Quicksilver Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Well Lego only really work off the concept art that they're given so if the Vision concept art looked like that image then that's the design they've gone for. We know full well that they don't base them off the comics even if that's the most common and widely accepted version of that figure. Hell... even the Black Widow we got last time was actually accurate to the concept art (except maybe for the face) even if it was nowhere near the actual Black Widow in the film... same with Hawkeye. With the list Scarillian posted earlier it actually doesn't look like there's too many duplicated figures... Captain America and Hulk for sure... maybe one of the Iron Man figures is a duplicate... besides that it's Ultron Drone, Iron Legion and Hydra agent although they're basically goons so we expect those. I think I read somewhere that each of the Ultron figures is a different 'upgrade' isn't it? That's not too bad for a list of figures that long. Looks like the Fury, Hill and civilian clothed Avengers are being saved for the Hellicarrier! ;) Hopefully they are in the Helicarrier! I really need Hill and Fury! Quote
deskp Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Also i still have the question of Scarlet witch, what does she have in her hands? Galaxy squad blade things: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eV0e-5mrem0/UVBoJ2tJF-I/AAAAAAAAPag/eWgwSYNuc5c/s1600/Lego+Galaxy+Squad.png I assume tis suppseod to represent her magic swoshing. Quote
Quicksilver Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 How do you know Sander? Also... YAY! Also i still have the question of Scarlet witch, what does she have in her hands? In the comics whenever Scarlet Witch casts a spell a pink ball of light surrounds her hands... So in the set she may be casting a spell on the Hulk or she made the wall thing that Hulk is in. Quote
Zzz Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Pictures from the German January catalogue: http://news.toyark.com/2014/12/15/lego-marvel-super-heroes-avengers-age-ultron-images-146341 (not able to deeplink or make screencaps and post them currently, sorry) One thing to note is that the Guardians are missing - and they were already marked with "limited quantity" in the last catalogue. So in the set she may be casting a spell on the Hulk or she made the wall thing that Hulk is in. There are Trans-light blue cheese slopes on the wall, so that does give some credibility to your theory. Ultron could potentially be using Loki's Staff to control Hulk and Scarlet Witch could be attempting to trap him to minimize destruction. But, of course, LEGO would probably include the staff in the set is that was true. And that would kind of be recycling a plot point from the Avengers so, on second thought, probably not. But I still think that Scarlet Witch is trying to approach the situation in a more humane way in trapping Hulk instead of pummeling him into submission with the Hulkbuster. Quote
strangely Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) It sort of looks like the bike fell out of the Quinjet, possible play feature maybe? I'm hoping the interior in the Quinjet is as big as the last one if not at least a little bigger. To bad they went with blue for Scarlet Witch's powers, I would have much preferred red or pink. sander1992 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I have heard it from a owner. He said in march are the super heroes sets in store including the Marvel wave. Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 HYPE! EXCITEMENT!LEGO! Why have the pictures come out so early! Oh yeah, must have been Hydra. Christmas has come nine days early! Ultron looks brilliant! And Lego gave us Strucker and three Hydra minifigures! Yes! I'm going to have way too many Iron Man figs if I get as many Ultron drones sets as I think I'm getting. They finally fixed Black Widow's hair! And they kept Thor's the same. Damn. I took one look at the Hulkbuster set and thought: not getting it. But then I saw Scarlet Witch and unique Ultron. Damn you Lego. Wow, they've completely changed Hawkeye. At first I thought he was another Hydra guy. Loving the sets! Quote
kevkipo Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 i understand it's her magic stuff, but isn't that red? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Here vison looks dark red, but that could be the lighting of the picture: Here's a link too those who can't view the picture http://www.brickheroes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/76032-avenegrs-quinjet-chase.jpg Edited December 16, 2014 by amazingbricks Quote

JaseTJ Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 So am I the only one who doesn't like that hair for Hawkeye..? I mean, it's better than the one in the first wave... But personally I find brown to be too dark. His hair is brownish, but it's short enough that it looks lighter. Quote

By the way can anyone get clear shot of the mini fig boxes at the very bottom of the page?! Quote
Adeel Zubair Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Nice to see many figures with detailed printing besides the Hulkbuster and the actual builds in the sets which are not cool. I do understand it's hard to copy something from a movie but these just don't look right. (Guardians of the Galaxy and and Avengers sets were better overall) I will probably get these just for the figures when I see a decent sale. Nice to see different variants of Iron Man and Ultron's. I will defiantly get the LEGO Ultimate Collector's Series Avengers Helicarrier instead of this whole wave. (Marcos Bessa doesn't disappoint right)? Quote
Krikkit Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) OK, I was in Toys R Us tonight and they gave me the Following: 76029 Iron Man vs Ultron (90 pieces) (£11.99) 76030 Hydra Avengers Showdown (220 pieces) (£19.99) 76031 The Hulkbuster Smash (248 pieces) (£29.99) 76032 Avengers Quinjet City Chase (722 pieces) (£59.99) 76038 Attack on Avengers Tower (511 pieces) (£49.99) But they are not in stock yet, so couldn't get them out for photos. They also said that this wave should be ready for the shelves for Boxing Day. (Not New Year) and if Amazon place them online early, we may even be able to pick these up on Monday. Monkey Joe Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Are some of the Marvel figures on ebay counterfeit? Specifically the Taskmaster with painted shield and regular sized Hulk? They are listed as from China so I am sure some are, but I haven't seen those two elsewhere. Quote

Some bootleggers make custom designs found from games, other peoples creations, etc. To make sure you have a lesser chance of getting counterfeits, NEVER buy anything from China. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Iron Man vs Ultron: Great looking set. THREE Ultron drones?! And Iron Man?!?! Mine! Duel with Hydra: Nice! The little go-cart is cute and the truck isn't too bad either. Hawkeye's had a big update! Avengers Quinjet Chase: Even though I have the other quinjet, I really find this set appealing. I like the colour scheme, the minifigs and the little van too. Hulkbuster Rescue Mission: Eh... It's OK. Scarlet Witch, Ultron Prime and Hulk all look great, but I'm not too sure about the Hulkbuster itself. I dunno, maybe it'll grow on me. Attack on Avengers Tower: Wow! Day one purchase! This looks amazing. The Iron Legion Drones look great, and the tower is packed with features and still looks good, too. Burglary at the Hydra Fortress: I really like this set. Quicksilver, Hulk, Captain America, Von Strucker?! This is a dream come true! The vehicle is nice and the building isn't too shabby either. Overall, great wave! Can't wait to get my hands on some. Obviously, the Ironman Vs Ultron will have an Ultron and an Ironman. Can only assume that the City Chase and the Avengers tower will both have an Ultron and probably some drones. Hulkbuster Smash to have a Hulkbuster suite and a Hulk... makes sense right, probably also have a Lego car. Hydra Showdown, anyone's guess on this... They also said that this wave should be ready for the shelves for Boxing Day. (Not New Year) and if Amazon place them online early, we may even be able to pick these up on Monday. I'm really confused. Why are you speculating what the sets will look like? We already have pictures! Here vison looks dark red, but that could be the lighting of the picture: Here's a link too those who can't view the picture http://www.brickhero...injet-chase.jpg I'm really hoping thats what he looks like! Look at this picture: Everything in the pictures look darker! Look at Baron Von Strucker Edited December 16, 2014 by MODOCTORDOOM Quote
Risgrynsgrot Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Iron Man vs Ultron: Some good parts, exclusive Iron-Man AND 3 Drones for Army Building? Hell yes! Duel with Hydra: One of the two rehashes. The jeep looks okay, Thor is the same sans new arms, eh. Nice hair for Hawkeye. Will almost certainly skip. Avengers Quinjet Chase: This is the second rehash, to be fair this looks much sleeker than the old Quinjet. The new bike looks slick. And new hair is also pretty sweet. However I already have the old one so depending on what the figures will fetch on bricklink I may or may not pick this one up. Hulkbuster Rescue Mission: Big meh. The Hulkbuster looks bad, and is way too big. I was hoping that they'd would go for something more to scale with Hulk, using Mixel joints. Scarlet Witch is nice to get, but why the generic hair? I'd rather have some Iron Man that "flies into" the Hulkbuster than Ultron, BUT it looks like Ultron with the classic look so he's okay. I'll probably get it. Attack on Avengers Tower: Biggest let-down. I was hoping for a brickbuilt A, and more interior details. Now it just looks like a gray tower with lots of glass filled with exploding play features. The Iron Drones look ugly. I'll skip on it, sadly. Burglary at the Hydra Fortress: And the worst set! First off, WOW that price tag! Lots of big pieces for the "fortress", it's just a bad looking facade. The gun on the "tank" ruins the look. Quicksilver and Strucker is gonna get bricklinked. And if someone wants to tell me to stop being negative, please shut up! I'm the customer and I'm allowed to say what I think about stuff I'm supposed to pay money for. Quote

JaseTJ Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 It's the same as the Sleepy Kid hair color. By the way can anyone get clear shot of the mini fig boxes at the very bottom of the page?! I meant that Jeremy Renner's hair in the movies looks too light to use a reddish-brown hairpiece. His hair is brown, but it's shorter/thinner, so you can see through it more and it looks lighter-colored. Personally I have a burnt-orange hairpiece on him. Quote
