kevkipo Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Yeah right, like we do that usually.... Those informations below were taken from amazon Italy listiing, including, pricing, naming, number of pieces and sets descriptions (translated from italian) mentionning involved characters from each set, we didn't "make that up" like you say.... We even stayed quite conservative on the characters supposed to be present in each set, naming only those mentionned explicitely by the description... Some details have be withdrawn from their website since then, obviously following a request coming from LEGO or Marvel. 76029 Iron vs Ultron - 14.99 €(90 pièces - Iron Man, Ultron)76030 Avengers Hydra Showdown - 24.99 €(220 pièces - Thor, Hawkeye)76031 The HulkBuster Smash - 34.99 €(248 pièces - Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow)76032 Avengers Quinjet City Chase - 84.99 €(722 pièces - Captain America)76038 Attack on Avengers Tower - 74.99 €(511 pièces - Iron Man, Thor, Ultron) I said you CAN, i don't say you DO Look now i have seen proof, i believe you! Steph 104th Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) I hope that those are intentionally vague on characters, we need more than 2 avengers per set imo. (Reason for edit; double post) Edited December 7, 2014 by Steph 104th Quote

(Reason for edit; double post) I'm assuming they are intentionally vague; Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will probably make an appearance in the wave somewhere (unless they are SDCC exclusives ). Also, is it just me, or does it seem like Lego is skimping on the Iron Man minifigures this wave Edited December 7, 2014 by psqidexslizer248 Quote

Also, is it just me, or does it seem like Lego is skimping on the Iron Man minifigures this wave Well considering Lego is putting Iron Man in Avengers Tower, The Hulkbuster Smash and Iron Man vs Ultron sets, that means he'll be in 3 out of the 6 sets and they have released 5 Iron Man figures in past sets, Lego is being anything but skimpy on the Iron Man figures. If Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are SDCC exclusives I will cry. Mainly because they are so cool. Quote

It seems like Iron Man is the Trump Card for Lego, as he was the only Avenger with Two variations in the first wave, only Phase 2 Solo Movie to get sets and will be featured prominently in the new AOU Sets. I guess Kids must really like Iron Man. :) Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Avengers fortress is probably based on the comics/tv show since exclusives normally arent movie based. The avengers fortress set could be based on the show Avengers Assemble. The Bright yellow orange hair piece could work well with Hawkeye, here's a comparison: Quote

I feel like doing a lone Avengers Assemble set in the middle of a full wave of AoU sets would be confusing, though, with the vastly different variations of the figures (AA Thor vs AoU Thor, for example). Scarilian Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) Iron Man Vs Ultron has Ultron himself Doubt they would put Ultron in the cheapest set. Maybe his drones or a variant, but doubt its the same figure as the more expensive version. What do you mean by revealed things? This was never revealed nor said by anyone... This has been revealed multiple times. tafkatb Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I think that was due to TLM though. Ah, good point - the official reveal was probably held back until the movie was out. In that case, the Helicarrier will probably be revealed earlier, maybe early to mid-January. Quote

But it would be good for variety as we could get some new villians from the show like Nighthawk, Hyperion, The cosmic Skull, Dracula, Crossbones or Thanos! As well as Avengers Assemble Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow or Ant Man. Quote

Lego has not been Movie or TV show accurate in a while with the small sets in a while. 2012 Avengers: Captain America rides a motorcycle (not featured in the movie) into battle against a Chitari ground cannon! (Not featured in the movie) 2013 Iron Man 3: The Heartbreaker Iron Man suit fights the Mandarin's Battle Buggy! (Not featured in the Movie! As Iron Man and Mandarin Never actually fight face to face!) 2014: Ultimate Spider-Man: Spiderman rides the Spidertrike to stop Electro! (Not only is The Spider Trike totally Obsolete, but it didn't exist before the Lego Set! It was not in the Movies, the TV Show or The Comic books!) [ Edited December 8, 2014 by Quicksilver Quote

Except with us on the Mark 43 armour in AOU, I don't think Lego will ever go back and Make the Mark 1, 3, 4 or 5 suits to give us the "original Hall of Armour" from Iron Man 3" Also they could have done a sleeveless Thor and Purple pants Hulk from the Avengers sets. I guess Iron Man is the MCU trump card, Spider-man is the Marvel subthemes trump and Batman is the Superhero theme trump card. Does else anyone else think that Lego favours DC more then Marvel? DC has had 2 sets priced over $100 and Marvels most expensive set is $74.99 US. DC has THREE lego video games to Marvel's one. Also Batman was one of the main characters in the Lego Movie, while Marvel had no presence in the movie. (The Lego Movie issue has a lot to do with licensing agreements) Quote
Shib Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I think what you are pointing out is more about Lego having a contract with DC waaaayyy before they had one with Marvel. As for the movie appearance that is because the movie was made by Warner Brothers who also have the rights to DC characters so it was like a 2 for 1 for them! Quote
just2good Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 DC and LEGO are butt buddies. They love eachother. TT Games is owned by Warner Bros. The LEGO Movie was made under Warner Bros. Ninjago and Chima air under a Warner channel. Disney and LEGO like eachother a lot, though. Quote
