Boulderer Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 All these fantastic MOCs are starting to make me feel inadequate I love the steering wheel used as the badge. Quote
D3K Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Wow! Brilliant use of the grey "grille" part (between the seat and spare tyre)! IMO this must be the best car model in the contest so far! Quote
kennywest Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 This is what the 42022 should have been. I like it very much. Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Beautiful, lovely curves. You could use the new Speedorz part (hole with pin) in your doors for a bit cleaner look. And I suppose you want to replace the axle-pin connector in red with something else when you build it in real bricks? Quote
D3K Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 On closer inspection, I find some differences between the render and the pictures of the real model. Most notably the red axle pins in the render, the black 3x3 pin connector in the seat and the aforementioned grille piece between the seat and spare tyre.. Still, looks absolutely great. Looking forward to seeing more detailed pictures! Quote
jantjeuh Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Beautiful indeed. The entries are just getting better and better. Quote
gsia17 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Awersome model! May be worth a try to make a copy? Quote
super-jaschka Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 many thanks to all for such glowing reviews for my model. try to explain briefly why there are differences between rendering and photo: "Technic Axle Pin '(43093) can be used on the renderer to" Technic Axle Flexible 11' (32199) as the "Technic Axle Flexible 12 '(32200) in LDD extend or bend. Pictured model worth" Technic Axle Flexible 12 "(32200). ideas for my on the model should be part of "Technic 6 x 4 x 3 Grill with two pins and two pin holes' (30632), but the ability is not available. wanted "Technic Axle Joiner Perpendicular 3L with 4 Pins' (48989) in black, but it does not exist. had to improvise ... try more photos to make, but no guarantee of quality. Zerobricks Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Woah those pictures are waaaay too big... I like your use of the old crankshaft parts to get half a stud offset. Quote
super-jaschka Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 Woah those pictures are waaaay too big... I'm sorry, I have not yet figured out all the functions. I myself shocked by the size of the ... I like your use of the old crankshaft parts to get half a stud offset. oh yes, this transition had to tinker ... Quote
Erik Leppen Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 One of the better entries out there. Really has the "this is an official set" vibe. Quote
