will probably replace it with a white version of Draco Malfoys. Chancelor Palpatine doesn't need hair Quote
elederberg Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 So if the Avengers Tower was gonna be made into a D2C, not saying it will, when we find out about it if the sets will be released in April like the 1st Avengers sets? Quote
Mahtion Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Regardless of what hair piece they give him, I will probably replace it with a white version of Draco Malfoys. Chancelor Palpatine doesn't need hair Hatred leads to poor follicles. Poor hair growth leads to Sith patterned baldness. Sith baldness leads to the Dark side of hair restoration. :P Quote
Colossus Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Palpatine's not only the Emperor, he's also a client! Quote
kevkipo Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Never would i use the palpatine hair for Quicksilver D: In my opinion it looks horrible on him, like a very fast Grandpa Edited September 21, 2014 by kevkipo Quote
Ultron Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Never would is use the palpatine hair for Silver D: In my opinion it looks horrible on him, like a very fast Grandpa It just gives the "running" effect since it's slicked back. Also, Quicksilvers hair has always been more white than silver so I think it'll be okay. I don't own Magnetos hair in white and I think gray would make him look even more like an old man. The Wolverine hair hasn't come in white so the best option for me if I don't like the hair they give him is the white Draco Malfoy hair since it's the only one I currently have Hatred leads to poor follicles. Poor hair growth leads to Sith patterned baldness. Sith baldness leads to the Dark side of hair restoration. :P Good reasoning! Edited September 20, 2014 by Ultron Quote
Cammo Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 I would pick The Dark Knight Joker hair in silver/grey for Quicksilver. Quote
kevkipo Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 I would pick The Dark Knight Joker hair in silver/grey for Quicksilver. Yes. Quote
Steph 104th Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 What is also great about that hairpiece is its length at the back which means it will hide the alternate face print, which the Magneto's one can't do. Quote
snikttrooper Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 I think the Luke Skywalker hair in light grey could also work very well. Quote
Galactic13 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 So do we know what sets we are getting? I see people saying Avengers tower and Hulk Buster. Quote
just2good Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 So do we know what sets we are getting? I see people saying Avengers tower and Hulk Buster. We do not. People are just speculating. But, the toy shop owner of the place Hulk_Smash saw the catalog claims that we're getting a Hulk Buster. Quote
Shib Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Would the hulk buster be brick built or a big fig? I'd like to see it as a brick build but could understand them going with a big fig to try to match the source as accurately as possible. Seen some concept sketches of the Hulk buster to feature in avengers 2 and it does look pretty good. Quote
Robianco Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 The Wolverine hair hasn't come in white so the best option for me if I don't like the hair they give him is the white Draco Malfoy hair since it's the only one I currently have Not in any sets but there are those that have them available should you so wish: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=16878&colorID=1 Quote
Jared Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Not in any sets but there are those that have them available should you so wish: http://www.bricklink...16878&colorID=1 Talk about expensive... Quote
Galactic13 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Do you guys think we could get a Thanos next year since we are getting a Darkseid in the DC sets? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Do you guys think we could get a Thanos next year since we are getting a Darkseid in the DC sets? Not next year, maybe when the third avengers movie comes out. Or he could be in a avengers assemble season 2 set. Quote
kornholio Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I've seen there is one of the copycat Lego rip-offs on Ebay UK already selling a hulk buster figure; from pics it looks like bigfig size and i think that works for me - it should be similar in size or slightly larger than the hulk. It looks OK but am sure Lego will do it better, and absolutely key that a normal iron man mini fig can sit inside (as that is how it will apparently work in AOU). Don't want to post link in case it contravenes any site rules (i'm new). Quote
Galactic13 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Not next year, maybe when the third avengers movie comes out. Or he could be in a avengers assemble season 2 set. But don't for get that he was in GotG. Quote
jimmysnuff Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I'd love to see the Sentinel from the poster (same as the game version I believe) released as one of the Lego clocks. Quote
Shib Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 But don't for get that he was in GotG. Problem is all we've really seen Thanos do on screen at the moment is sit around, to be in with a strong chance of appearing in a set he needs to be in an obvious action scene. I think we will almost certainly see one at some point, but it might take a few years for the storyline of the cinematic universe to make it viable. Quote
Galactic13 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Hey! I would love a set of Thanos on his throne with the Other. Although I don't think that would sell well with kids. Quote
