I'm not really excited about these, apart from the avengers tower which has a lot of classic space MOC potential. The dark blue on the quinjet is nice but apart from that, the vehicles are :hmpf_bad:

That would be me. Totally called it.

These sets look pretty great! A bit disappointed in the Hulkbuster, but whatever you know. I love that new Hulk, way more accurate than the past mold.

That's NOT Ultron its a soldier

Is it safe to assume that the Euro prices will be the same as the US? I can't see Iron Man vs Ultron costing $14.99. The Spider-Trike is given the same listing, while it is $11.99 in stores.

If the movie turns out great it'll be: Quinjet, Hulkbuster & Hulkbuster & Hydra Duel + BL Quicksilver (= 140 EUR on S@H).

2015 is the worst year for me:

Still need to get:

- some 2014 sets: (X-Men & Hobbit Lake-Town pt 2)

- the whole 2015 Batman wave

- any classic Jurassic Park set(s)

- The Tumbler

- 3 Avengers sets

- Kwik-E Markt

- The Simpsons CMF wave 2

(+ That new Amiibo line of 49 figures isn't going to help me...)

The sets look more than just great. I can't wait to get a hold of them.

The new Hulk looks accurate and the Avengers tower is great. It is a set that is open voor expansion.

I have been searching on the internet. Can someone tell me: what is the Iron Legion?

I could not find it. Thanks.

Duel with Hydra = 19,99

Rumble at Hydra = 59,99 (Lord that stings)

Iron Man vs Ultron drones = 14,99

That's 95 Euro's! seems decent to me, Especially since i have no other theme to want next year

And with these sets i have: Cap, Hulk, Quicksilver  , Iron Man, Strucker, 2 Hydra soldiers, Thor, and Hawkeye + a batch of Ultron drone soldiers

Seems decent to me! just BL Ultron, Widow and Scarlet and im ready to go!

The Iron legion is like an Iron man army, You can see them as Iron soldiers

I'm seriously disappointed in these. I expected a bit more from them considering the calibre of the other super heroes sets. I was hoping the hydra fortress would have a bit more of an "aim facility" feel and less of a classic castle using chunky castle pieces. If someone posted that on the castle forum it would receive a lot of constructive criticism, especially on detailing.

The avengers tower kit is the most generic, boring, glass walled tower they could have possibly produced. The figs in the kit are uninspired and boring looking also. I think this is the most disappointing to me because I was considering buying 3 and modularising it.

The Quinjet is another rehash, and considering we've had one already, it's left me a little bored. That said I LOVE the vision fig and the dark pink colour palette!

Hawkeye and an off-roader? Seriously this is a joke right, a Quinjet that we've had and a black jeep weve already had....

Alright, I left this one for last because it had so much darn potential and just fell horribly short.

Iv seen a few hulkbuster and they have all been around 200 pieces, including my own, rather than dropping hulks prison and dropping the ultron drone and making the hulk buster a decent kit, they opted for this... Not terribly impressed but I'll buy it for the hulk buster head piece.

Now this year lego marvel are going up against dcs brilliant next wave, I know these are for a film but they could have slipped in animated tv show characters, or comic characters which would have elevated the sets even higher, rather than adding repeats of captain America or Thor, or ultron drones.

But that's just, like, my opinion man.

The avengers tower is great how many times have we said hope it will be a building and not just an interior, it makes the Daily Bugle look boring by comparison. I like it so much I would have loved it to be the new d2c. I think it would make a great moc to use it as the top of the tower and build down to make it a lot taller.

Happy to see Hulk is different for the two I have but why have they made two the same one should have been normal and the one with hulkbuster should have been battle damaged. There are a lot of doubles like the first movie but at least there are a lot of figs this time around.

Nice that the quinjet is different too but the first one was great so it will be hard to beat.

How can you complain so much? this is more than we ever could've gotten

Be happy with what you have man, this is one of the best waves i have seen in my life!

So DC gave more time..I vam little disappointed ... again Captain America without a helmet, Thor without his helmet and again those old yellow hair would be better Qui-Gon Jinn hair dark tan. And worst of all Vision ... so I was looking forward to him and now purple head, head at least be green with printed face and not a purple head ... for a couple of strips. And strange sub ultron soldier heads..

Others are fine :) Even hulkbuster :)

I actually think last waves were better. A better span of figs, inspired original kits. Dcs recent efforts have been flawless. Even the dark knight returns and superman movie kits were better.

We're literally getting two kits which are the same as last time.

I wonder if people will still be happy buying the Quinnjet and jeep a third time for avengers 3?

This is very much a mixed bag for me. I'm definitely getting the Hulkbuster set, it was pretty much a given for me, but now with an image and a rough guide for the price it works nicely on my normal price justification calculator. Its nice to see a couple of sets getting Hulk with a full redesign from the last wave.

One of the biggest disappointments for me (that I suspect most people don't give two hoots about) is that they've stuck Black Widow piloting the quinjent with Cap on the motor bike, while in the trailer it was BW on the bike. While I assume they've done this to save on having a generic pilot minifigure at the minute the whole Lego Superheroes line (Marvel worse than DC with the upcoming sets) smacks of casual sexism and putting BW in the lesser role just perpetuates that. At least the next DC set with Wonder Woman doesn't have her unnecessarily in the damsel in distress role, but TLG seriously need to look at how they are using the female minifigures in this line, the whole nerd subculture seems to be becoming more aware of the sexist nature it's carried in the past and TLG need to be careful they aren't perpetuating old stereotypes that put people off. I am prepared to be proven wrong and see in the film that both BW and Cap drop out on Motor Bikes with BW going second to activate an auto-pilot but otherwise I see no reason for having Cap on the bike and not having an additional pilot figure.

The Quinjet looks fantastic although I wish we could have gotten a motorcycle that resembled the Harley Davidson version from the trailer rather than a rehash of the last Cap's cycle. The Avenger's Tower is the big surprise of the line. It is so much better than I anticipated, much taller and more substantial, not just a one level playset like the Helicarrier kit from the last movie. The new Hulk looks very movie accurate as well but I can't help feeling underwhelmed by the Hulkbuster set. It was the one I was looking forward to the most. Something just seems...off. I think it is the helmet dome. It may be one that looks better in person. The Hydra chase and Fortress are both a bit lame sadly. Even the minifigures in those sets aren't as exciting as I was hoping for. The new Iron Man helmet is nice but we could have done with one or two less Iron Man figs and traded one of them for a Maria Hill. Not a bad line, some disappointments but the Quinjet and the Avenger's Tower make up for them. When is this line coming out? May?

Really liking the looks of the Quinjet. I missed the old one; it wasn't a priority buy for me, so I kept postponing it untill it wasn't available anymore. But this one is a must buy..

I don't understand people complaining about the fact that we get, again, one. Yes, it is another quinjet.. or at least its a plane that bears the same name, but the design is completely different. A lot sleeker. The old one looked like a cargo plane, this is a stealth attack plane..

And.. yes we already had Hawkeye in a vehicle ( a blue pickup) , but this time it's a different looking Hawkeye in a black jeep.. Really, I do not know what people are hoping for, but besides cars, planes, part of a building... what else could Lego offer within their price tags? Taking into account that they also have to follow a bit the movies / license guidelines... If they don't there are complaints too. Remember the Mandarins fire breathing golfcart..

For army building reasons it's a pitty that the Hydra vehicles and soldiers follow another color scheme again; not the dark colors seen in CA1 or the green comics looks from the Red Skull set.. but I suppose this is due to their AoU movie appearance too..

Not sure about the fortress set yet, but the Hydra duel set (with the jeep and the buggy) looks pretty acceptable for its price tag..

The hulkbuster set doesn't look that overwhelming to me, but this will be the cheapest way so far to get an official bigfig hulk. For about double the price one pays on Bricklink (europe) for a purple pants hulk, you will get now Hulk, a decent mini mech, and a handfull of interesting minifigs... seems to be the definition of a no-brainer.

The tower set seems to represent the shape of the Stark Avengers tower rather well, but combined with the figs / as a playset it looks odd. I.m.o. it would look a lot better still if it was done in a kind of architecture style... Almost sure I ll pass and try to source a couple of those iron legion bots elsewhere..

The sub-ultron soldiers seem to have an interesting headpiece.. , and I usually pick up at least 1 of the smallest sets / battlepacks anyway..

Yes!!

Vision looks a little eh. Probably better in person.

Hawkeye's got a new hairpiece and looks super frickin cool.

Would love to see Cap in a higher quality photo.

That Hulk is killer!!

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch both look wicked, although they used the wrong hair for Wanda.

Glad to see Black Widow with new hair. Perhaps I can actually get her this time around.

Thor looks like Thor.

Iron Man looks insanely BA, and his various drones will help with some purist suits.

Ultron is neat, but it's hard to tell anything from here.

djmangunz, you took the words (most of them, not all  ) right out of my mouth!

Avenger's Tower is indeed looking really impressive, I just hope there's a great interior as well.. from this point it doesn't seem like there's a lot of room for it, though, in my opinion.

I also think the Iron Legion drones weren't really 'necesarry'... they're cool, definitely, but still.

My favorite so far though, is the Hulkbuster set. I was also a bit disappointed at first sight, but looking at it more closely and more often, I think they did as great a job as they could have, with it :classic:

The Quinjet is really cool as well, great figures. Love Black Widow's new hairstyle :sweet:

Iron Man vs. Ultron Drones is most definitely suitable as a battle pack and I will buy at least two of those!

The Hydra Fortress and -Chase sets are cool as well, but I might skip on them. Most of the figures in them exist in other sets as well, so..

Looking at the short preview-review [/home made term] at Brickset, it seems there are two Iron Man variants in there (not counting the Iron Legion drones) : Mk. 43 and Mk. 45... both look really cool!

In the Netherlands the sets will be available in March.

YES! March already :excited:

Mitch
