KCMatze Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Will those promo-polys ever reach other countries then Canada / US? Again everyone else has no chance to get hands on that figure... First one was SUPER exclusive to ONE SINGLE event and now that... this sucks. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Neat! So this polybag is meant to add onto the Milano! Pretty cool! Quote
JaseTJ Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 November, you say? Because I'm planning on just buying the Milano and getting this, as opposed to trying to collect all of the sets. With Age of Ultron and the Justice League wave, I just can't afford to catch up on everything. And I can live without the big Groot- I'd have modded it enough anyways. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Do remember how many repeats we saw for the first Avengers film, hope this time its better, GOTG makes me more hopeful but this is the most sets we have seen for a SH film and I hope we don't get sets like the first hulk set which was £50 for the hulk and triple repeated figs. But GotG only had 5 to spread amongst three sets plus other characters. Avengers had six, and one villian with an army that didnt really show up till the end. Bases on the film i. Am not surprised we go repeats. And we are getting five known sets based on AoU, everyone is assuming the Fortress set is AoU set thought its box wasnt in the book with the others. So it might be a reatail exclusive and new movie sets usally arent As for the Hulk set, i imagine it the Hulkbuster fight. Iron Man MK 43, Hulkbuster hulk and SW(prelime name) Quote
SMC Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^ Avengers Assemble could have had: Tony Stark Steve Rogers Bruce Banner Nick Fury Coulson Hill Hope this next film does better. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^ Avengers Assemble could have had: Tony Stark Steve Rogers Bruce Banner Nick Fury Coulson Hill Hope this next film does better. From a kids prespective, they want Hulk, not puny Banner, why do you think the current cartoons, and EMH had Hulk with little to no Banner. Quote
legofreak86 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^ Must have, come on UK toys r us. I SURELY HOPE SO! My nearest is in Ipswich which is about 30 mins away but for that i'd go there. Quote
SMC Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I SURELY HOPE SO! My nearest is in Ipswich which is about 30 mins away but for that i'd go there. Also the more places it shows up the less it will be on ebay/bricklink if you cant get one direct. Quote
KCMatze Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Sorry, bit off-topic, but: how do I even browse through polybags on bricklink? They are horrible to find. Quote
addemlit Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Sorry, bit off-topic, but: how do I even browse through polybags on bricklink? They are horrible to find. Polybags are usually under sets. But here's a link http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=129971 Quote
JaseTJ Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 From a kids prespective, they want Hulk, not puny Banner, why do you think the current cartoons, and EMH had Hulk with little to no Banner. They've put Parker in sets with Spidey before, and I'm sure it sold fine. Quote
Cy_Bored1337 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Guys you know what would be cool? If they made Hulk with an Inside Location to put Bruce Banner? So you would have Hulk and hes counter Part! Quote
SMC Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 ^ I have thought about that too but its not like hulkbuster in that way and it would cost a lot to make unlike just adding banner to a set. Quote
Cy_Bored1337 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 ^ I have thought about that too but its not like hulkbuster in that way and it would cost a lot to make unlike just adding banner to a set. I see Quote
jimmysnuff Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I really want a Bruce Banner over a 4th Hulk fig. Quote
SMC Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 ^ I don't see why we can't have both given the number of sets. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I really like the idea of having that polybag add onto a set. I wonder if we'll see stuff like that in the future. It's a great way to put more value into the set. I hope it happens more often soon. Quote
mattdev25 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) There are already too many characters to add as it is, so I really don't think the Maximoffs are getting civilian outfits. We'll see though... Edited October 25, 2014 by mattdev25 Quote
TheLegoDr Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I never shop at TRU, but for that polybag I may make an exception. I stopped in there to return some things my mom purchased there (I found them cheaper elsewhere) and it seemed a lot of the new LEGO was MSRP, but all of the older sets 6+ months were marked up their usual amount. I found that interesting. You'd think mark up the new sets since you put them out early usually, then keep the rest MSRP, but I guess I'm not business savvy enough to run TRU... Quote
mattdev25 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Also, I'm beyond pumped for that Rocket polybag! The battle damage stickers are pure genius!!! Quote
Rinzler Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I really want a Bruce Banner over a 4th Hulk fig. 4th? There has only been two so far, with a 3rd one coming in next year's wave Quote
SMC Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) 4th? There has only been two so far, with a 3rd one coming in next year's wave That's what I thought too but we had the minifig one too. Edited October 25, 2014 by SMC Quote
cullmancreations Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 This is also a little off topic but I find it interesting that now after the Hobbit and LOTR line they give the short feet more decoration with the racoon fig. you see his trousers and where it cuts off to the feet. I wonder why the designers of the LOTR theme and Hobbit theme never attempted this on the Hobbit minifigs Quote
JaseTJ Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 It's expensive, or at least it used to be. They have new methods since the Simpsons I guess, because they've been doing it more and more... Quote
